I would better divide my portfolio into both strategies, to cope with risks. Sometimes you even better hold everything when market is not stable.

For the long term, about 80% of all altcoins will desapear, will stay only coin with own blockchain. We have to invest in high tech companies with own technology. Small companies and even exchanges could dissapear at any time.

seeing bitcoin price rises and always going up a bit slow makes me interested in investing hours for now, unlike altcoin up and down quickly maybe that's my reason. Grin

As a person who still strive for stable results, it makes sense to choose a long investment. And then you have to understand the main nuances.

Part of my portfolio is long term. The other is for daytrading and quick earnings when the market situation is normal.

I think btc, ETH and EOS can be longterm investment, While many ICO projects, I like to sell them quickly just after the ICO is over if the price is more than ICO price.

Long term it is much easier but less profit. It isn't necessary to watch constantly news and what will happen to the market.
Just buy and trust in bright future. Short term it is necessary to find more time.

The best are long term for sure. Check the price one year ago of any top coin, and you will see 10-200x, which is incredible.

Long term investment is really good but there are people who choose to invest in short term. Less expenses and less time. If i invest in that two i will choose short term. I don't need long term because we need to be practical. I thing there's nothing wrong if we invest in those two.

I invest only in the long term, I think so easier, bought and forgot. If invest in short term gain, it is necessary to follow the project and the news about it, it does not suit me)

I almost do not use short term, because it's pretty risky, but I invest in a coin when I'm absolutely sure in  early pamp.

In order to do this you need to track the market movements on long time intervals. Then it is possible to draw conclusions about long-term investments, while many people still see only speculative component.
