Instead of betting on Liverpool to win, I am going to say 2.5 goals over with Liverpool win, not 2.5 goals gap for Liverpool though, I mean Liverpool win. So, it is not 3-0 Liverpool victory bet, or something like that, even if it's 2-1 Liverpool victory, so the total score plus the winner. That seems like a good bet and seems like it has 2.10 return where I play, so I think that's better, it's at least looking better than what Liverpool is getting at the moment for just their own victory.
Obviously this is a tough situation to be in, but we need to make sure that we know what we are talking about and not facing anything tough, we need to focus on smaller bets when there is a game like this, so that we are doing far greater in results and profits.
But I think it was quite likel that Liverpool would keep a clean sheet. Nobody could know that Mbappe would fail to score the penalty of course, but I expected that out of the game it would be tough to overcome Liverpool's defense and this is how it actually played out. Mbappe is kind of toothless at the moment and I doubt that anybody has an idea why except for himself. It can't be that he doesn't feel comfortable because why wouldn't he, he is still in Europe it is not that these guys can create their own environment and feel like home with all the money they have.
But he is not as explosive either, I miss all these dribblings that he is known for when he takes on multiple players at once and lets them behind himself. There is not much action of that kind to be seen so far. I think one reason could be that he doesn't have the midfielders around him that he wishes to have around him. It makes a huge difference when players like Messi feed you with assists compared to some players who are not as good as that.
But ultimately it shouldn't be made too easy for someone like Mbappe to find excuses. Other players have to get along as well and they do although they mostly have much less potential than him.
