I myself actually prefer the old format, it's more exciting than the new Champions League format. Because with this new format of course it will break the players' concentration, besides having to play in the domestic league, sometimes they also have to defend their country. So with this new format the players will "work hard non-stop" the impact is that besides fatigue, the injury factor also haunts the players. However, we as football fans can only enjoy it.

The way this table is presented is quite confusing, i.e. the first column listing all the teams is separate to the fixtures part of the table.
But the main takeaway from the tournament structure changes is that the league (or pot) stage will not feature teams playing 2 games against each other (home/away) but, instead, each team will play 8 games against 8 different teams.
Some could say it's not necessarily fair, but I can live with that.
This new Champions League format was very confusing to me at first, but after studying it for a while I understood how it was run. All teams will play a total of 8 matches against 8 different teams, that has never happened before in the group stage. This change in format also means that all teams have more matches scheduled this season, even the high tension of the Champions League competition can result in injuries to some of these players.
I don't know how the participating teams will respond to this change in format, but as participants they will definitely benefit from a financial perspective, especially income per match. In the early rounds there are lots of big matches, I can't wait for them.

Now we are in the draw phase and 4 pots have been announced. Each pot consists of 9 teams that will be drawn to determine who will be the opponents for each team. Placing priority on experience, I will agree to an extent with you that the new format will mostly favour the bigger and frequent team. Since these teams have got the experience, they have that advantage over the smaller team and the fact that more games in shorter times have to be played is a reason to understand that the bigger teams will wear out thw smaller team but this new format will definitely bring home more fun than it has in previous times when untill knock out or quarter to semi finals before we get to enjoy good and interesting games that involves clash of bigger teams in the champions league. Since big teams will meet themselves, they will eliminate themselves and give opportunity to some other smaller unexpected teams in the competition to perform. Many teams in the competition will be hoping for luck to shine on them so that they do not meet the big teams that will eliminate them early in the competition. The draw looks different this season, but anyhow it is every team will be hoping for luck, to meet teams that they are sure they can defeat. Top picks to win the competition this time also remains Manchester city and Real Madrid. For Dortmund that made it far last time, I do not think they can do it again.

I agree with your point of view. BSC Young Boys played well in this match and gave their all effort to win this match. The match was tough for both teams because BSC Young Boys did only one goal but I expected 3 goals from that team . Galatasaray team could draw this match but they didn't use their mind and played defensive. They should attack in this match but they could not do that . And after the goal of Virginius ,we saw no goal in this match. I would say Young Boys deserve to win this match. They have performed really well. After a 3-2 win at home I thought Young Boys would play defensively in the away match. But in this match Young Boys attacked a lot and tried to break Galatasaray's defense. And finally succeeded Young Boys. Young Boys won the match 1-0. Young Boys won the home match by 3-2 and the away match by 1-0.
Galatasaray is my favorite team. I would have been happy if this team could have qualified for the Champions League. But the team failed to perform well against Young Boys. However, now Galatasaray will be fully focused on the Super Lig. There is a big possibility to see galatasaray dominate in the Super Lig next season.

the champions league brings together the best teams in their respective domestic leagues, therefore arsenal must fight to bring out their full strength if they want to achieve success in this year's champions. we see in the two seasons in the EPL arteta's team has improved and made them a candidate for the premier champion but has always been taken by man city, most people think arsenal does not have a champion mentality and i agree with that arsenal must have it if they want to be a respected club in the champions league. this season they have the opportunity to prove it all and honestly i hope arsenal can surprise us all in the champions league.
I honestly feel for the Arsenal club and always wonder why they are always failing to take the Champions league even at periods they could have taken it, they in fact become weaker in their performance. Mikel Arteta seems to be a steady manager for the club and could soon be seen with the respect given to Sir Arsene Winger if he can surprise us and cast out the spell that always stop Arsenal from taking the Champions league. Unlike in the past, the competition have increased as many small clubs are now taking a new shape to be stronger and thicker for bigger challenges. It could be even tougher this season for Arsenal but not as much if they could strategize themselves properly.
I saw last season of EPL as a swift move to take the championship because Guardiola is always strategic in his approach to games and scenarios. Arsenal made slight mistakes who cost them big lost last season, one of which was their lost to Aston Villa. Coincidentally they've met again this season and Arsenal already lashed them two to none. On the other hand, if I'm not mistaken, each team will play 8 matches to determine their chances of advancing to the next round and I think it will drain the players' energy. But this must be tried so that we all know the good or bad with such a tight schedule starting this season.
