the longest time I break from gambling was around 2 years, it happened in early 2017. at that time I was enjoying all the money from bitcoin where the price of bitcoin was soaring (go on vacation and build a new home.) and back to gambling again in 2019 now. This means that I repeat again from the beginning collecting bitcoin, who knows in 2020 I can stop gambling

I do love playing at my spare time, but I'm not that fully hooked in gambling that I cannot go on a day without gambling, the longest I have taken a break from gambling was over a year when I worked abroad and worked on a country where gambling is taboo, but anything I can always take a break from gambling.

Taking a break during the vacation days. I don't take a break for a month so I think a week or two would be the longest that I can remember since when I've started to gamble with cryptocurrencies.

But if not with crypto gambling. It's like the usual gambling old days, I think the longest would be a year since I've took a break when I'm very active in visiting local gambling places, not the typical casino but like a residence gambling place.

I have taken a long break from gambling for at least 2 years, and I did not take a vacation or anything to quit my addiction or gambling habits because I had a strong intention to leave gambling at that time due to worsening economic conditions but even so, and in the end up to today I am still gambling but not to continue to gamble every day, in the sense of being more controlled to spend money on gambling.

I also took a long break for 2 years and until now I really did not gamble at all. I stop when I'm tired of the results I get from gambling and I think it's just a waste of time. until in the end, I chose the job with other ways to get more productive money. although sometimes have a desire to gamble when seeing a lot of big matches, but I don't have money for it Grin

Ive only ever stopped for 1 week maybe but reduced size alot from the peak of gambling all day.   I dont count the small scale gamble as quite the same as spending all day watching or preparing bets to place and speculating when to place or hedge various sizes.     Dont think I really need to stop betting longer then that so long as I can reduce the amount I gamble to a point where the loss amounts is just for fun, its not a major factor at that point just an interest.

It's hard to take a break from gambling if it's become a habit, what's your Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling, in my case my longest days of break from gambling is 30 days when I take a vacation from a place when there are no casinos, and no internet connection.
If it will become your habit then it will be hard for you to take a break for sure because your body will find it always unless you will go to a vacation for a long time where there is no way you can gamble either in a casino or online.

In my situation, I don't see gambling as my habit that is why I can stop anytime I want. I rarely gamble and when I'm gambling, it is always online since there is no near casinos in my area. I only gamble around one every 1-2 weeks for some reasons.

Gambling is indeed difficult to stop if there is still internet, I try my luck at casino gambling on weekends or holidays that I do, now I can not make gambling as part of my daily work or income, the rest is just that can be my luck.

I guess one week, lol... I know its weird but that's how it is, I just can't enjoy the day without gambling, and i think that time I got a lay off because I lose so bad, and I believe every gambler deserves a break whether we are losing or winning.

Actually, I'm hoping I could have more break in gambling so I can spend a lot of time to other things, but I guess that won't happen so soon as long as I still keep busting in front of my computer all day.

Very hard for me for me to have a break. Probably the longest I have is like a week or two and then go back again betting on boxing or going to a land based casino here.

But I won't consider my self addict though, just having some fun on those bets and if I lose, I can totally sleep with it.

Well, it is really hard to not gamble especially if gambling is a part of your day and it will not be complete without making any bets or gambling related. I think that the longest I have is a week. Since I am not that addicted to gambling anymore, I could make these rest days sometimes, most of the time, I will be breaking that week in 3 days or something.

It's rather difficult to define it as a break when I actually don't do it regularly. Gambling is more of a hobby, a way of enjoyment and entertainment in my case. I'd consider it as a break if I did Gambling as my way of life or as a main source of income (which I think is rather impossible to do so), but I don't. On the contrary, I actually think of Gambling as a break instead.

I haven't been gambling for a while now maybe a few months or so. I was able to control my self from gambling when I played with initial money of $200 and was able to double it through satoshi mines and bust a bit. I was able to double my money and became greedy and carelessly bet an amount that I like until I have lost all my money. From then on, I knew for my self that gambling is not really for me since I cannot control my greed and my habit of chasing my losses my gambling since this is not the first time it had happened.

I'm not into gambling but I have some clients and classmates who are Reay into gambling, if they don't gambling virtually due to low internet they will find way to play even around their vicinity. Familiar with tong-its, they will play it anywhere as long as they have time, they consider it past time that they bring cards everywhere or they will buy cards since it's too popular in our country many stores sell it.

Actually i have no totally break because i usually play when i have extra time just to unwind and enjoy my self.and its mostly weekends so definitely i don't.really take a long break

Maybe the longest is 2 weeks when i have a.visitor from province that i cannot find extra.time to play so what i did is forget gambling for a while and served my cousins when they are in vacation at my house

But other than that?no i don't consider it as a break instead.its only having no choice at all thats why i stop for a while

Two years mate, that is because I lost my job so obviously I don't have money to continue with my gambling habits(addiction). But as soon as I was able to find money again, I went back to my playing days either in a traditional based/online games.

But I must say that I have learned my lessons and I have contemplated in the span that I don't have a job. Lot's of regrets and what if.  Wink

So right now I just play to have some fun and also bet the money that I can afford to lose. Because I don't want to experience that again. Plus I have change my priorities as well so gambling as no longer on top of my head.

It's been over 2 years I guess I'm totally out of serious gambling, but a few months back I won some satoshis in Stake's giveaway and I rolled the dice at Stake.com for 1 or 2 days just for fun. I made some good profits at some point and then fell back below the starting point, then I stopped again. I think I still have some satoshis there, I actually never withdrawn anything.

But in my old days, Bustabit was my favorite place to gamble...

I can have a break anytime because I know my self how to manage. If I want a break then, I will have. There's no need to say that this should the length that I want to break, there's no time frame as long as you want. Besides, I did not give much attention to gambling, usually every weekend I spent more or less 8 hours per day but on a working day sometimes I gamble sometimes I did not. Even I won't gamble for almost a year I can.

As long as you can limit the amount you wager every day, I don't think you really need to take a break especially if you are having fun while playing. If gambling wasn't fun, you wouldn't do it in the first place so why take break? Life is too short. Just enjoy your time.

I remember I never gambled for like 2 years but it wasn't something I really planned. It just didn't come to my mind that's all. I have other addictions but gambling isn't one I guess.

Taking break for my gambling activities is highly an impossible task for me as I do get my own reason to get back to gambling. I am a regular user of freebitco.in site and I do have some balance always which always enforce me to roll again and again until I get busted off. I do write coding most of the time in a day and to refresh myself, I go for dicing on different sites which are having free way of rolling.

Being an online worker, I do get more time to be spending with my system which must be the reason why I am unable to give my gambling activities a break.
