Then no trade will happen. I think Lakers are good enough with the current roster, they just face some minor problems but now they are back on the winning track. 2 straight wins against 2 good teams, first OKC and now Dallas (irving and Luka), sure their confidence are now back.

Lakers have to live with their identity, they continue being a good defensive team and they need to protect Davis as he is the key for this team to win a championship again. A healthy Davis + Lebron is a big threat among the teams regardless of their ranking.
I have no doubt that they will protect Davis, I even believe that it is insane to trade him (unless LAL receives an extremely advantageous offer).
That's true, if AD and LJ stay healthy, and if a third player stays constant and helps this duo, LAL could become a dangerous team, especially in the playoffs (if they get a seed, and I think that's possible ).

In the next few days, Lakers will play against the Nets, I believe the LAL will win... Brooklyn had their fourth consecutive loss and Lakers, I can feel that game after game they are more confident, anyway, I believe it will be an interesting game to see.

Lakers is really running out of options since they don't have good pieces to trade for him and they can't also let go those players what other team wants on the trade.

2 wins in a row, that's a great comeback after a losing streak. Those are home games win but that's okay, maybe next time they'll also start winning on the road. On their game against the Dallas, Russell has the biggest contribution, this guy was the topic that will be traded, but with his game now, I think the Lakers will change their mind.

Russell had 29 points from 11-20 and 5-7 beyond the arc, if he'll stay consistent as this, Lakers is going to be one of the teams to beat.

Could this be a sign that the Raptors are waving the white flag? This will be big for the Pacers aiming for the "win now".
https://www.espn.ph/nba/story/_/id/39330081/sources-pacers-acquire-pascal-siakam-trade-raptors-pelicans

This was posted recently and I guess Indiana is building something. Did the Pacers really get something from this trade or the Raptors made some incredible trade considering those 3 first round picks plus Bruce Brown who I think is in his prime as well?

Thats a big risk considering siakam said he isn't resigning for anyone he wants to test free agency out.  3 firsts I think was a bit steep without a resign guarantee.  Pacers I guess are in win this year mode.  They were good without him but now with Hali feeding him I can see them hitting top 3 in the east with a good chance of beating anyone in a 7 game series.  Was hoping someone in the west snagged him up...Lakers are running out of options.

In that case this will be a huge gamble for Pacers for acquiring him since they don't know if they can convince him to sign back on their team. This will be a big loss for them especially that they exchange their good players plus picks for this guy. But if he knows Pacers will do better especially that they will be paired up with Haliburton and click together maybe this could change his decision. So maybe it will depend now on the team performance since if it happen that Siakam will be a perfect fit on their team and be lucky to get a finals spot then for sure it could give them good result and get what they want for next season.

Lakers is really running out of options since they don't have good pieces to trade for him and they can't also let go those players what other team wants on the trade.

Milojevic, who has been an assistant coach at the Golden State Warriors since 2021, fell ill while eating at a restaurant and was hospitalized. Milojevic, who had a heart attack, could not be saved despite all the interventions. For this reason, the Utah Jazz - Golden State match was postponed.
I express my condolences to the Golden State team. Life is more important than anything else. Milojevic was only 47 years old. 😔😔

Pistons are on par with being the WORST team in NBA history. Their current win percentage stands at 0.098 and the worst ever was set by the Bobcats in 2011-12 where they managed to attain a win percentage of only 0.106 for the entire season. Keep in mind that Pistons have already achieved the longest loss streak at 28 losses in the row, this season. We are witnessing history in the making folks.

Haliburton is on his prime still. Turner, and Siakam is on their prime years as well. I guess what the Pacers did was a good decision. Trading their first round picks will not affect them that much because their key players are still young. Trading Bruce Brown will not have that much effect as well because the Pacers is at the bottom when it comes to defense, and he's known for being a very good defender.

Overall, the Pacers win on this one (for now since we don't know the future of those 3 first round picks) just because they got Siakam who can stretch the floor, can shoot threes, can give you 20+ Points, and a good defender as well. With this one, I believe that the Pacers will be more focus on the offense.

Was hoping someone in the west snagged him up...Lakers are running out of options.
They can still get LaVine, and maybe DeRozan. Cheesy

Kidding aside, LaVine will not fit for the Lakers because he's just good on offense, but not on defense. I don't know much about DeRozan on how he can defend, but he's a good offensive player as well. IMO, the Lakers don't need all-star player. What they need are good role players that can help AD, Lebron and other players in both defense, and offense. Just look at the roster of the Nuggets when they won a title. 2 All-stars only, but they're filled with good role players.

Paul George had himself a night as well as he carried the Clippers in the second half to a victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. He ended up with 38 points in his best game of the year. Westbrook had a pretty nice highlight down the stretch as well. They have the best record in the league since November 7th when they got things together.

He certainly had his confidence boost, he can't stop making shots especially beyond the arc. IIRC, the 2 back to back triples hit the OKC hard that they cannot come back anymore. However, that wasn't the turning point, it all started with Dort reckless move trying to fish a foul but ended up getting an offensive foul. Additionally, SGA was pretty limited this game, he scored less than 20 points which is uncharacteristics of him since he average 31 points this season.
The game wasn't "really" that further apart from each other as the score suggests. Nearly identical number of rebounds ,assists, blocks, stealsa, even near similar shot attempts. The only difference was that Clippers hit a bit more, sometimes it's all about that, you just have to hit a bit more.

Back in the day, hitting 40% on a shooting night was phenomenal, these days you have to go 50%+, I mean I remember when 50-40-90 meant something, nowadays you have to be nearly there almost all the time, anyone who doesn't have that doesn't even seem to be considered great anymore. So all in all, I am guessing that it is not going to be all that easy, we need to just consider Clippers just had a better night and that's about it, doesn't mean they are the better team.

Paul George's performance against the Thunder serves as more evidence that he has been a terrific player for the Clippers this season. It's wonderful to see him guiding the squad to victory because he has been so dependable. Westbrook has been a terrific addition to the squad, and his highlight reel was undoubtedly spectacular. They seem to be peaking at the right time, which is pretty impressive considering how much they've improved since early November.

Comeback of the year for the Suns against the Kings I think. This just after the Dame dagger against the Bucks the other night. Durant closed out the win with a couple free throws but it took one hell of a comeback in order to win this one. Good for the Suns. Glad to see Durant had the ball at the end too.

The Suns' victory over the Kings was extremely impressive, as it is not often that a club overcomes such a significant deficit. Another amazing play was Dame's dagger versus the Bucks; he truly is a clutch talent! Regarding the Nets, it's fantastic to see Durant make those critical free shots.

PG13 was phenomenal in the last quarter of the game against the OKC Thunder. Kawhi Leonard on the other hand seems to also find his rhythm on outside shots. 3/4 in a three-point line today but the most helpful thing he did was being a facilitator for the team. 6 assists and of those will probably go to the highlights. The pass to Plumlee.

OKC Thunder now lost two consecutive games and it might become three as their next game will be against the hot Utah Jazz. That team is on their 6th winning streak and they are not showing weakness every game, no exhaustion too, they are always aggressive and energetic. Thunder will have a hard time defeating that young team.

How about the battle of the two MVPs? Jokic versus Embiid.
Embiid scored 41 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds. Jokic dominated the offensive rebounds, with 25 points, 19 monster rebounds, and 3 assists. We are not used to this type of Joker. We do love watching him do some circus assists and tonight that didn't show. He was more focused on rebounds but the sad part is they are lacking on defense. Now I miss Bruce Brown on their roster because that dude always steps up his game when it comes to defense.
Anyway, the Nuggets versus 76ers' next meeting will be on January 27 and that time, the Nuggets will have the homecourt advantage. I wish Joel would play on that day.

Watch out for this guys.

The Heat vs Nets was a good one as well. It went to OT and what I like about it the most is both teams just attacking or driving to the paint towards the end. That kind of reminds me of some old school basketball. It's also Jimmy's first game since his injury and he scored 31 points.

Nuggets choked on last quarter, so the game wasn't close. If you don't know how to close a game it's not important how you play first three quarters.
Sixers was double digit ahead in last 2 minutes. The game finished with 5 points difference. People who look at the final score could think the game was close, but it wasn't.
That doesn't happen a lot. Let's just say that Sixers played better that game, but if it was a best of 7 series, I think I would always trust my money on the proven champ. not that I don't like Sixers though, in fact, I'm happy with their performance as they seemed to get better when they offload Harden, so I'm looking forward that they'll continue to impress us beating strong teams, especially in the East.

Kings lead I think 23 points in the 4th quarter and yet Suns were still able to comeback. They had some great offense but for this to happen to them twice, I think they have to figure out how to play great defense.

Suns knows they are down big but they didn't stop playing, specially Durant who made some clutch shots and with the help of some role players. Overall, it's fun to watch but it's just a big disappointing seeing the Suns not showing maturity in the game.

True, it's not good for the fans and for those who bets for them, that a huge lead that they let go during the last quarter, I was in the impression
that Suns will just let it go and let Kings to enjoy the road game win.

But just like what you said, KD show up and lead the offense and together with all those role players who are also helping him both sides.

It's a great comeback and it happened in front of all those fans and supporters who surely enjoy and love the game they watched.

I don't even think you watch the game and write just by looking at the scoreboard. You either lack reading or just straight trolling. I feel like the latter here so I put you on ignore.
I always thought basketball is for everybody but it seems like there are exceptions.

...It was a tie game until last minutes...
