~snip~
Madrid we know as the favorite team so far when playing in the UCL, but if we look at their performance this season, we have to admit that they are not in perfect condition like the previous seasons, so although Salzburg and Brest are not teams on the same level with Madrid, but we cannot underestimate them, especially in the last match of the league phase,  In my opinion, the pressure and burden will actually be on Madrid  side later in the match, because indeed their position is still difficult to qualify for the next round.
Currently Salzburg and Brest need to focus on mental and physical preparation to be able to overcome the pressure from Madrid like you say, in addition, the right strategy and the ability to stay calm under pressure will be very important when facing a big team like Madrid.
I am also sure that Madrid will be able to win the remaining two matches, but I think the victory will not be easy for them to get.

Maybe you are a fan of Real Madrid and that's why you think Real Madrid is the favorite team for the Champions League but I think even in the past years Real Madrid had strong competitors and they just won the titles in the past because they have much more money than many other teams in this tournament.
Now even spending money couldn't solve anything for Real Madrid and you can see because of having many injured players they are not in good form at all and I think teams like Liverpool can have more chance than Real Madrid to win the Champions League title.

Come on bro, try to understand again what I said about Madrid, I personally am not a fan from Madrid or Barcelona, but in fact we all know the rulers of the UCL have been so far, even I think most of us here will also include Madrid as one of the favorites to win the UCL although the actualy competition not started yet because their experience and mentality so far,  Last season we could see how difficult Madrid journey was even when they met Manchester City and lost the Santiago Bernabeu first leg, but can you see how they can bounce back in second leg and win the UCL in the end?
Sob, if you think finance is the main factor that can make a team win the UCL, then I think PSG will be able win UCL trophies, but in reality?

Looking at Real Madrid's current performance I agree with you that we cannot favor Real Madrid in every match. Real Madrid is inconsistent this season but in La Liga their performance is not that bad. They are still consistent in the top ranking with only 2 defeats. But their performance is indeed inconsistent in UCL with 3 wins and 3 defeats. They are in 20th place in UCL and their position can be taken by any team in the ranking below them. The difference in points in the UCL standings is very thin with only 1 or 2 points. But if you look at Real Madrid's mentality I am sure they will qualify for the next round even through the playoffs. I think we have often seen Real Madrid make an extraordinary comeback like in the match against Valencia.
In the end, Real Madrid is usually always able to recover at the right time. So I also believe that Real Madrid will eventually succeed in qualifying for the next stage. even though they have to go through the play-off round first. And even though at the start of the UCL this season Real Madrid really looked bad but for now I think they have improved. Mbappe has also started to adapt well here. So winning the remaining two matches in the current phase I don't think will be a big problem for Real Madrid. It's just that if we have a little doubt about this team this season then that's very normal. because we really can't forget that Real Madrid's record this season in the UCL is not very consistent.

I have really missed the Champions League.  Roll Eyes  It has been a really long break... The latest matches were played a month ago and the next ones are starting as of January 21.

I hope we don't see another long break after the end of league phase. Probably there would be another one after the qualification playoffs. Anyway now the most impressive team so far is Liverpool obviously. Winning 6 out of 6 matches is amazing work! There were competitive opponents such as Leverkusen and Real Madrid among those ones too but none of them was able to stand in their way. Do you think they will keep this up as of last 16?

This season Manchester City has faced many obstacles and difficulties, both in the Premier League and the UCL. This absence of key players has made Manchester City's situation worse in the competition. not only using Erling Haaland as the key in the game. I think a coach must look for a new solution for City to return to its glory.
The decline in Man City's team performance cannot be separated from the injuries of several important players in the squad and also cannot be separated from De Bruyne's performance who has experienced a decline in performance as a field general. In the last two matches, they have started to find their best form, although they may not be consistent in the future, but this should be the first step for them to fix all the shortcomings that have occurred this season, both in the Champions League and in the Premier League.

Erling Haaland is starting to have difficulty scoring goals because De Bruyne's performance may have declined slightly, resulting in the flow of the ball for Erling Haaland stopping. But when facing West Ham, he managed to score two goals for Man City's victory and hopefully this will be a turning point for him and the team.
In addition to the name KDB, there is also the name Rodri who in my opinion has a big influence on Manchester City's performance, apart from that, overall there is something that has declined from them. I don't know what caused this because it happened so quickly and I was also a little surprised that this also became a prolonged thing. Because from the beginning they had no problems and they looked very fine, but this is football where something happens at any time and cannot be predicted with certainty. Pep also seems to be too late to see this and too late to deal with it.

For the match against Salzburg I am not too worried, Real can win the match easily because as we see in the standings and also their overall performance, Salzburg is far from a team that can make a surprise especially in this match Real as the host. What I am quite worried about is against Brest, I think Real will have a little difficulty, Brest has performed very well in the UCL. But the point is that Ancelotti troops must get 6 points so that the chance to qualify for R16 can be guaranteed even though they have to go through the play-off round.
That match should be an easy win for Madrid because are the best team in the Champions League history, and they have been doing really well some seasons back, but they are struggling to get a perfect consistency this season in the Champions league, but the team had recently improved which is why I am hoping they can easily win because they really need to win their last two matches in order to make it easily to the knockout stage.

It must be like that consider how weak Salzburn is at the bottom table. They have no chance to qualify to the next round.

Talking about the result, i think we may see more than 4 goals to be scored by Madri.  I have no doubt to pick total over more than 3. They're playing at home, and their odds is now 1.11 to win the game. It's pretty obvious Madrid will destroy Salzburg.

I have no reason to doubted it consider Madrid is good in all of stats compared to Salzburg.

It will be tough for Real Madrid to get one of the eight automatic qualification slots for the UCL rounds of sixteen. It will solely be determined by the outcome of the games by other clubs who are on top of Los Blancos on the table. But they can secure it if they win the remaining two games between them and Salzburg and Stade Brest 29. If they are lucky enough, they might make it, if not they would have to go through another qualification round. Real have a good team but the three losses lately in the competition due to injured players really hampered the progress of the club.

What Madrid needs to do is maximize the two remaining games and then hope for some luck from the games above them that will end badly. The result can only be hoped for like that.
Even if they have to go through the Playoffs, I think Madrid will be one of the teams that will be favored to qualify for the knockout round. It's just that after the knockout round starts of course it will require their hard work and must be more focused because their chance is to face the team that is currently in the top 8. The current Champions League system allows big teams to beat each other at the beginning.

I also think so, overall Real Madrid's performance this season is very inconsistent and also the matches in UCL cannot be underestimated especially overall the strength of RB Salzburg and Brest is not that bad this season so it is also possible for RB Salzburg and Brest to make a surprise when playing against Real Madrid later.

It seems you are still using the initial poor performance of Madrid to judge their current state. They have improved and most of their players are back from injury with stable performance. You can see that in their Laliga matches. Those times that Madrid got those three defeats was when they were still struggling to overcome their injury challenges. Big clubs were the ones who defeated them, Madrid will play with two average clubs.

Rodri's injury was the main setback that affected Manchester City. Pep Guardiola has a culture of working with few players and this has affected their performance since some key players sustained injuries or started experiencing performance decline. The club seems to have started recovering but we hope this winning run will be consistent.

Man City's defeat in the previous few matches was quite frustrating for their fans but here it is seen how Pep can overcome it so that their last two matches they won again which is very important for them in increasing the consistency of the players they have, if you look at when they slumped it was not entirely because of the players but Pep was less strategic and made them lose a lot of points in the Champions and now I think they have to be able to take advantage of the remaining matches against PSG and also Brugge to ensure they advance to the next session but if that fails then they will be stranded from the Champions competition.

After an important victory in the last two matches I think they will stabilize their game again, we also know they have experienced a decline in many injured players and are not performing optimally and coach Pep is also frustrated with his deadlocked game scheme and now I am sure that they will be able to overcome the rest of this Champions match well.

Real Madrid are in a good enough position to expect a further playoff place, which is not the case with PSG, who are still below the top 24 and will play their next game against City, who seem to be coming out of their crisis. But in any case, it is surprising to see Real, City and PSG so low in the table, although the density of the teams is quite high and two wins can greatly affect the team's position in the table.

Seeing how bad Manchester City game on the field this season, we cannot close our eyes that the problems facing Manchester City are very heavy, plus the absence of several core players such as Rodri, of course this adds to the difficulties for Manchester City, because Rodri himself is one of the keys to victory in previous matches, as well as Manchester City defence which is considered less strong so that opponents easily break through the back line to score goals, Erling Haaland himself is a talented player, we know that. but it is very unlikely to win the match just by relying on a few players.
Manchester City is having tough time on field this season and it is hard to ignore. One of main reasons is that some important players like Rodri are not playing. Rodri was key player in their past wins. Also Manchester City defense is not strong and other teams are easily scoring against them. Erling Haaland is very good player but relying only on him and few others is not enough to win games. Manchester City needs all its players to work together and come up with new strategies to fix their problems and start playing well again.

Few months ago, Manchester City scuffle to win EPL matches that seems too impossible for them to overcome. Rumors circulate fast about the club weakness, all direction pointing to Rodri who have been absent from the squad but that was not the case for me. I could remember vividly last season, when Rodri was injured and sideline for months, the available players didn't relent and deliver perfect tasks and won major titles so what change this season? Pep Guardiola have pass through alot already, we watched hil struggle in Manchester City and there's absolutely nobody going to stop him this time. He bounce back to epic form and any oppositions that faces him, they should simply hope to settle for draw points.

The firing line of City is back on and we watch the outstanding performance of every Manchester City players, they're not scuffling to play, rather they're coming to win games. We're in the January transfer window and Pep Guardiola already closing sights on moves on his targets. He will add more players to boost the performance of the club and put them back on the EPL title race. No doubts about Manchester City, they can hits harder than anyone could simply imagine, this is not the first time they reach and level points with top competitive clubs.

Since the beginning of the UEFA Champion League Manchester City has indeed become one of the favourite teams to become champions this season, but it doesn't always go according to what the fans want, even the coaches and players themselves never imagined Manchester City would be in such a difficult situation, Pep Guardiola as a coach for the past few seasons has brought Manchester City to a better direction, bringing victory after victory, it's just that this season is really very bad, but whatever it is i still fully support Manchester City even though they will lose in the match against PSG later.

Manchester City's performance has fallen suddenly. And it was unimaginable that Manchester City would fall so suddenly. Manchester City's squad was strong. Last season we saw that despite De Bruyne being injured for a long time, City's overall performance was stable. But this season Manchester City could not maintain the good performance. However, the PSG vs City match will be competitive. It cannot be said that PSG will win. Because the performance of PSG's attacking players is very weak and irregular. However, the Luis Enrique vs Guardiola match will definitely be exciting.

There is no easy match for Real Madrid this season especially in the Champions League if they underestimate the weaker clubs usually the weak clubs will give fierce resistance and can give a surprise, hopefully Real Madrid can dominate the match and can beat the teams with all their might they must try to restore their best performance in order to continue to compete in the UCL, Real Madrid is the best club in the UCL they should survive longer and reach the final.

On paper Real Madrid are far superior to Salzburg and Brest, but anything can happen as long as the match is still in progress. Although the chances for both clubs are very slim, it could be very decisive and could punish Real Madrid. What just happened at Anfield when Man United held Liverpool to a draw could happen to Real Madrid.
This match is very important for Real Madrid to determine their fate in the UCL, they must take advantage of every opportunity and prevent the slightest mistake so as not to lose points at a crucial time.
Honestly I will not underestimate RB Salzburg and Brest, moreover Madrid is still a bit unstable when playing against teams below them. However, because this is the Champions League, at least Ancelotti and his troops understand the atmosphere on the field much better. Talking about the Champions League, the most important thing is the mentality to play until the end, therefore RB Salzburg and Brest must be able to match the mentality of Real Madrid game. That is the only key that other clubs need to prepare when playing against Madrid.

Maybe Real Madrid has performed poorly in some Champions League matches, but when a match was very important for them to stay in the Champions League, Real Madrid performed well and secured victory. If we can't consider Real Madrid as the favorite team for the Champions League then we will consider any other team as the favorite for the Champions League. I have also seen many seasons where Real Madrid finished second or third in the points table in La Liga but they performed well in the Champions League and in many seasons they won the Champions League title.

If there is ever a proposal in front of Real Madrid that they have to prepare for any tournament in the Champions League or La Liga, then they will probably prepare for the Champions League without a second thought. I still have full faith in Real Madrid and I believe Real Madrid will do well this season as well.

When you play in UCL there is one thing that should not be forgotten, never underestimate Real Madrid. In the midst of its inconsistent which is not too promising but we have seen this phenomenon many times. Even last season Madrid who lost Benzema could survive to the final, so I am optimistic for Madrid to continue in the remaining 2 matches by winning 3 points. With the note that the score is thin both when it comes to RB Salzburg and Brest.
Real Madrid is always a team that can come back from seemingly impossible matches and win, and they are very high-level. Last season, they came to a good place without a center forward, I didn't even expect this much. This year, they completed the missing area and transferred Mbappe.

Mbappe is also a very good player, without a doubt, even though he didn't start well at Real Madrid, he scored good goals in his last matches. Mbappe said in a statement that he was aware that he didn't start well and that he would dedicate himself to Real Madrid and do everything that needed to be done.
