It's a shame Kemba had such a short career as a player. Hopefully, his new job on the coaching staff will be more promising for him than his recent attempts to get back on the court. As for Isaiah Thomas, as far as I know, he isn't giving up yet and still wants to return to the NBA as a player for at least 2-3 more seasons.
Its not shame but rather good achievement already as a player and he didn't have short career since he decide to retire after 12 seasons on NBA also he have 4 all star appearance. So even though he end up deciding because of his injuries I we can still see that he really have a great career on NBA since he's career is somehow good when he's on prime especially when he is on Hornets.
Its good that Hornets extend their helping hand and honor the contribution what Kemba did to their franchise then add him on their coaching staff since for sure he has a lot to teach for their young players as he's experience also skills would surely contribute a lot for the development of their team.
