Also, this is very shocking for the 49ers after what we have witnessed from this team last season. What does Kyle Shanahan need on 2025 because this team appears to be stronger than 2024.

Both D and O lines seem quite solid for them. I'd go with a new QB, and then maybe a new WR or 2. Deebo Samuel is great tho, still one of the best in the league despite the game-breaking bobble in the 4th quarter today. McCaffrey is gonna always be a liability... his stock has plummeted since his last injury. So yeah they need to pick up a new RB as well.

For as low scoring of a game as it was today, it was a great game, watched it all the way to the bitter end. Go Rams!

I very much agree on the 49ers should trade for a new quarterback! We have argued this during the season when he became the qb1 of San Francisco. He had a good performance during the near end of season 2022-2023 and became the San Francisco darling baby of the whole season during 2023-2024. However, there is certainly an argument that he is not a very good quarterback if we compare this to the smaller names in the NFL like Justin Herbert or CJ Stroud.

On Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers might have paid very much a high price for this player. He cannot be replaced because it will be very difficult to trade him hehehehe.

There are very important games on week 15 that might be of importance during the playoff and the superbowl.

The Bills vs. the Lions. There might be a chance because of the unpredictability of NFL's playoff that these teams might be in the superbowl. This game might not be something similar to the Eagles vs. the Steelers.

The Pakkers vs. the Seahawks. This will be a very important game for the Pakkers! They want to be in the wild card, however, this is very difficult for them with the Vikings and the Lions also in the same division. Also, the Seahawks want to win NFC west, the Rams might have a winning streak hehehehe.
The Green Bay Packers have a 95% chance to make the playoffs even if they lose this week. This is the 1st time in a long time that the NFC North has 3 strong teams. Some might argue 4 as the Bears have a dynamite roster, just lost some close games and had some personnel issues. I look for them to be competitive next year if they can beef up the offensive line a bit.

The road to the Superbowl still goes through Kansas City until someone beats them, I like the Bills as well but somehow Mahomes has Josh Allens number in the playoffs. That's likely the AFC Championship game Bills/Chiefs. If Bills win they will get the Lions, I don't really see anyone else in the NFC that can compete. Eagles are having diva wide receiver issues, only other team with a shit IMO is the Packers and Detroits D will eat them up.

Playoffs should be exciting but mostly predictable.

On that playoff picture, it very much appears that this was a very important game for the 49ers and the Rams because they remain to be in the hunt. The score is presently 9-6 with a field goal lead for the Rams. If they win this, how much are their chances that they will be in the wild card?

Championship Ring Came in Today

*what a close contest this year, excepting me and Direwolf, we suck.

I'm telling you, fucking yahoo jinxed me again with that goddamn draft score of A+.  I want to shove that draft score right up their digital wazzoo.

It's been a fun year, nonetheless.  Congrats to all the eventual playoff teams, well done.

Those draft scores are more worthless than Hueristic as a commish ( just messin  Wink ).  But for real, if I ever get a good draft score from yahoo I know that my season isn't going to go well.  You definitely don't want a good score.  Doesnt mean you can't/won't do well, it's just that those scores are very "scientific" and they just base their "points" off of if you picked the next guy they had set in their rankings. That's all.

I'm cheering for a Bengals / Panthers Super Bowl, which has less than a 0.04% chance of happening.

Not only would each team have to win all remaining games (2 for Bengals, 3 for Panthers), but a bunch of other shit would have to go exactly right for that to happen.

At the beginning of the season, one of my friends put up a $20 bet for whoever wanted to take it. He got at least 10 people to take him up on his offer. The bet is for the Super Bowl: he gets the Chiefs and you get everyone else. Basic math says that's a good bet, as the Chiefs SB odds were 5:1 at the beginning of the season. Strangely enough, even after 12 wins, the odds have only slightly improved for them; here's where we're currently at:

Given how well, the Chiefs perform in the playoffs, they seem like a lock at this point. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe there's a bunch of Lions fans throwing their money at it -- they've been a franchise for 94 years and have never won a Super Bowl...
A few years back I had Kentucky to win the NCAA basketball March Madness in a similar bet. I had Kentucky other guy had the field. Needless to say I lost $100 as Kentucky made the sweet 16 and went out.

5-1 favs is not a guarantee as we all know, but much better odds in a favorite in a 14 team field vs a 64 team field and a more physical game where at any point in a game an injury could change the course of a game. Good luck to your friend. I kinda wanna see KC win for the 3 peat, but Detroit would be a good story as well. Then there's Buffalo who has been shunned since the early 90's.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Looks like we still have 1 more regular season game. If  Eli-2 Brady-0 gets the win, they will claim the 4th playoff spot. However, if the Moon Coiners win and Eli-2 Brady-0 loses, then it looks like the spot will go to Moon Coiners as they are up in Points For by a wide margin.

Good luck to all, and may the best team win!

CeeDee‘s Nutz takes it they win and Eli-2 Brady-0 and Moon Coiners both lose.

Alright mofo's , that's a wrap for regular season.  How in the fuck did that just happen, man time flies.

Congrats to those whom made the playoffs. It's crazy that the yahoo app doesn't have a playoff "picture" or say we are in the playoffs right now.  Just another reason to switch next year.  I might create a video presentation and send it out to the league as to why switching makes sense lol

So 4 team playoff then clearly, Cows congrats on 1st place, nutz congrats on 4th.  I don't think anyone answered whom nabers is in here?  Unfortunately getting second place puts me against 3rd place, and as I mentioned, no question the best team in the league atm.  So will take a miracle for me.

Anyways, great season guys.  Good group we got here!

of course they aren’t taking into account you grabbing your next drink so you’re kind of a false positive in their numbers, which is kind of funny. Of course I’m kind of joking with that but it’s true. lol

If the beer I'm drinking or the chips I'm eating or the shitcoin I once ridiculed on this forum is advertised during games then I'm sure NFL's creative accountants have me penciled in as worth like $50 to NBC/Amazon/et al.

Yeah you're right, those fuckers have it all figured out.  Their spying its getting so much better too, and with advanced programming (not AI because AI/AGI does not exist, yet, and it's making me lost my mind lol).. So yeah, I dunno if what I'm replying with is even on point with what you said but I know we're on the same page here lol (late night, exhausted).  Like I said, glad to see you, you dont visit us here like you used to Smiley

FF makes millions and millions of dollars for the NFL..hundreds of millions. As I mentioned FF changed the NFL completely.  The amount of people who watch on TV, go to games, buy jerys etc because of FF is MASSIVE.  This isn't me trying to act or sound smart, its just the honest truth.  The NFL has been vocal about how important FF is to them.  They may not NOT have byes on a certain week for it, but without FF the NFL would lose out on insane amount of money.  Cant count how many work leagues I ran that got people into the sport that had no clue about it beforehand.

Fair enough. I was thinking more direct money, like all of those casino sponsorships, but for all I know that's already happening. I'm usually getting the next beer during ad breaks Grin

Lamo honestly it’s crazy what fantasy football has done for the sport. I remember watching a documentary or something on ESPN that went deep into this conversation and it’s just such a bonding thing for so many people whether it’s your work or it’s your bitcoin talk buddies that makes it so valuable the more people watching the more revenue though of course they aren’t taking into account you grabbing your next drink so you’re kind of a false positive in their numbers, which is kind of funny. I think the Chargers/Chiefs will be low scoring but I don't know who I would take. Hard to bet against the Chiefs.

You are very much correct! The defense of the Chargers is presently very good. The score is presently 0 - 6 and there is only 4 minutes before the end of the 2nd quarter with the Chargers on the ball. This is a very good performance for the Chargers, I reckon. I wish they can have 1 touchdown before the end of this quarter and bring this energy to the 2nd half hehe.

BTW is it not ridiculous the NFL has 6 teams on bye this week.  When they add another week , my guess is 3-4 years tops, hopefully they will keep fantasy in mind a bit more (not that they don't, they realize how important FF is, but not sure if bye weeks matter a ton to them lol

I doubt it would work out that way. Week 13 had no byes at all, if I'm not mistaken. Probably because of all that sweet sweet cash NFL can get from all of those Thanksgiving week games. If they add another game they will need more money, because that's the only reason to add another game. So unless FF starts making money for NFL, it's not gonna matter. Probably a good thing too, there is enough gambling issues already, don't want to start getting players suspended because of fantasy football LOL.

Moon good to see you feel like I havent much lately, hope you're well !

I don't even want to look at my FF teams  I've been watching RedZone and doing hosse work stuff same time, but I saw many of my players NOT score touchdowns lol.

I love and hate FF so very much lol.

Two weeks being sick af so been bit MIA from the forum for the most part due to that.  Hope you boys (-1) have been enjoying the football season.  Once again injuries decimated every team I have.  Never fails. Been maybe my best year ever though up until the playoffs, anyhow,  In my ESPN league i'm in 1st at 12-2 Yahoo leagues, course in 2nd place in our league here (who's Howdy Nabers in here? they have the best team, no question. My other yahoo 1st place(work league, not gunna front and brag w/this one lol), Sleeper leagues..1st ,4th (3 way tie for 2nd place best record), forgetting another league and dynasty I don't know or care, my team will require about a 10 year rebuild in that one lol. Anyways I've killed this year, and sure good bit is knowing my stuff, but lot of luck.  I doubt I win a single ship and as you all know if you aint first, you're last Smiley

Been fun guys, can't believe it's week 14 already.  Depression is already setting in and theres still weeks left.

edit..whos the best team in the league ?  Curious what you all think (for me, bears, no contest, but thats me.  Firing head coaches and OCs mid season is a sign of success, after all)

Made the playoffs in all three leagues i'm in for the second year in a row, with largely different teams at that.

I thought i'd appreciate a setup with byes for the top two seeds and an additional two playoff spots. I'm not sure i like it anymore...it feels off. The four-team playoff format (which we now have) seems optimal. Reminder to self: do not propose any future changes to the playoff system.

Anyway, best of luck to the teams competing for the final spot, it'll be fun to watch from the sidelines knowing you are already in.
