Paul George had himself a night as well as he carried the Clippers in the second half to a victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. He ended up with 38 points in his best game of the year. Westbrook had a pretty nice highlight down the stretch as well. They have the best record in the league since November 7th when they got things together.
PG13 was phenomenal in the last quarter of the game against the OKC Thunder. Kawhi Leonard on the other hand seems to also find his rhythm on outside shots. 3/4 in a three-point line today but the most helpful thing he did was being a facilitator for the team. 6 assists and of those will probably go to the highlights. The pass to Plumlee.
OKC Thunder now lost two consecutive games and it might become three as their next game will be against the hot Utah Jazz. That team is on their 6th winning streak and they are not showing weakness every game, no exhaustion too, they are always aggressive and energetic. Thunder will have a hard time defeating that young team.
How about the battle of the two MVPs? Jokic versus Embiid.
Embiid scored 41 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds. Jokic dominated the offensive rebounds, with 25 points, 19 monster rebounds, and 3 assists. We are not used to this type of Joker. We do love watching him do some circus assists and tonight that didn't show. He was more focused on rebounds but the sad part is they are lacking on defense. Now I miss Bruce Brown on their roster because that dude always steps up his game when it comes to defense.
Anyway, the Nuggets versus 76ers' next meeting will be on January 27 and that time, the Nuggets will have the homecourt advantage. I wish Joel would play on that day.
Watch out for this guys.
