Sure, we are seeing planes flying over Kiev everyday because it is so obvious that the RF has control of the sky... Maybe you are mistaking the HARM radar seeking missile that has been very much used to kill RF radars all over. Nothing to worry, the Ukrainian air defence is not doing anything, the Ukrainian troops are just playing chees in the trenches waiting to be killed. Nothing to fear, nothing on the build.

Hint: try that you propaganda at least matches to a point reality. If not, even those who really want to believe it, will not be able to.

The likely reason that you are seeing no RF aircraft flying over the city of Kiev is that the Russians have no more reason to fly over it than I do.  That would be zero.

I read in the news a few years ago, about some country that used cardboard tanks (fake tanks) to make it look like their military was a lot stronger than it really was. What country was that?

Every military does that.  It's not to make one look stronger per-se,  but instead to generally create some confusion and in best cases cause the adversary to waste capabilities by reacting to them.  Could be pretty effective when direct aerial photography was the norm, but I would suspect that more technically advanced nations are rarely fooled by cardboard or inflatable decoys as much at this time.  The strategy has moved toward the electromagnetic spectrum level (I'm guessing.)

On a related note, it looks like Ukraine found the secret switch which helps protect their air defense systems.  It's labeled 'power', and the secret setting is labeled 'off'.  Russian kills of AD systems really flattened off over the last half year (though they claim to destroy counter-battery radar at a respectable rate.)  It's possible that Russia found and neutralized pretty much all of Ukraine's AD, but I would be suspicious that they simply turned the systems off in order to preserve them for later if/when a more rapid land-grab by the Russians.

Excuse? No invasion is planned. You are just fine and do not have to worry about the Ukranian troops currently on training in Poland, Letonia, US, UK[,... they are just training for fun. It does not matter is the Bakmuth attack is stalled because nothing is happening. As said, just keep on throwing resources and wagner's convicts into the crossfire there.

Someone's fun.

I heard that there new standard issue gear designed specially for the few remaining Ukroids who are 'training' with woke NATO:  A slight evolution of what Zelenski was developing prior to landing the role of 'president of Ukraine'.

Anyway, the gimp stuff probably provides more protection than the cardboard helmets that Israel sent a while ago:

Ukrainians test helmets they received from ISRAEL and are surprised by the results

Disclaimer:  The vid could be fake propaganda for all I know, but it fits pretty well with the observation that almost everything the rest of the world does to 'help' the Ukroids seems designed to help them die.

They probably saw cardboard ERA protection on Russian tanks so they sent cardboard helmets for the lulz?

Seems to me that you are missing the important part of the picture. Those rings look like they are hooked onto the ends of chopped-off arms. But really, they are earrings in the earlobes of a really ugly woman in a leather (cardboard?) outfit.

Having looked at a few Ukraine dating sites, I wonder if she is really even Ukrainian? Or do the dating sites use Russian models?

Where's that Ukrainian 'greatest counter-offensive' we've been hearing about?  Last week it was bad weather.  This week it's something about new gear and saving Bakhmut or some such.  'Excuses are like assholes', so they say.
...

Yes, no Ukrainian offensive is planned, do not worry. Just keep on throwing the official "truth" here and keep on attacking Bakhmut - it is very important for the RF to conquer another flattened town that is in the middle of nowhere and in artillery range from the other side of the river. You do not have to worry about the nearly state of the art nearly 100 main battle tanks coming from US and Europe and those few hundred IMFV. That is just for defence, so no offensive planned in the next few weeks.

Sleep well, read the Pravda, listen to Radio Moscow and keep drinking Stolichnaya.

What's this week's excuse?  Bad weather again?  Whatever the case, it looks like Russia is keeping the narrow muddy door open to Bakhmut for the 'greatest stupidest unblocking operation' if Ukraine ever gets around to it.  But nobody can wait forever.

Training can be fun. But when food and water run out, what will they do then? And even if they still have water, it's not enough. Bakhmut, the self-imposed, concentration camp. Russia won't hold the door open forever.

Slava Ukraini!
Today she is in opposition, tomorrow she will join the ruling coalition. In democratic states, there are pluses - for example, the periodic change of power.
And when if she will be in the rulling collition, then it will be worth to pay atttention. Now there is nothing worth to discuss.
Ability to change power, that's beauty of democracy, something what Russia don't have and probably won't have anytime soon.

In a step that would increase the level of international tension, the Russian President said today that his country will deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus and that he has already sent ten fighter jets to Belarus that can carry tactical nuclear weapons. Putin said that the reason for this step was the UK's statement on the supply of depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine.

At the time of writing this comment, no official comments were issued by the international parties, except for the media, which considered the step serious enough to ignite the entire region.

Natural law is the foundation upon which the U.S. legal system was built.
The Declaration of Independence—asserts that every human is granted unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and it was that assertion that formed the frame of the United States legal system.

Freedom and the right to self-determination is natural and lawful, inherent in all humans and does not regard a state of mind, condition, or national identity. Every human, by free will, is sovereign and can self-governing if he/she chooses to do so.

Natural law is at loggerheads with many as it claims that humans are born with a certain moral compass that guides behaviors.

I'm so glad I'm not free.

I wanted to jump to the moon. So I went out into the parking lot at night when the moon was shining, and I jumped. I jumped and jumped and jumped. But I never got very far off the ground trying to jump to the moon.

After a while the sour grapes attitude set in. And it was then that I remembered that if I had been able to jump to the moon, I would have died in space for lack of air, and certainly of exposure (I hadn't been jumping with my space suit on.).

Thank Goodness that I am a slave to the laws of nature.

Of course, it didn't work out so well for all those Ukrainian soldiers who used their freedom to fight a war.

It looks like another Yugoslavia is planned in place of Ukraine. A draft law on amendments to the Law on Ratification of the Treaty on Good Neighborly Relations and Cooperation between Romania and Ukraine has been submitted to the Senate of Romania. Romania wants to annex part of the territories of Ukraine, which it considers historically its own - this is, in a nutshell.
LOL, you really post this kind of stuff seriously? You're saying that Romania wants to annex part of Ukraine territory, when actually it's just one pro-Russian politician. She is only member of party in Senate, she is in opposition and her word doesn't have no weight. You can find such people in most of parlaments in Europe, but in most cases it's minority without power.
If you want to push agenda that Romania or Poland want to annex West of Ukraine, you have to try harder.
Today she is in opposition, tomorrow she will join the ruling coalition. In democratic states, there are pluses - for example, the periodic change of power.

We are far to off-topic, so this is my last bit. Natural Law in my view is not a complete political choice and the "spectrum" here is quite simplistic and incomplete. The concept of natural law is extremely old, I do recall that even some old Christian theologists of the middle ages argued the existence of an absolute law embedded in the fabric of humanity, etc. But it is absolutely insufficient for modern complex societies.

If you chose to control your own life in full, then yes, you would need to live on your own... even in your own world, because the moment you live with others you have to concede part of that control to a set of rules of convivence. You may enjoy a great degree of self-determination, never a full one. In the extreme cases, all is ruled by the "great Leviathan".
Yes, Natural Law is the oldest Law and override all other laws.
Yes, Thomas Hobbes is very much the "Godfather" it.
No, you dont have to live on your own.
As ever thing is contract (and fact) based you need someone to have a contract with, social contract (marriage..) or otherwise.   Contracts rule.

I thought the oldest natural law was based on physical strength and violence.

Well you thought wrong.
You may have heard of  Thomas Jefferson Extract from Thomas Jefferson’s Argument in the Case of Howell vs. Netherland
Quote
Under the law of nature, we are all born free, every one comes into the world with a right to their own person, which includes the liberty of moving and using it at their own will. This is your personal liberty and is given to all of us by the Author of nature.

Natural law is the foundation upon which the U.S. legal system was built.

I am surprised there haven't been any threads opened about this yet.

In recent months, Russia has massed hundreds of thousands of troops and other military equipment on the Russia-Ukraine border. It is well known that Russia wants Ukraine to be part of its county, however Russian dictator, President Putin, has claimed that the troop mass is part of a training exercise.

The US and NATO allies are sending military equipment to Ukraine to help repeal an attack, and there is some talk about possibly sending troops to the region.

Update 2/18/22:
It appears there may have been some kind of false flag operation in Dumbas, Ukraine, an area controlled by a separatist group, today, possibly involving an alleged bombing of the car belonging to the leader of the separatist group. It is possible this is part of some kind of false flag operation to create a pretext for an invasion.

President Biden today said he believes Putin has made the decision to invade and will start an invasion in the coming days.

Update 2/21/22:
It appears an invasion has begun

Update 2/23/22:
It appears there are some kind of bombings in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine

Same way he deployed hundreds of thousands of troops over a year ago with the so called aim "
demilitarize ukraine".president Putin had top most on his agenda toppling the government of Ukraine's elected president.he hoped to over run Ukraine effortlessly and seize the capital kyiv there overthrowing the president volodymyr zelenskyy but it's rather mission unaccomplished.thanks to the bravery of the Ukrainian soldiers and NATO for constantly resisting the Russian enemy forces

The Anarchism and self-sovereignty is very appealing, but usually not realistic. We are social animals and would find it hard to survive alone.

Calling two out of nine U.S. Supreme Court   Justices, anarchist is a strong statement.
U.S. Supreme Court justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch are proponents of natural law.

Self-determination: the process by which a person controls their own life.

Why would you need to survive alone and cant socialize because of your free political choice?

As there is no party affiliation for Natural law, effectively all who abstain from voting or cast invalid votes are pro Natural law.

Natural law is basically simple. It is, "Love other people as much as you love yourself." This law is often found in the words, "Do to others the things that you want them to do to you." This second rendition can be interpreted in selfish ways, however.

Before Jesus died on the cross, there was a second part that was more important than the previous paragraph. It was, "Love God above all things." The laws were combined when Jesus died and arose on the third day after. We are again children of God, and we have always been brothers and sisters of each other. Jesus-God has called us His brothers and sisters. We are relatives of God.
