one of the reason our country has so many accidents nowaday is because people are low educated and too subjective, and dont focus on driving, moreover drinking too much alcohol can lead to accidents.
I think the main cause of accident is drivers lost concentration. The drivers don't focus on the condition of the road since they make a call or receive a call while driving. Other causes, because the drivers read a document, a short message, see the events around the road for a long time, or set up the audio device . The last but not the least, they may get tired and fall asleep.

probably the main cause of road accidents are mostly drivers are drunk i think the reports on drunk driving are high
Road accidents are very common in Philippines and the known reasons of this problem was "Human Error" Either they are drunk, or they are over speeding,lack of sleep, underage or unhealthy. But sometimes some drivers are not knowledgeable about how to drive, they do not know the road signs or even their "right and left . Road accidents are sometimes minor but suddenly mostly are horrible. Some problem also are falls into unsafe manner, they are not following traffic rules.
I think one of the reason is those drivers doesn't have concentration to the wheels that's why a lot of accidents happen and even they are Not following the rules and the drivers are so reckless ..

Lack of discipline, not following traffic rules, in considerate toward others, drinking alcohol, irresponsible and lack of awareness...these are the main cause of accident.
Another cause for road accidents is driving under the influence of alcohol. Lack of sleep is another culprit especially if a person has a health condition like narcolepsy that causes a person to sleep suddenly without any control of it.
I believe that the main cause is reckless driving (including speedy gozaleses and such, distracted drivers and drivers who believe thay are smarter then everybody else on the road). Then, probably, negligence of road traffic management. And then there's DWI.
Distracted driving is one of the main cause for road accidents. Driving requires focus and undivided attention and if a person will try to multitask, it slows down the reflexes and senses.
in my country, the most dominant cause of accident is driving while using cellphones. and the second one is driving while drunk. you cant multitask while driving because you need to focus on the road. and also they must know that they cant drive while drunk because they are sleepy and dizzy

The main problem that causes accidents would probably be the undisciplined drivers and pedestrians. We cannot always blame the construction or engineering of a certain road, bridge or tunnel. At the end of the day, it always comes down to the fault of man.

Common causes of accidents in our country is tailgaiting. With the traffic that is happening around, people tend to find ways to just follow the car in front. Also there are times that people changes lang too quickly without appropriate signalling.Over speeding

Secondly, the motorbikes here in our country becomes a real problem because they usually causes traffic. Motorbikers tend to stick their bikes in the sidestreet. They think that the road is a maze. That is why, there are instances where trucks run them over because of this habit.
Yesterday there was a major accident here. Although no one lost their lives, a number of them received serious injuries and needed hospitalization. The traffic authorities had issued travel warning due to heavy smog. But if people are not ready to follow the orders, then what can we do about it?

I think it is a combination of things that nake accidents happen on the road. it is not just one act alone but it is also aided by the lack of communication human and me hanical errors and that is why every bit of precaution should always be excercised.

Insolent and self-confident drivers, plus the purchase of rights and ignorance of basic rules. All this just outrages, and a simple pedestrian understands that it is not only safe to approach the passage, but to walk along the roadside and stand dangerously at a stop. Over speeding
