LTC is at least immune on all those filthy lies that constantly surrounding BTC. I never heard anything like this about ltc, this is why price is very stable.
Will definitely do well in upcoming months because:
- Capable of four times as many transactions as Bitcoin in a ten minute period. Frankly if payment processors had adopted Litecoin in the past year current Bitcoin block discussions would be irrelevant (and likely the price of both coins higher). Anyone who has watched these discussions understands the immediate advantage of a network with larger transactional capability.
- Faster confirmation times. The only people who don't think this is important have never spent a single coin or they have patience that the average person does not possess.
- The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks.
- Anti-spam.
- Fast well established network. Current Hashrate is 1,643 GH/s. Since scrypt is memory intensive it is known to be approximately 1000 times slower hardware wise in comparison to SHA256. Fair comparison to the Bitcoin network requires multiplying that hashrate by 1000 (1,643 TH/s). The fact is for most of Litecoins history the hashrate has been relatively high and secure. Those comparing it to the Bitcoin network without considering this 1k factor are either being disingenuous or just ignorant of the facts.

Not because I have some LTC on my wallet but yeah I do believe this coin isn't dead and could go more than $10 in the next few months. My LTC has been kept ever since when they were still $7 and so once its more than $10 I'll finally profit few bucks.
waited too long.litecoin was never dead, it may not be the best altcoin in assistance mostly because of the development state and the fact that it is the copy of bitcoin. but it was never dead.
Litecoin is still alive and popular ant the most important part with LTC is the fact that Chinese are very interested in it and they always invest in LTC and pump it so there is good chance for profit.
I think by the end of this year we will see $10 LTC.

Bitcoin is going up a lot since a few days, and Litecoin even goes up against Bitcoin. Just last week it was 0.007xx BTC. Is this because Ethereum is losing ground? Litecoin has been around longer than any other altcoin and has more or less proven itself to stick around.
I am happily holding a few of them, nothing much, but it would be nice to see them climb up more.
Last I checked about a year ago on preev.com, ltc was around $3 so where it's at now isn't too bad. If it still gets used, more power to it. Wish doge would creep upward but that's another story. 1 ltc = 4.2640752 usd

You have no idea what you are talking about. Nothing goes up in a straight line. People will always take profit along the way. Despite, many people expected a full retrace to support before moon, so this is what we got.

BTC-e is fairly picky who they add... I'm sure they and the people selling their LTC for ETH disagree with you.

My theory is that they are adding these other Altcoins to start trying to gain some volume.
If I was a LTC hodlers... I think that I'd be liquidating for something that at least had a forum.

Ether is a big scam. The reason it was added to BTC_e is so they can allow people to dump their shitty/scam Ether coin easier, or because they anticipate poloniex to pull a gox soon (wouldnt surprise me or anyone else in the world for that matter)

ETH has been on BTC-e for less than 24 hours and has 115.4 BTC on the bid compared to LTC 750.51 btc bid.
Covered my Bitcoin short this morning and shorted the shit out of LTC quarterly futures.
They are still trading above spot by about 25 cents.

ETH/DASH added to BTC-e. I figure people will be selling LTC trying to get on those as well.
