There are three remaining matches that Inter Miami has to play and these matches will really determine their fate and whether they can achieve the target set to reach the top 9 so they can play in the playoffs, but looking at the points they have it seems impossible that will happen because even if they can win all the matches remain but if the teams above them win the match then that will not be enough for them, so their fate is also determined by the matches of the other teams. If they fail to be in a playoff position I think it is quite acceptable because some of the players the club brought in happened in the middle of the season when their position was too low so it was difficult to move up, but titles in other competitions should be enough to reduce disappointment.
Inter Miami current standings position remaining 5 points with teams placed on playoff round, but Lionel Messi absent not winning one match yet. I doubt with Inter Miami has chance raise to playoff position spot with left three matches still not confirmation with Lionel Messi return from his injury. Three matches left from Inter Miami against Cincinnati who lead top standings awhile and seems difficult for winning in this match and make Inter Miami close opportunity for playoff position place. But left two matches against Charlotte who one position above from Inter Miami position and seems not problem for three points but have bad performance after Lionel  Messi absent looks doubt with opportunity for finish on playoff position spot standings.

Have rumor if Inter Miami can't finish on playoff round spot, Lionel Messi will return to Barcelona as loan or not but this rumor from one side only without official confirmed from Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo is quite different from Leo Messi who's currently having good moments MLS competition, everyone respects him because he has earned it in Europe and also lifting significant trophies. Perhaps Ronaldo and Messi has similar attributes as big names that have top influences. Leo Messi is the undisputed GOAT in football and also the most decorated player in football history as he lifts his 44th trophy with his new side, Inter Miami. There's absolutely zero probability of Leo Messi playing in Saudi Pro League because he's just a different player from the rest. There's alot to know about the Argentine demi-god of football.

No doubt both players are the best and have dominated the football space for a long time. But they are gradually losing their influence and younger players are beginning to take over the central stage of international football. The debate about who is the best player among them will never end because both players have diverse characteristics that make them unique. Cristiano Ronaldo has in a short time changed the Saudi League. He singlehandedly brought the league to the limelight and has continued to assist the nation in developing football. Messi has also performed wonders in the US by leading an unknown club to win their first-ever prestigious trophy. He made history in the US in a few months.

Watching Messi play against Ronaldo again will be quite an interesting match to watch. That was what many fans were expecting when some clubs in Saudi Arabia began to table unspeakable amounts to lure Messi to the SPL. But we were disappointed when he chose Inter Miami. There are still possibilities of both players meeting again and the options will be through club-friendly games or national team matches since none of them have retired from international football. We should not also underestimate the power of money, Saudi clubs are big money bags, and Messi might be tempted to move to SPL if a certain unbelievable amount is placed on the negotiation table.

Lesser talents in the world of football ( More talented player's we had in the 80's and 90's compared to this term )else Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi wouldn't have dominated the wodlifor fifteen good years.
I don't want to see them rival against each other, hopes are they will get to play together even if for six months before they both resign completely.
Ronaldo have stated to fans that they don't have to hate Messi because they are his fans. Messi has his decisions to make and he doesn't follow trends and the crowd I'm happy he followed his heart.

I would with absolute certainty say that Messi will never play in the Saudi Professional League. There is a reason he went to the MLS and those reasons are manyfold. For one I think he feels way more comfortable there and also has more connections, a home and an environment he likes. What does he have in Saudi Arabia? I am also sure that his contract in the MLS and the sponsors that are involved is gigantic already. Financially there is no need to go anywhere else. And finally I am sure that Messi is for the US in regards to the World Cup what Ronaldo is for Saudi Arabia in regards to their ambitions to host the World Cup 2026.

I agree and I think Lionel Messi has made a fundamental decision for the Major League Soccer and against the Saudi Professional League. I am sure that he has been considering all offers that were on the table, but he took the time and thought about what would suit him personally best, but also what would suit his reputation best in the long run. I am sure he still earns good money, in fact he is earning very good money, but at the same time the Saudis probably outbid Inter Miami by quite a bit. Yet he decided to put an end to the rivalry with Ronaldo, which probably was what everyone wanted to see, and he followed his heart and also the desires of his family. They are most likely more happy in Miami than they would be in Saudi Arabia.

These two players will not have much time to reunite in one league and see the competition as we have seen in Laliga when Messi was with Barcelona and Ronaldo was with Real Madrid. These two players are very old and this could be their last team before they decide to retire. I even saw Lionel Messi so comfortable with Inter Miami because he got extraordinary support from this team. Even at the age of 36, he might decide to retire if his contract ends with Inter Miami. They will not look for any more challenges because they have won all the trophies while competing on the European continent.

For Ronaldo, he also got what he wanted in the Saudi Arabian league because he managed to become a big icon there. He even said that before retiring he wanted to play for the Sporting Lisbon team, which was his first club in his football career. We just look forward to their games in the next few seasons before they decide to retire.

Is there any chance that we might see Lionel Messi going to the Saudi Pro League? I think it will be really interesting to see him playing against Cristiano Ronaldo or even play with Cristiano Ronaldo if he actually goes to the same club that Cristiano Ronaldo is in at that time. That would be really something to see. Maybe the lifelong dream of many people will actually come true. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo playing in the same team.

But I am just speculating. That does seem like a little too good to be true. But I actually think that Lionel Messi might also think about his retirement. After all, he has achieved everything in football.

Yes, that is the dream of the fans of the two idols. Or there will be a friendly match for Messi and Ronaldo to compete against each other one last time. But maybe it was just a dream. Messi rejected Saudi Arabia's colossal salary offer before joining Inter Miami. I think because he received the most prestigious award for a ''World Cup'' player. For him, there is no more title to pursue.
Currently, being happy with his family and returning to his homeland is probably what he wants.

Inter Miami without Lionel Messi seems like a pretty weak team. Even before Messi joined Inter Miami, Inter Miami was not a well-known team in this part of the world, but when Lionel joined to become an Inter Miami player, it was as if Inter Miami had become a big team in MLS that was able to provide strong competition for other teams. Lionel Messi has always been a big influence on the rise of Inter Miami, even this season alone, Lionel Messi has been able to make Inter Miami even strong in competing in MLS.

Even in the two matches without Messi, Inter Miami had difficulty winning, so Messi was really needed in the Inter Miami squad to achieve victory and victory. There is quite a big dependence on Lionel Messi's presence on the field because he is able to show his level of expertise in providing encouragement to other players.
Honestly they still managed to get a tie even without Messi so I believe that after Messi they got a little bit better, not just when Messi plays, but between him helping his teammates out and basically showing how it's done, and also some players like Busquets coming in there as well, I believe that they got a lot better and should be doing fine in the end.

I believe that we are going to see something that would be a bit better and should be focusing on how we could do much bigger and better. I hope that they end up in the playoffs this season but if Messi misses much then not really. Maybe next season could be better, he came in way too late when the team was already at the very bottom, no idea why he picked Miami for that regard but taking the worst team in the league to playoffs is not all that easy and they will probably fail.

Inter Miami seems very difficult to improve their position in the MSL standings, so far they are still in the bottom two and their target is to reach the top 9 there is still a long way to go
Tomorrow Inter Miami will face New York City, after reportedly being injured and not defending his team in several previous matches, Lionel Messi is rumored to be returning to play in this match, and without his presence it seems that Inter Miami is indeed experiencing serious obstacles to winning, but injuries are difficult for players to avoid, especially when facing tight match and also a tight schedule.
It happened exactly as predicted. Inter Miami is helpless without Messi. The current condition of the team is not in good position until we can see Messi in the Miami team. If we look at the results of the last four matches Inter Miami have drawn two matches and won one and lost the other. Without Messi, their matches are becoming incomprehensible. Even if Messi doesn't score in the team, there is no doubt about the motivation he does. They hold the 13th position in their current standings with 33 points. According to their target, the ninth position team has 37 points. Although the points gap is small, the competition is very competitive. Meanwhile, three teams hold 37 points. So it's going to be tough for them to rich ninth in Miami's target.
Messi-less Inter Miami had a close call, equalizing in the 95th minute against NYC to maintain their play-off hopes. Initially, I believed that Messi brought a winning mindset to Miami, but I was mistaken. Despite having other talented players like Busquets and Jordi Alba, Miami seems more formidable when Messi graces the pitch. His absence is notable, his magic and winning spirit are dearly missed. To stay competitive, the club should diversify their talent pool and not solely rely on Messi.

I hope to see Inter Miami entering in the play off phase, only for fun, but this its gonna be impossible if Messi dont play every game until the end. They have a few other great players , like Busquets , Jordi Alba but seems like they are not in so good shape. Seems like they are enjoying so much the Miami Beachs.  Grin

The main question is, when its gonna be fully available Messi again? Intermiami needs him so much, they are a bad/shit team without him, the other problem their have is, MEssi is full aimed on the games for national team, and we have a few coming...

At this point, I actually think Lionel Messi is actually thinking about his retirement. You said that he is interested in the games that he will play with his national team. But he has already won the World Cup with his national team. There seems to be nothing that can successfully keep him motivated.

So it is not going to be unexpected to see him retire, to be honest. And I definitely do not think that he cares about Inter Miami that much, to be honest. I don't know when he will join the team again. But I also have a prediction that he is currently preferring to play for his national team more than his club team. I think he even realizes that he is in the team, both club and national team, to have his experience shared, and give important insights. Not to have the best performance of his life.
Since Lionel Messi was sidelined as a result of the injury he sustained, Inter Miami has been poor with their performances and results and it's still not being made public when their star man is gonna fully return to action.
The club needs to learn how to win games without Messi in their squad or continue to suffer defeats whenever he's absent.
The Argentine doesn't look like a player who's gonna play till he's 40 and might be calling it a day in his very successful career anytime soon.

It is also an important role for someone whose experience is needed for a team. His performance may have declined both in the national team and at the club. but when he is on the field, he will support the team and also his colleagues who respect him for not only his achievements. because Messi is recognized by everyone nowadays.
Honestly, I appreciate how Inter Miami welcomes Messi rather than PSG fans who are too demanding of them.

But Messi is said to have determined the time to leave Inter Miami. Messi seems to have no intention of staying long with Inter Miami after his contract ends in 2025. Could this injury spark his thoughts of retiring from his career?
After Messi joined Inter Miami, Inter Miami's winning streak continued but Messi was absent from Inter Miami for several matches due to a particular injury. Sadly, without Messi, Inter Miami is a winless team. Messi played a total of 12 matches for Inter Miami and scored 11 goals and assisted five goals. Messi also won the title for Inter Miami.
However, Messi joined Inter Miami with a two-year contract, but at the end of the two-year contact, he no longer wants to be a new Inter Miami. Messi has confirmed to reporters that he will join his native club at the end of his two-year contract.

@LDL Messi is a global superstar hence it was not surprising to see him uplift Inter Miami on his own but what’s surprising is how over dependent they have become on him that they can’t even win in his absence. Furthermore this injury doesn’t look good because he’s missed too many matches now and while I don’t think that he’ll retire but there’s a possibility that he may now consider quitting Inter Miami and return back home in 2024 only.
Yes that's what is being said that without Messi Inter Miami can't win a single match after that instead there are draws in some matches and defeats in others. Messi is a superstar who will never finish his entire career at one club. At the end of two years of contact, Messi can enter any club, but it has not been said for sure which club he will start his next career. However, without Messi, Inter Miami will be an unbalanced team, which has been proven by watching several games without Messi. Without Messi, Inter Miami will not reach the top of the points table but there is a possibility of going to the bottom of the points table.

The odds of Inter Miami when Messi is playing with them have come down considerably but they also have lost games like against Atlanta United where they suffered a major defeat. The bookies now use this team very well to deceive a lot of bettors as they don't give this team the real odds they need to have, they use the name of Messi to bring down the odds in a substantial amount meanwhile the team is what it is,sure it has more spectacle and more goals scored but the defense remains the same.

For two years though Messi is going nowhere and most likely he will retire in US MLS,don't know if with Inter Miami but I am sure he will remain here in US.
