Barcelona after successfully defeating Benfica will certainly continue to compete against Atalanta in my opinion this is very interesting to discuss because Atalanta in the 7th match has successfully defeated SK Sturm Graz with a score of 5-0 and Atalanta players are very extraordinary slaughtering SK Sturm Graz with a fantastic score. it feels like if later meet Barcelona it will certainly be an exciting match because both teams are teams that are currently in good form.

of course in Serie A Atalanta is very good and is a strong team but Barcelona is also the same because Barcelona is also a strong team in Laliga in my opinion this will be a really interesting match but in this match of course Barcelona is at an advantage because it is the host but honestly I find it very difficult to predict who will win this match because the players of both clubs are very good like in Atalanta there is Lookman whose performance is very extraordinary while in Barcelona there are also many strong players including Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.

I didn't expect this performance with their current players, but honestly, Barcelona are doing good, and their last match against Benfica has been a testament to their improvement. Under manager Hansi Flick, the team has shown significant progress, however, I'm wondering if Benfica deserves a penalty. I'm still doubting the referee's decision...
You don't need to question something like that here even though it is a question. Because every decision that has been carried out by the referee in a match, it must be agreed by all parties Because the referee's decision is a very absolute decision and cannot be challenged by any audience. So you just enjoy the results of the match without having to blame the referee's decision for anything including the penalty.
Yes, that's right. The referee's decision in a match is absolute so we have to accept the referee's decision, that's football. Apart from all that, what is clear is that this match was very exciting, both teams scored hat tricks, both teams got penalties, there was an own goal, there was a goal in the final minutes. The best UCL match (so far). Apart from the intrigue, wrong decisions, and controversial referee decisions on the field, this is still how football should be, both teams scored goals.

However, even though Barcelona managed to make a comeback, it must also be admitted that Barcelona's defense was really exposed with through passes and less than smooth coordination in the back line. Barcelona was seen when there was no Martinez, their back line was not coordinated. Even though he was the unifying pillar at the back, Araujo could not be like that, especially when hit by an opponent's counterattack, Araujo was always the most panicked. Maybe this is what Barcelona must immediately fix in the future so that their journey in the UCL league is long and they can enter the semifinals, finals and even win the UCL this season.

The fact is PSG still gets bad results even though they play at home. They get a draw at home when facing PSV. Even have to lose at home to Atletico.
Facing Man City is not an easy match for PSG. Now Luis Enrique may be under great pressure if he fails in this match and may make it difficult for PSG to qualify for the knockout stages.
If Pep does well, they can get the win.

Manchester City are now playing very well this few days, and PSG also is doing well, however if you check the last 7 games Manchester city and PSG has played you will find out that Manchester city won more than PSG, in those matches Manchester city won 4 and PSG won 1 and they draw 2, meaning Manchester City knows how to win PSG and also how to hold them down, so if Manchester City use there old form to play PSG is either they win or they draw the match, however if we check the last matches This two clubs has played with other clubs we are going to see that PSG is doing more better than Manchester city, out of 6 last matches PSG has won 5 and draw 1 and Manchester City has won 3 draw 2 and lost 1.
The correct level of Manchester City if PSG is not careful they will lose to man city, PSG may use home advantage because they are always good when playing in there home, if Manchester city wins PSG in this game then I can say Manchester City are fully back to there old form and will go far in the competition, pep guardiola is a great coach I know he will push his team back to there old form and even make them stronger.

If Pep does it, then Man City will win. But if Pep doesn't give his players strong motivation, Man City is currently in a slump.
PSG and Man City are both in a difficult position right now. They have to fight to bring each other down. Even if they share points, their position in the Champions League standings will not be good.
I still hope Man City will win and qualify for the knockout round. I believe they can still compete in the next round. But if PSG wins, maybe Man City will lose their chance to qualify.

On Wednesday night Barcelona FC had a mind-blowing victory after going 2 goals behind Benfica in a 3:1 result in the 1st half of the match.  Back to the 2nd half Barca got motivated and turned the table around finishing the game with a 4:5 result with the goal to victory made in by Raphinha.
The motivation in the second half was topnotch. After the first half I began to calculate the possibility of Barcelona's comeback. My doubt even grew wider when the score line became 4-2 where the goal that made that of Benfica 4 was caused by R. Araujo a painful own goal in the 68' making any body doubt Barcelona would scale through but they did and big kudos to Raphina for the winning goal in the 90+6'

And tonight we have another special match, the one between PSG vs Manchester city. Both team's haven't been with a good record in this season's Uefa championship despite their echelon status in nearby years in this competition. A victory for any side will mean them going up on the table and increasing their chances of making it to the next stage of the competition.

But am predicting this match to finish in a draw or a 1 goal win for any one of the both sides. How about you what are your expectations from the match tonight?
This should be an exciting game for today. I think Manchester City have regained their form but today's match will validate my assumptions. But I expect much goals from today's match. Gaurdiolla will deploy tactics he has been preserving because this match is a must win for Manchester city.

Sparta Prague vs Inter - 2
Milan vs Girona - 1
Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb - 1
PSG vs Manchester city - x2
Feyenoord vs Bayern Munich - 2

these are the matches I am willing to bet a few satoshis on, total odds 5.28. too risky? what would you change?

Your prediction is almost same thing with mine and it looks so giving just that football can be somehow at times that is to say that it is not just about how amazing or sweet a prediction look but what is going to be the outcome. If you look at the prediction very well you may be tempted to heavy stake because of how good it looks but that is not advisable because the possibility or the probability it will play like this is zero (0). Amongst all the only game I don't actually like there is the Manchester city game though they may decide to surprise us all tonight and I hope they do...

I have doubts about the Milan - Girona game, despite the fact that Girona have lost all real chances to get into the top 24 and it seems that they have no motivation, but Milan are looking so bad in Serie A that I would not risk it here. Well, PSG - City is also too bold a bet. You saw that even according to bookmakers PSG is the favorite?

I hope that in the Man City vs PSG match there will also be similar excitement as in the Benfica vs Barcelona match. Although I am a little pessimistic that this will happen. Because usually when two big teams meet, both of them will try to play very carefully from the start and not play openly from the start. And if that happens then it will be a bit boring. But tensions usually increase after one team scores a goal. I would initially favor Man City. But I doubt it. What do you think and what are your choices for the Man City vs PSG match?
Personally, I'm not sure which team should be the favorite to win this match. Because these two teams have actually the same quality. Maybe if Man City is in good condition and able to show its best performance then Man City will still be the favorite. But the problem is that we all know that Man City's performance this season is very uncertain. They sometimes play well and sometimes get worse again. Man City's inconsistency really brings doubts. So I probably wouldn't dare to take risks in terms of one team winning. But I hope that at least many goals will be scored in this match, like in the very exciting Barcelona vs Benfica match.

Currently, I personally am confused about whether I should watch the PSG vs Man City match or the Real Madrid vs RB Salzburg match. Because I also really want to see Real Madrid play today. But maybe because I'm pretty sure Real Madrid will win today's match, I might be able to skip watching their match and focus on the PSG vs Man City match which looks like it will be fierce.

Barcelona won by a wide margin against Benfica, this match was very exciting. Barcelona were in a bit of a panic in the first half, with a 3-1 goal difference, I thought maybe Barcelona would not be able to repay this goal. But in the second half, when Barcelona responded, Benfica took the lead immediately after an own goal. If it was a difficult match to come back, Barcelona's strong performance and self-confidence brought them victory. Towards the end of the game and into extra time, they were able to score a great goal and Barca won by a 4-5 goal difference and collected 3 points, this match was a surprise and Barcelona's performance must be praised.
Barcelona did not win easily against Benfica but most of the time I felt like Barcelona might lose this match. Benfica took a 4-2 lead in the first 64 minutes. If the results are like this, then the team that will definitely be ahead has more chances. However, Benfica could not manage their defense well in the end. Barcelona scored a goal late in extra time to secure a 5-4 win. Had Raphinha not scored in extra time, the result of this match would surely have been a draw. When Raphinha scores, there are usually very few goals scored and the game doesn't go on for long after he scores. I can call Benfica an unlucky team on the one hand because to perform so well and be so far ahead in the last minute of the match is really like losing to luck.

Champions League teams are really not just any team, for example during today's match, of course we have seen Benfica's match against Barcelona and this match was really exciting and entertaining because Benfica as the host appeared very impressive and Barcelona was behind by if I'm not mistaken at that time the score was 3 -1 for Benfica's advantage, but if the team and players don't have a good mentality, they will definitely give up in that situation and may face defeat. However, it is different from Barcelona, which has a strong mentality which always remains enthusiastic even though it was far behind Benfica at that time, but with full enthusiasm and the match was played with maximum strength, it finally produced good results which in the end Barcelona was able to win against Benfica with a score of 4-5 and This was a great match by Barcelona.

Source: https://bola.kompas.com/read/2025/01/22/05231938/hasil-benfica-vs-barcelona-4-5-barca-berjaya-dalam-drama-9-gol-di-stadion-cahaya
and honestly what I liked the most in this match was Raphael, he really was a savior for Barcelona and in the last minute he scored a goal which ultimately made Barcelona's score superior and of course Barcelona succeeded in getting 3 points. In my opinion, Barcelona will definitely have the potential to be a strong candidate to become champions in the Champions League and Flick as Barcelona's new coach will definitely want to bring Barcelona to become UCL champions. What do you all think, is it possible that Barcelona will be a strong candidate to become champion?
Kudos to Raphinha as he came through for Barcelona during the last minute of the game to make it 4-5 for Barcelona. It was a brilliant performance by the Barcelona team honestly after the first half result where Benfica was already leading Barcelona by 3-1 I never expected Barcelona to win the game the highest result I thought they could have there is draw I never knew it will be a comeback win for Barcelona as both Lewandowski and Raphinha has to score double for Barcelona, Barcelona has to dominate the game had more Ball possession and several shot on goal that's a great mentality from the Barcelona side as they never lost hope after the first half result.

Regarding winning the UEFA Champions league tittle I think it will be difficult for Barcelona to win it though nothing is impossible in football game but we still have some better teams in the champions league that may give Barcelona hard time to win this tittle until we see them in the finals then we could easily predict if they will win or not but for now I can't really conclude.

If you think about it, what you say is true, it seems that in the Champions League it is too early to conclude that Barcelona is a strong candidate to become champion because in the Champions League there are many strong teams and of course it will be difficult to conclude who will be candidate to become champion.

In the Champions League, there are a lot of strong teams, so of course it doesn't rule out the possibility that Real Madrid will be able to advance to the last 16 and definitely in the last 16, Real Madrid will definitely fight optimally and of course in the final match that is what can be predicted well and Of course we'll see later. and of course what is clear is that UCL is very exciting. and of course in the next match Atalanta will be Barcelona's opponent, of course it will definitely not be easy for Barcelona to beat Atalanta because Atalanta has a good attack and of course in the next match Flick will definitely have to prepare his best strategy and if for example Barcelona wins of course this will be very good for Barcelona and will definitely increase the confidence of Barcelona players.
Yes there is still more bridge to cross so I don't think this is the best time to conclude who will win this season champions league or not it could even be a team that people don't expect that may win it as we can see it seems Manchester City are back to there fit again I believe they will be able to win PSG in today's game though it won't be easy we also have teams like Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, ATM , Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta and even Arsenal and so on so winning the champion at this stage doesn't have a favorite team yet until probably they gets to quarter finals or semi finals before concluding who wins or not, but as for Barcelona they show an excellent display yesterday they never gave up despite losing 3-1 in the first half of the game before later coming back to win the game 4-5 scoring the winning goal in the last minute of the added time.

I expected Barcelona to play well and hoped they could win this match. To see 9 goals in the Champions League is something, it's incredible how Barcelona managed to equalize at the end of the match and win in extra time. It's very rare for Benfica to concede 5 goals in one match, but it seems that Barcelona can beat any big team with such a score this season and they have already done it several times with Real and Bayern.

This was a very interesting match with 9 goals scored in this match, colored by 1 red card received by Benfica which ended this match.
They returned goals and finally Barcelona managed to close the goal in the second half's additional minutes so they could lock in the win.
Now they can relax because they can lock in their position and can make sure to be in the last 16. The last match they will play will not affect anything. That would be a very good thing, because they can use it as a match that they can use to rotate players.

The true champion mentality must be like that, even though they played away, Barcelona managed to come back after losing 3-1 in the first half and were behind 4-2. But Barcelona still managed to beat Benfica with a score of 4-5, this was a very interesting match with many goals scored and many tragedies and dramas throughout the match. Honestly, I personally was pessimistic about Barcelona with the defeat in the first half, but Rapinha became  the best player in this match by scoring the winning goal for Barcelona in the last minutes of the match. But even so, I still appreciate and admire Benfica's great efforts in this match. But unfortunately, Barcelona really made such a good effort too, that Benfica might fail to finish in the top eight.

It was a wonderful night and winning for Barcelona, honestly, I never expected they'd come back from two goals down. That was the most number of goals scored in a Champions League match by both teams. The Benfica goalkeeper again made a poor mistake resulting in Barcelona's second goal. I wasn't expecting Barcelona to be this good against Benfica because they don't have a good record against them, I expected Barcelona to lose or draw the game.

However, I must admit that Barcelona is far too good this season, I underestimated them against any major team since Real Madrid is the only team they can beat, while they are unable to defeat other weak teams in La Liga. Barcelona destroyed Benfica's hopes of finishing in the top four with an incredible comeback. Raphinah has turned into an absolute beast this season, who could have predicted him to be this good? I mean, this is the same player Barcelona almost sold last season, and we should stop praising Yamal over Raphinah; that guy is so good.

I didn't expect this performance with their current players, but honestly, Barcelona are doing good, and their last match against Benfica has been a testament to their improvement. Szczesny hasn't been himself, I could remember he was better than this while he was the goalie of Arsenal, now his like a shadow of his former self maybe it might be due to age. But nevertheless, in the game last night Benfica really worked hard for the goals they scored on the night. They were really fantastic durinythe first half, because each of their attack was deadly to Barcelona, I didn't even expect Benfica to pose a threat to Barcelona last night but they did. Barcelona on their part tried to come from 3 - 1 to make it 4 - 4, the controversy came with the 5th goal

No doubt benfica did great in the first of that match or also some part of the second half but allowing such numbers of goals to come from Barcelona and also giving Barcelona hope in the last minute calls for a great concern, personally what I don't like is a team acting as if the will win but at the end of the day losing the same match, benfica good first half outplay was brought to nothing by bacelona and I think that's a bad result for them, Barcelona needed to be applauded for such a good come back, am one of those people that never believe that barceonal will equalize the goals talk more winning they match, the game of soccer won't stop doing what it's been known for, though the rate out which Barcelona became aggressive in the die minute was a sign of taking up responsibility, there zeal to make a difference worked for them in the die minute, congratulations to them, benfica has to avoid the repetition of what happend in that match, there's no way there fans and mangement are gonna be proud of them in that performance of theirs and that's more reason they should improve to do better next time.
You're right, it's definitely a bad result for Benfica, from going 4 - 2 up in the second half to losing 4 - 5 at FT really calls for a lot of concern, I just wonder how the fans will be feeling after taunting the away fans when they were winning to being silenced in your own stadium after FT is something I can't imagine. Although in football, the chances of a team attacking continuously will surely lead to the opponent defending to lose concentration and when this sets in, mistakes will surely happen. Barcelona got a life line when the Benfica keeper made that mistake and the score was 3-2 that alone was like a life line for Barcelona. They capitalized on it.

Both teams performed well in this match and the game was competitive for a long time, although Barcelona won the match but they were lucky. The game ended in a draw but in extra time Rafinha scored a goal to help Barcelona win.
But Benfica kept their team safe for a long time but the last minute goal was a long pass and it was scored. Benfica's defenders were spread out which made it easy for them to score and Barcelona used their technique to win.

They both played well but that was a very unfair result for Benfica. Quite alright, I know one thing lead to another and both the coach and the players should take responsibility for bottling that match yesterday. However, it will be hypocritical to left the referee out of this. The Referee had a direct influence on the result of that game by obviously favouring Barcelona against Benfica. He clearly awarded non-existent penalty to Barcelona that gave them the third goal.

Generally, it was an entertaining game from the first whistle until the final whistle. I really didn't expect such dramatic performance from Benfica and assumed it was going to be an easy run for Barcelona. Defeat was highly expected but the narrative changed after the tensed and dramatic first half. Benfica played against Barcelona and tough game was highly expected but the referee could have allowed us to enjoy a fair game without prejudice and bias decisions.
Both teams made a lot of mistakes, but Barcelona's defense and Szczesny played particularly poorly. Benfica's goalkeeper made only one mistake, but it was effective, when he shot into Rafinha's head and from his head the ball flew into the goal.

Barcelona managed to win even despite the resistance of Benfica, Araujo and Szczesny and this victory will be remembered for a long time.

Although we must admit that at the moment when Balde and Schestny, it seems wrong to blame only Schestny, because if not Balde, Szczesny would have calmly knocked the ball out, but instead it turned out to be a goal for Barcelona and it seems that the penalty in the gate of Barcelona should not have been appointed, because Pavlidis himself initiated his fall and it looked all very played.

Also note that Rafinha again showed his leadership qualities and helped Barcelona to win and in general the Brazilian is having his best season so far in his career.

This match will always be remembered for a very long time. When almost everyone thought the game was over Barcelona came out with an out-of-the-world display. Raphinha is putting up a top-class show and he keeps improving as he gets older. But Barca would have to work on the defense because they might not come back if they played against a good side.

I didn't watch the Barca match, but looking at the score in the first half, I think they won't be able to make a comeback after the 3-1 score for a while. had time to reply from Raphinh's goal, but it seems that Araujo made a blunder that widened the score to 4-2 for Benfica. but after that Barcelona was able to make a comeback and win this match, I don't judge for now the mistake that caused Barcelona to concede first even with 4 goals. but what is certain, they were able to turn things around and win this match. well, it seems that there is a gap in Barcelona's defense that can be explored well by Benfica players. plus, based on the statistical value of Barcelona's goalkeeper, Szczesny, played very underperform. but apart from that I am happy Barcelona won, and my prediction for the Atletico vs Leverkusen match is as I expected. the two representative teams of the Spanish League won their matches well, today Madrid will face Red Bull Salzburg.

This game was really something else.  Grin  I would never expect such a result just like everybody else. I got even surprised a lot when Benfica captured a 2-goal lead.

However that was an incredible comeback by Barcelona from 2-4 to 5-4. 3 goals in 20 minutes... This is what I call determination. If you are having a bad day defensively then you will focus on scoring more.

But I only have one criticism on this game. I believe there was a clear penalty for Benfica before Barcelona's last goal. I think there was a push after the Benfica player got one-on-one against the goalkeeper.

Yesterday's game was a match worthy of the Champions League, but unfortunately Benfica lost
Benfica's president and coach are furious with the refereeing errors, but it's difficult to put the blame solely on the referees

I thought it was Benfica's day, it was very encouraging to watch the game until the 70th minute
The Portuguese side were supposed to be in a very comfortable position for the next round, but now they face Juventus and run the risk of missing out on the knockout phase
It would have been an incredible victory for Benfica

9 goals in one match  Shocked, did anyone place a bet on more than 5 goals?
