So all in all I believe we could be considering City being in top four of premier league as much more important. Just focus on that, they look like they are doing better for the last two games, just do that and I am sure they will be fine.

Top four should be their target at this point and not fighting for the premier league title because the point gap between them and the first position is so big that they may not be able to catch up with them anytime soon again. They have other competitions like the champions league to focus on, so they need to remain focused and try the best they can to finish in good positions in both competitions they’re participating in. Their performance for improved in their most recent games, I hope they’re able to continue in that great form for a long time from now because that’s the only thing that will make them prevail in all competitions and stand a better chance to also get some good records this season after a good start and a poor mid season performance from them.

That is the hope that we have, because everyone is focusing their energies on that game, because not only City, PSG really needs it. For me, it will be a very good game, very interesting and it can be very promising, now to see who can be the winner. For me, this game should not end in a draw because everyone will be in suspense of elimination. In this game, a winner has to emerge, this will be very good.

I think the bets will be very much in favor of City for everything they have achieved so far, but each game is a different story, I wouldn't know which team to bet on.

I think this match is a life and death match for both teams, their position is very bad in the standing of course they want to perform better to be able to come out as winners. For me manchester city is stronger in this match, They have found their best form again but their opponents are quite difficult to beat so it will be more difficult to predict the final score.

But if you look at the matches they have played in the 6th round of course PSG has returned to winning ways while manchester city still can't find their best form in the Champions League. While in the 7th round where psg will be the host and maybe they will do good things to beat Manchester city.

Even if Manchester City focuses only on their domestic league, I don't think they have the opportunity to win the Premier League. It’s better to focus on both the Champions League and their domestic league. They are currently not in good form, and that is why they are seeing these results. If they get back in good form now, you will see the difference.

Manchester City has many quality players that they can rotate, but the truth is that the team is not getting it right, and this can happen to any team. Manchester City has been known as one of the best teams in the world for over four seasons now. I believe that, even now, if they get back in form, they can still win the Champions League.
Elite teams always come first because they're the best ranking clubs in tournaments. They're more ambitious and concentrated on major winnings. The UEFA Champions League is an important tournament and every manager craves for the bigger winning. Manchester City should not be underestimated simply because they encounter minor setbacks this season, Pep Guardiola is currently working on the team and will exert his energy towards hitting his top targets this season. Besides he's always available for the club, supporting his team becomes priority. Manchester City have excellent players and adding another category of high profile players will become valuable for the club. Atleast they now stand in competition for bigger trophies

Man City and PSG are both under pressure in UCL this season, their meeting later will greatly affect the chances of qualifying for the next round, so both teams need a win in this match, if one loses then it will close their chances or could be eliminated immediately, if you look at H2H, Man City does have a good record but with their current performance it cannot be a reference, so I am more confident that PSG will win. Luis Enrique must ensure that his men get a place in R16 otherwise his career at PSG could end this season.
I was hoping that PSG will be able to defeat Manchester City because the poor form they were facing in the past few months, but the team looks balanced and more competitive because they have won some important games in the Premier League which is the main why I am afraid of Manchester City against PSG because I am very sure that Pep Guardiola will do his best to qualify to the next round of the competition.

Even though PSG will be hosting Manchester City, I don’t think they can defeat City at this current form, but they also have some chances to prove themselves, and if they were able to that by defeating Manchester City to also qualify for the round of 16, it means that Luis Enrique is doing well because so far, we can’t judge because of the nature of their domestic league.

I am glad we (Liverpool) are already qualified for the last 16. Some of our players look tired so it will be nice to rotate and give players a rest without it affecting our chance at winning the CL.

We also won’t have to play that two legged play off which is a huge bonus. Teams like Man City and Real Madrid might not have this luxury.
For now Liverpool can sit back and strategize to always be ready to play match after match. An extraordinary achievement if they really sweep 8 matches without being defeated. No club in the Champion League can be like Liverpool with 0 defeats and 0 draws from 6 matches that have been played, but remember that doesn't mean everything is finished. While some big teams such as Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Milan, Madrid, and Man City must fight harder.
Yeah, Liverpool will feel a sign of relief now because they have played a very good performance in this season, and that is what will determine their success in this season, although even other big teams struggled to make it to the round of 16. It might be a challenge for Liverpool still because for a small mistake, they might just get knocked out from the league, but I have hope in them. I think they will try to make it as the champions, viewing their performance from the start of the season.

For teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City, I hope they make it to the round of 16 because, considering their performance, they will have to put more effort into their performances not to lose or even have a draw in any of the remaining 2 games, if not, they won’t be able to make it.
I was discussing with a friend about the English Premiership title race this season and from our discussion and base on the facts on ground, Liverpool have a clean chance at winning the title. They have done exceptionally well in the champions league and from now towards the ending of January, they have no serious stressful matches apart from the league matches. This is why I think Liverpool will win Nottingham Forest as they meet this weekend despite that Nottingham have been very proactive lately and have been unbeaten for several matches. Liverpool will win to increase their gap between them and Arsenal and Nottigham Forest.

It is not easy to determine who can win in a match like this, especially when looking at the statistics of the teams in the domestic league, then the doubt will arise, I mean it will be more difficult to determine who can win this match. Sometimes a team can play well in the domestic league, but not in the Champions League, and vice versa, they can play well in the domestic league, but not in the Champions League. This is what can actually confuse us, especially sometimes luck can also be a determinant of the outcome of a match. But personally, I currently make Aston Villa the favorite.

Sometimes these games are very decisive because of what the players want to plan and how they go about the game, for me everything that has to do with how good a game is is the amount of emotion it generates and the desire the team has, for me this is very Mental , when you have a clear objective things happen, even if you put many obstacles in your way , it's Clear that in the local league a team can play well, but I have made complete sense When it comes to Doing well because in the UCL the teams grow a lot, that's why the forecast is quite wide , I wouldn't make a bet because I'm not clear who can have the advantage.

Manchester and psg they are all good but who is going to win in this kind of situation but I have a strong feeling for Manchester city should actually win we all know how we have been struggling but we are not as bad as when this season started and psg is no were near Manchester City in term of game so we all know how Manchester city can be if not for the little shift in game but am sure we are still going to make a difference in this game, and with how the games are going then we don't have a choice because it will be to bad if we can not even maintain a decent game, and everyone is entitled to there option but I still have faith in my club and I won't lie champions league looks boring this period.

And we have to start learning that every club have there season but we have not been doing good at all and am not really comfortable, with how the games have been going this seasons, and there is a lot missing and if you could clearly, who ever win then it's fine with me because who on earth would have imagined that we are going to be in this condition, we don't have much to do than to accept what is already happening and do better next season and that is why am just neutral about everything.

I like what Liverpool is doing in this season, I want them to keep doing this performance till the end of the season, I have that confident that Liverpool will qualify for 16 round in this season because they have done what will make other teams not to withstand them because they have the players that will make Liverpool dream to come to reality in this tournament.

Everyone thought that with the arrival of Arne Slot, Liverpool would become a mid-table team again, but with their current performances they are one of the serious title contenders for both EPL and UCL. Even though Liverpool's management has been unsuccessful and stingy in terms of transfers, they should be appreciated for their choice of manager. Arne Slot, who many people heard of after he came to Liverpool and didn't find attractive after Klopp, is managing to crush his rivals with a squad that is inferior to his rivals. You have to admire the Liverpool management in this respect. I hope they stop skimping on transfers and we will see Liverpool with both EPL and UCL trophies at the end of the season.

Real Madrid at this moment knows that every point counts in their quest to progress to the next round of the competition? A home game against Salsburg I think will be an easy one for Carlo Ancelotti's men to get all three points. The quality of players at Real Madrid can't be matched by that of Salsburg, and now that Real Madrid knows they might fail to progress to the knockout stages of the competition, you should expect nothing but their very best in that game. My prediction is that Real Madrid will win that game as well as register 2+ goals.

That would be nice to bet on if you are quite sure of that outcome. Because the probability of happening may be indeed high as they have the motivation to achieve such position. But don't bet high stakes as you can't still guarantee the results. Be conservative with the amount of your bet even if you feel you will hit it right.
Real Madrid matches against RB Salzburg and Brest; you will have some bettors risking that, to bet against Real Madrid to lose any of the matches, which the odds for that will be much if Real Madrid is to lose any of their two upcoming Champions League matches.

The new match format is not favorable to big teams. Betting on big teams to win most of their match this season, doesn't go that way. It can turned out to be a surprise to u that Real Madrid lost or drew any of their Champions League matches, when everyone thought that they would have 6 points from both matches, taking them to the round of 16.
Real Madrid football team will play match against Red Bull Salzburg and that will be interesting match because  players of Real Madrid are in good form. But Real Madrid  team has good ranking on the table as comparison to Red Bull Salzburg because that team is at 20 position and that team won three matches and lost 3 matches and performance is not bad at all. Red Bull Salzburg team  has 32th ranking on the table which is very low ranking and that team has only 3 points on the table lost 5 matches out of 6 . Real Madrid football team will also play match against Brest football team which is good position and continuously winning all matches. But they lost last match and that could affect on the performance of players but players should try their best to win this match.

I think Guardiola will be focused on both the Premier League and the Champions League, maybe he already realizes that City can't win the Premier League, all they can achieve is top 4, but they can try to win the Champions League. It won't be easy and considering how difficult this season is for them, this task seems very difficult too, but I know that Guardiola is a maximalist and he will try to achieve the maximum result by the end of the season.

But before that, they have to play a very important and difficult match with PSG, as Guardiola likes to say, one step at a time, you don't need to look too far, for now it is important to win the next match.

Did you think they would give up on the Premier League just like that? Even though their performance is not really good and they did not look like they would be able to win either, I think Manchester City can do something about this before the end of this season. We all know how good Guardiola is and how he manages this team with a very good strategy, although it won’t give them any chances that they will do that because Liverpool is there, and they are not ready to drop any points as it is now.

However, for the Champions League competition, is it that they are doing better than the Premier League there? Because I think Manchester City's performance is almost the same thing in these two competitions, although I don’t know your reason for saying that, but to me their performance is still the same thing.

As for the premiership, Manchester City should just kiss it goodbye because i see no magic that will make Liverpool to drop points to the extent that Manchester City will now overtake them at the top of the league table. The poor performance of Manchester City before they started picking up recently has really caused them a lot and if time is not taken, they can end this season without any trophy. They are not even better in the Champions League and who knows if this recent performance they have shown in their last few games will last for a long time because i still have the feelings that Manchester City is yet to recover fully from their poor form previously so until they have proven otherwise, it will be difficult to trust that they are fully back to form. If they will stand a chance in the Champions League, it will require a lot of sacrifices and consistency which may not be easy for them considering the setting of the Champions League and how teams have been performing so far since we have seen some smaller clubs pulling out great surprises at the initial stages but let's hope that Manchester City is fully back to the game.

Liverpool have really done well for themselves in this group stage so far. Topping the UCl table shows how good they've been. They are the only team with the best record of 18/18 since the start of the competition. But i think there is a need to win all games even though though they've qualified already.

That is the hope that we have, because everyone is focusing their energies on that game, because not only City, PSG really needs it. For me, it will be a very good game, very interesting and it can be very promising, now to see who can be the winner. That's a game that I'm looking forward to. Just as you've said, both sides needs a win, but the better side gets all points. And psg have the home advantage, which will also make the game very interesting. We can't really say that Manchester city are in form considering their last two wins. The UCl fixture is something different, so it isn't an easy game to predict. And, I hope I don't watch something boring, as I expect goals from both sides.

If we compare Manchester City's UEFA Champions League performance this season and other seasons' UEFA Champions League performances, we may see a lot of difference. The team won the UEFA Champions League a few seasons ago but have won just two matches so far this season. Manchester City beat West Ham by a huge margin few a days ago, so maybe their players will be able to play well in their next match. Manchester City will face PSG in their next match. Manchester City's previous record with this team is very good, moreover, this match will be played at PSG's home ground where they will have the Extra advantage.

Manchester City's visit to Paris Saint Germaine will be a very important game for both sides and that's because both teams will need to win that game to still stand a chance of progressing to the next round of the competition. Manchester City I know have not been as impressive as they used to be this season but in their last two games, they've significantly improved so I expect an epic game when both side meet at Parc des Princes later this month. I can't actually predict who'll win that game now but I expect the game to produce a lot of goals

That is the hope that we have, because everyone is focusing their energies on that game, because not only City, PSG really needs it. It has been too difficult for Pep Guardiola to read Manchester City retaining the Premier League title this season, but it is still possible for Pep Guardiola to win the Champions League title as long as he is able to make Manchester City progress from one round to another until the final. Of course I doubt that this season especially if Manchester City's form doesn't improve, but if they improve then anything is possible.

The toughest challenge is to beat PSG who will play at home, while Club Brugge looks easier based on the depth of their squad. On the other hand, PSG is also struggling to qualify for the next round by trying to be among the teams playing in the playoffs, but it will definitely be difficult because Manchester City is a team that is better prepared in my opinion.

I have to agree with you because in the Champions League there is no team that can be underestimated. Because all the teams that get tickets to the Champions League are teams that have fought very hard in their respective domestic leagues. So they won't give up easily. And it's possible that in the last two matches there will be surprises that could cause a team that is considered strong to lose.
Because this is UCL, unexpected things often happen here and that is something that is considered normal at UCL. because even ordinary teams can sometimes go further than other strong teams.

Yes, what you say is true, anyone can have the boost of morale and pride and win.
However, it is undeniable that there are favorite teams, let's say that i am seeing that there are more teams at the same level this season and consequently in my opinion we could have some surprises in the semi-finals..

Well thats what we are all hoping to see in the semi  finals because believe the champions league this season has being nothing but filled of surprises although most of the big boys have been out of form this season and we have seen so many crazy results and when it comes to betting on those big boys at this stage is something am not willing to risk again cause they have caused alot of damages betting on them.

But finishing 1st is supposed to give an advantage over finishing 2nd to 8th, isn't it? Or maybe I am wrong and it is all a new drawing after the first round and the advantage is that those teams do not have to go through the playoffs. I think that is more likely how it's going to be done.

Then yes I think this is a highly welcome possibility for some rotation. But it's tricky for all other teams as both Lille and Eindhoven are playing for serious goals in those games. Lille could stay in the top 8 and Eindhoven, playing at home, might have an unexpected chance to win important points against Liverpool and not drop out of the top 24. But it's possible that they seal the deal in the next game against Belgrade anyway.

Yes, for this new format, teams that finish in 1-8th positions have the privilege of not having to play a two-legged play-off. However, that does not mean they can easily get through the knockout rounds later, the luxury is only having time to rest, the rest of the UCL league matches are difficult to get through. A good start does not promise a good ending, this is what happened to Liverpool last season in the Europa League.

This season, Man City has nothing special, even qualifying for the play-offs is also difficult because they have to play against PSG, both of whom are also fighting to qualify for the play-offs. Meanwhile, Real Madrid can be sure to qualify for the play-offs because in the remaining two matches they will play against easy teams. However, Real Madrid, although they currently do not have the luxury of Liverpool, Real Madrid still has its own characteristics. Real Madrid often appear unstable in the group stage, but in the knockout round they are difficult to stop, especially if they enter the final match.
