Manny Pacquiao likes to fight with a boxer who will face him straight and also aggressive like him. This is a very good match since Golovkin is also someone who likes to stand up in front of a fighter and not run around like Floyd. Both of them had proven their skills already. The problem is that there is Covid. It might just be for the PPV. I'm gonna be betting for Pacquiao win or loss.

That would surely be the arrangement since we are still on a pandemic situation then we would see another event with having no crowd or simply being remoted.
It doesnt matter though as long this fight would happen or be arranged.Lots of people will anticipate this one and when it comes to PPV price then expect that it
would really be more higher compared to its normal price wayback but to understand that this is the way on where they do generate revenue then its understandable.

Im with Manny Pacquiao on here because he do like aggressive opponents the question is if he would still have the stamina compared to Golovkin? for belt
to belt stance.

Fighting at 160, GGG has the advantage. But as always, Pacquiao is proven to be more aggressive when fighting at the top weight class. I can't say that 160 is safe (as Roach considered it as risk) but if Pacquaio really wants it, I'm on him.

There are only a few boxers who still want to do something more on their career even they are almost in the retirement period.

GGG is deadly. Pacman is deadly. Hard to speculate who has the advantage. There are lots of times Pacquaio surprised everyone especially when he was considered an underdog on the match.

One thing for sure, I like to see this match badly. The time now for another great fight to witness.

However, this is just more of a "plan" for now. Not even at 1% progress.

On this weight division then it would really be hard to tell that Pacquiao would able to pull this up yet we know on what GGG is capable of. Going for another weight class specially for this one wont really be a simple one.
GGG is monstrous and i doubt that Pacquiao could handle it but maybe if this one would talk about speed and agility plus punching power then there might be chance.I havent voted out on the poll because its really hard
to choose which one would able to pull this through and same as yours im already excited for this match and if there were rumors then there would always have that chance that this one would push through.

GGV does have an impressive Win-Loss Record with only 1 loss. But when it comes fighting to Pacquaio, I don't look at the stats but rather let's take the discussion on the ring on the actual fight.

Let's not be deceived by the power of GGG because of his much clean records. Pacquaio on the other hand also has an impressive record that involved top boxers. For me, they are equal in strength but Manny is much quicker.

I will be biased for Manny here not just because I'm from PH but when Pacquiao wants to target a fighter, he is determined to take it down.

I knew that Pacman has the ability to be aggressive on the match but I doubt his stamina will stay much longer in the fight, he's too old and barely practice unlike when he's not a Senator.

GGV will also be like that. Both fighters are not on their prime already but they can still stand till the last ring bells.

And Pacquaio maintained his shape regularly. He won't stop doing exercise as he is not yet retired. It's not just reported on TV.

I predict this will be the fight Pacman gets retired in. GGG is a god damn savage, he will probably knock Manny clean out if he hits him with the same bombs that Canelo took.

We have 9-1 in favor of Manny, so I will assume that you are the only one so far who voted for GGG.

Well, you got your point, GGG could send Pacman to retirement but I think the probability of that happening is below 50%, that's because I like Manny to win and all we are saying here are just our bias opinion as both fighters are good but in overall stats and achievement, Manny does excel against GGG.

The Canelo who beat GGG looks like an amateur when he fought Mayweather, I would not think GGG is some kind of a special boxer though.

I honestly think Pacman would be stupid to take on this fight, though it would definitely be a huge payday. I expect GGG will deliver a brutal KO the likes Pacman has never seen before.

Agree, if this fight pushes through, it would be devastation on the side of the Pacman. Manny has fought fighter bigger than him before but it is on a catch weight and besides he was on his prime that time. This fight won't take place, too risky for a guy who had everything on his life now, money-wise.

But if they would twist this one and the two will meet at 150 lbs limit then i think Manny had a chance  Smiley. This is the only way he would beat GGG.

It's not the first time that Manny fought a bigger and a taller boxer in his boxing career, he fought De la Hoya, and Margarito.
Since you are showing the picture of the fight, you can also check this out.

So we should not be surprise if he will beat GGV in this fight, of course if they will make this a done deal.

another before and after and of a fighter taller than Manny.

Well, I brought up here the image that came from the OP, if you look it regarding their physical comparison Golovkin has an advantage of heights and it is taller than Manny Pacquiao. But as a fellow countryman of Manny Pacquiao, I am going to support him whatever happen on the ring. I believed that this legendary boxer will continue his career in the boxing industry. Indeed, this bothers in my mind, it is a great career move for Pacman to fight GGG?

Well, my boxer idol Manny Pacquiao is a great warrior and he has better odds here.

Pacman couldn't even knock out Adrien Broner... Do you really think that GGG wouldn't have stopped Broner COLD?

Pacman is also struggling to maintain his knockout ratio lately—only one KO in his last 10 fights, and that was against glass-chin Lucas Matthysse. For comparison, GGG knocked out both Vanes Martirosyan and Steve Rolls lately, and only narrowly lost against the GOAT Canelo. Before that, he was blitzing out everyone and still has a knockout rate of over 80%.

I honestly think Pacman would be stupid to take on this fight, though it would definitely be a huge payday. I expect GGG will deliver a brutal KO the likes Pacman has never seen before.

Got the picture you are pointing. But let's not conclude things right away as looking for Pacman's opponent's past fight is not actually a good reference if Pacman can able to handle it. The way you are describing the fight of GGG, you got carried away to the point that Pacman is just a chicken compare to GGG.

I see Triple G has more of the advantages, no doubt about that, and he is used to bout on middleweight class (154-160lb). I'm not blind at his deadly performance and his record tells it all how deadly he is. But it doesn't mean that Pacman can't handle him.

I really don't like to discuss technical details until the fight has clear progress to happen. If this match will clearly set, let's do gambling here, you for GGG and I'm for Pacman.

Manny Pacquiao and GGG are both nice, humble and great fighters on the boxing scene, it's an interesting match.

I knew that Pacman has the ability to be aggressive on the match but I doubt his stamina will stay much longer in the fight, he's too old and barely practice unlike when he's not a Senator.
Also, based on the size, Pacman is too small and yeah, I know that size isn't just the only factor in boxing, but let see. Still hoping for Pacman to win this match.

Their age is both good to match up, Pacquiao still wants to fight and Golovkin is almost 40 as well. Both of them are pressure fighters and I think this is gonna be a good fight so why did it take so long for them to arrange to fight against each other when it should have been done while they were younger.  Golovkin has the advantage, a little younger and I'm not checking it but probably a reach advantage too.

Pacquiao had been fighting with bigger opponents before and he had a way to beat them all, its going to be uncertain when facing this beast. Getting near Pacquaio however, is Golovkin defeat. He had to be careful when getting closer to Pacquiao.

They're both getting old to be honest, but I think that Golovkin is just too big for Pacquiao, particularly now that the Pacman is over 40 years old.

GGG was competitive with Canelo back in their last two bouts and that was just a couple of years ago. Everybody knows that Canelo is one of the greatest to ever do it in any weight class, and GGG managed to keep up the pace and arguably won their first fight.

I know that Pacman is a multi-weight champion, but I think this is biting off more than he can chew. I also think it would be his highest ever weight fight as I'm sure GGG isn't going to come down in weight.

I predict this will be the fight Pacman gets retired in. GGG is a god damn savage, he will probably knock Manny clean out if he hits him with the same bombs that Canelo took.

Well I think your picture is a little bit exaggerated. Golovkin is 5′ 10″ tall while Pacquiao is 5′ 5″ tall. There is 5 inches between them.

If this fight happen, who is your bet?
I have been a fan of Pacquiao, even though he is from a different country in the Philippines, I have to put a thumbs up on him, it is he who currently survives in the boxing ring which has an elite ranking of the world, he is among the senior boxing bettors who are currently in the Asian continent, even though Pacquiao is now 41, Pacquiao still seems to be in his 20s.

Pacquiao, has won 62 matches to date, Pacquiao, as far as I know, is a reliable boxer who has a lethal, left-handed style, who has won boxing, world champion, in a different class.
If, they bet for sure, there is no doubt I will place my bet on Pacquiao's side.

Golovkin can out-punch Manny on the first few rounds, no doubt, but if we are going to talk about stamina, speed and quickness, Manny has the edge and can go toe-to-toe with Golovkin for all 12 rounds. The only thing that Golovkin has to do is to either seriously injure Manny while he still has full stamina and his punches are still strong OR knock him out cold, but the latter is just not going to happen given how defensive Manny has become with his last few fights after Mayweather. Defense-wise, Golovkin can take some heavy punches, but I'm not sure how he's going to survive at 8 rounds or so when he shows some exhaustion and stamina depletion.
I just have to agree with this. I finished Golovkin's highlights all I can say is that he is a strong puncher, he is bigger than MannyPac but as you have said MannyPac has the edge on stamina, speed and quickness coz I also noticed the exhaustion of Golovkin on the latter rounds of his fight with Canelo. He is not used to finish the 12 rounds of a box since he often finish his bouts after 6 to 8 rounds, so maybe there's a chance that Manny could go after depleting his stamina before going toe-to-toe.

I'd bet for Pacquiao in here not because of the record or hype, but seriously, all stats aside, Pacquiao is the better fighter in most aspects.
Me too, regardless of his age, he is still MannyPac, the only 8th division world champion and soon to be 9th division ( crossed fingers ) Seeing the powerful uppercut of Golovkin in the 12th round of his fight VS Canelo makes me more to be favored with Pac. You guys should watch that clip so you'll know why.

I read this news today.

https://www.boxingscene.com/manny-pacquiao-fight-golovkin-freddie-roach-says--149298

What do you think about this fight, Manny seems like to break his current record to be the ninth division champion.

Quote
At the age of 41, Roach said Pacquiao could be eyeing a title in a record ninth division against one of boxing’s all-time great middleweights.

If this fight happen, who is your bet?

At 41 years old?Manny is still Fit and faster (but of course i doubt if he can still beat ages 30 and below with speed and accuracy ) But there is still some fight to expect for Pacquiao before He finally Leaves the ring for good.

And like what the Post above says?there is a  chance that Politics is still Behind why Manny is still wanted to go fight when he is already super rich and can even live luxurious for the rest of His life.
