I just invested approximately $50 in freebitco.in to gain interest payments. Let's see how it is going to end up in a couple of years after btc goes nuts . Having a few satoshis automatically every day as a passive income sounds quite alright to me especially while this service is here for years. I pretty much trust freebitco.in. Not with all my life savings though, it is quite hard to gain my trust.  Grin

edit: I also realized now after I made a deposit now I can get the full faucet bonus instead of %30 of it which feels great.

People can have multiple accounts from one IP address, if they validate this with the site owner. You just link separate mobile numbers with those accounts.

I'm not going to publish everything I look at to differentiate abuse. It's usually the size of the 'family' that gives it away the most but there are a lot of other factors. It is possible for accounts with high balances or with a high wagering to free winnings ratio to play from the same IP which is something a number of web posts and Youtube videos have detailed how to exploit. That is part of the reason there are people complaining that they lost what they 'invested' to cheat us.

I got super excited about the referral contest because I have a bunch of referrals that keep on both wagering and also using the faucet (usually not the same people) and I was feeling like I hit the super lucky button this time around. then I checked the contest and saw that the referrals are like 60 bitcoins at the 10th spot and growing. Lol

These are likely the owners of other faucets

I remember as a few years ago the owner of coinad.com (if I'm not confusing names here) had been bragging on this forum (and maybe in this very thread) that he was able to "recruit" a few thousand referrals at freebitco.in through his faucet. And I think that he was (is) not the only one capable of such feats. Really, if you can advertise your referral link 24/7 nonstop without running the risk of being banned (as is the case with forum users), you can attract quite a bunch of people as your referrals

I dont see they are making as much as that, maybe it goes a long way in some countries.   Sounds like they were relying on long term getting away with it, compound gains.

For all the effort they put into trying to con this system I hope Bitcoin is still open enough that there is a place for people with a bit of brain & effort to setup networks, hopefully in a productive way.   We probably need organised efforts like that to be in bitcoin, years ago they would have been mining but now I hope there is still some avenue or advantage for them to still be in crypto.   All that talk of 'team members' is like its a genuine turn over for them.   This is why I got a genuine soft spot for the POS coins because every wallet is involved with transaction confirmation where as Bitcoin got so big, its a giant business now and the old pools and its tiny users are forgotten

There are several questions from my team members in Indonesia.
1. Why do some members have many freebitcoin accounts, but their account is not blocked even though they don't deposit the balance.
2. Why, there are several accounts that are doing WD blocked accounts and other accounts not. even though the user is only one and has many accounts.
3. Why, new users who created accounts for the first time succeeded and 2 days later were banned and tried to register again until now they have not been blocked.
4. In addition to Deposit, Multiply, lottry ... where do web owners benefit from paying users who only do FREE ROLL every hour.
5, Why are there several accounts that are blocked and later on the account can be used again even though it was previously ignored.
6. WD from a freebitcoin account to a freebitcoin account can be called fraud ... or cheating.
7. Why, most blocked accounts that have a balance below 10K satosi (0.0001 BTC)

The question above is a question representing my team members in Indonesia

People can have multiple accounts from one IP address, if they validate this with the site owner. You just link separate mobile numbers with those accounts.

I think the site owner differentiates these users, based on their different mobile telephone numbers.
The site owner just wants to reduce misuse of the service by bots and people who are trying to exploit the service with multiple accounts.

I would have done the same.  Wink

I passively earned over $100 @ tinyurl.com/PIA10
There is a huge bunch of other nuances, contact me if you wish Smiley

That was fun reading

If you can employ all these tactics to earn a few satoshi (a few satoshi more) and actually go through all this mess, perhaps you should think about doing something more useful in life rather than stealing a few coins from a faucet? Yes, I kinda understand (though in no way endorse such actions) when people hack or crack a casino betting engine (just an example) and steal thousands of bitcoins as it may be worth the deal (ethical issues aside) but milking a faucet?

You'd be surprised at how easy it is to milk a faucet compared to hacking an exchange. The worst is just permanent bans and the leeches could just move on to other sites.

I am nowhere NEAR that amount, wish I was Cheesy If I had anything remotely at that level I would probably not look forward to 10 thousand dollars but to be honest free money is free money and its still probably amazing for all those people. Unfortunately I will not be getting anywhere near those levels anytime soon so its already a bye bye for me. I wonder what the top 50 looks like, I mean we can see the top 10 but what about the 11th? Is he very close? Maybe its another person with less than 1 btc near the 10th spot, that would be fun to watch Cheesy.

contributions were made in order to play MULTIPLY BTC and nothing more. That's why I'm asking for it back. But I'm not asking for a full refund, just a partial refund. Let some part remain for the damage I caused and the waste of time. Let the part will remain on the development of the service. I only ask to return at least some part of the funds invested by me. After all, 3 BTC is a lot of money for me and my family. The money to buy 3 BTC I took from the Bank on credit, so I ask you to return me at least part of my deposits, so that it would be easier for me to repay the loan.

I don't return funds to people I catch trying to steal from us. Stop being so pathetic and take responsibility for your own actions.

Every time we do something different to crack down on abuse I get a mixture of responses. The amateurs that have no idea what they are doing cry and beg like the idiot above. I got a strange support email yesterday from a really smart botter that worked out a very clever way to cheat.

I don't normally cross-post but this idiot cheat started off in this thread and the switched to the other one so here an update.

Why bother blocking out the pw's of a known hacker/cheat/whatever.  Seems to me that pw's are probably stored in plain text and you dont want people to know that.  An email and pw are pretty handy to the hacker types and storing pw's in plain text would be something that a hacker would do.

I didn't you dumb f***.

Cross-post refers to posting the same thing in more than one thread on this forum.

I just noticed in my email the possible 10k reward for referrals, I missed the leader-board details before and the amounts seem gigantic to me but I did manage to persuade a few people to sign up.   if they in turn sign up a few hundred also maybe I can make it Cheesy   I dont see its a hard sell to get free BTC and hold or take the gamble, faucets were part of the original distribution chain to BTC.   I hope that aspect continues as Im not a fan of giant business taking over, bitcoin is about the bits.
I figure the odds for each roll cannot be worse then a national lottery and even 10,000 would make a heck of a difference to me personally especially where I can use it immediately (most big lotto take a lifetime to actually pay out the full amounts)

I noticed a new app working with Freebitco, would this be feasible to use as well  - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5101192.new#new

It is feasible. The author just needs to program it to work with us. You could just use the same strategy with Seuntjie's DiceBot  https://bot.seuntjie.com/ .

So your case is, the door was open I just thought I'd wander in and pick up the wallets in the house... I wasn't going to take them as I didn't leave?

Sort out your quote too. It's way too huge.

the point is, I didn't make any losses to freebitco.in and Mr. theQuin. And on this I ask to return me my deposits. I am not asking to return what I have already lost in MULTIPLY BTC. I ask you to return the deposits from the accounts on which they were left. My deposits were in General about 3 BTC. I still have about 2.5 BTC left. I ask to return at least my 2 BTC. I repent for what I did and admit my mistake. I promise not to do that again.

I think it's obvious that in your case the deposits were the instruments of crime. Can you imagine someone hearing police sirens while trying to rob a bank with some expensive equipment escaping the crime scene empty-handed, and then asking to return the expensive equipment back to him? That's how you sound here.

okay, let's say you're right and all the accounts you've blocked belong to me. But from these accounts shall be withdrawn not a single Satoshi on this I didn't bring you a loss, and therefore I'm not considered a thief even in the criminal law, as neither of which were stolen. And the thief in this case is you, because you stole my money, which I invested in my accounts

That's hilarious

You know, in almost every country there is an idea or concept of an attempted murder. It basically comes down to you trying to kill someone but being stopped by somebody or something. And then you are pleading innocent in court on the account that you didn't actually kill anyone. Obviously, it won't help you as it doesn't matter since such was your intention. This is what the criminal law actually says. But please don't say you were there just for kicks

It is proportional to your total free-roll winnings. Every time you wager the % towards the next level goes up and every time you do a free-roll it goes down. Hi-Lo game is weighted 1x, jackpots are 4x and lottery tickets bought are 20x.

Thanks for the answer, but I still can't imagine even approximately how many tickets should be bought to increase my FREE BTC rewards by 1k sats. I just bought 1,000 tickets for 2k sats, and "4.1119% achieved towards the next +0.00000056 BTC bonus" has changed to "4.4007% ..." That's it?

Was jackg he right saying:

~ I'm guessing it'll be a few billion ...

It depends on how many free rolls you have made so far

And obviously it depends on your current tier. So if you are anywhere close to the cherished amount, you will have a lot more free rolls to make as well as buy a lot more tickets to get to the next level. Though I agree with you, the statement like "play jackpots in MULTIPLY BTC to increase your bonus 4x faster and buy lottery tickets to increase it 20x faster" is not quite clear about the base that we should multiply the number of our tickets with, i.e. what is to be multiplied by 20x exactly. A bit of clarity on this matter definitely won't hurt

I wagered 1.5btc to get a 1000 bonus but I have done a lot of free rolls.

But 1.5/20=0.075 I wagered with a starting balance of 0.03 so...
But that means it'd be about 7.5m tickets for me...

Okay, it is something more real than a few billions

So if one ticket costs 2 satoshi (last time I checked), 7.5M of them will cost you 15M satoshi, which is 0.15 BTC if I'm not mistaken. If you make 10 rolls per day, with 1000 satoshi you get 10k satoshi, and just to break even you will have to free roll for 1500 days on end or about 4 years. On the other hand, free rolls also give you tickets, though they are "lost" every week unless you can use them to boost your bonus somehow. Let me know if I missed a variable or two here

You guys are pretty much correct here. I can't tell you how many tickets to buy because it is a ratio of the wagered amount to free winnings so it is different for every account. You might even be able to work out the ratio if you look at the change in the % towards next bonus each time you wager or play free.

For have 1064 bonus i deposited (since i started 4 years ago) over 40 BTC , withdrwawn over 18 BTC and played more than 65k multiply rolls. For me freeebitco.in was a game, i haven't referral Shocked . Now haven't time for play there so i decided  to sell my account  Undecided

Anyone thinking about buying an account needs their head examined. The only possible advantage over a new account are the referrals and they could all stop playing the moment you pay for the account. The original owner could also try and claim it is hacked and recover it with a signed message.

I don't normally cross-post but this idiot cheat started off in this thread and the switched to the other one so here an update.

what referral system? you're wrong...I have no referrals and no other accounts. I played myself and only for myself. There's obviously some mistake.

These referrals you lying cheat.

All referred to another of your accounts.

https://i.snag.gy/3Jj0RM.jpg

but these are not my accounts...I have only 1 account. And that's why I write you. It is for him that I ask to return my deposits or unlock my account so that I can continue to play MULTIPLY

WTf???

Why was my account blocked? zhora.bolshakov.89@list.ru
My ID 16684243

Clearly listed in the referral list I posted along with all your other accounts signed up at the same time on the same IP network from the same device with the same fingerprint. All being used to abuse our faucet and referral program for which you were rightly banned. We don't return deposits to people that cheat us.

4. In addition to Deposit, Multiply, lottry ... where do web owners benefit from paying users who only do FREE ROLL every hour

I think I can answer this question

Back in the day, when FreeBitco.in was only a Bitcoin faucet, their main stream of revenue came from ads by Google. It was before they added the dice part. Right now, it looks like they are generating enough profits from it to allow free rolls for everyone without any ads. I think this is a unique and distinguishing feature of the site and if they disabled it, they would lose a lot of clients since their dice is nothing of the ordinary, honestly speaking, and can't be compared to the industry leaders like PrimeDice, for example (though I don't dice a lot lately and your opinion may differ from mine)
