I didn't add Madrid because I know that they are already the favorites to win the competition, but their team's performance is not up to standard this season which I think they will not go far in the champions league this season.

They are big clubs, have good tradition, and currently have good squads too, so logically they have good chance to move to a next phase of Champions League. But I never say they will definitely be qualified for a next phase, only based on their quality on the paper assessment. In sports, football in particular, performances on field in actual matches are more important than any paper assessment.
