Yes I can liquidate my steam inventories but that would take around a month before those funds are converted to BTC. Reason being my Steam accounts were "hacked" but luckily assets were not compromised thanks to SteamGuard. But unfortunately Steam locks my account from trading for 2 weeks after I changed the e-mail, password, and everything after I re-secured my Steam accounts. Once I am able to trade/sell I will be able to start liquidating. Then after that it will probably take another week or two before I can start converting the funds from steam wallet into BTC.
I don't make enough money to be able to pay back anywhere near 0.4 every few days, sorry. I wish I did but unfortunately for all of us, I don't. I may reconsider taking out a loan at a later date but as of now I would rather not, sorry.
I recommend you to handover the steam account to someone highly trustworthy here. Who will look into selling the inventory and will pay back. It's better to be safe. So, please hand it over to someone really trustworthy on the forums. TECSHARE, can you help the victims with this?
No thank you. That would be a huge liability to my own account and inventory as well as a huge investment of time. I already wish I had kept my mouth shut about having his dox because everyone has clearly been so appreciative of me coming forward with the information. I know you aren't responsible for this, but you have to understand this is already more of a waste of my time and energy than I care for it to be, and in the end the handful of people who would give a shit will forget about it in a few days. Then some other dildo will accuse me of something and produces zero evidence for the inevitable dramafest that is bitcointalk and none of them will be anywhere to be found.
People spend years here trying to build up reputations that people will trust in a sea of fraud, and they can be destroyed in seconds over the most utter nonsense, and people wonder why the scammers are left to scam, and the staff don't give a shit or get involved in anything that doesn't personally interest them. This place is just an angry torch holding mob now waiting to be pointed like so many lemmings at a target. Its pathetic, and it gets worse every day. I used to love this place because it provided me freedom to interact and trade with people who were of similar mind. Now I am just counting down the days until the 4-chan atoms reach critical mass and the whole forum just implodes in an over 9000 mega-penis blast. This is how communities using much needed disruptive ideology or technology are dismantled, and you with the torches are all helping. The banksters couldn't be more pleased. Continue to cannibalize each other and ignore them FTW.
As far as his steam account, what I suggest is one of the larger victims of this scenario makes a deal with him to resolve his debt in exchange for his discounted inventory of gift games, virtual items, and anything that is tradable, etc. Since the items could easily be reclaimed by filing a fake complaint with Steam, some time would have to pass before the trade is official and permanent. I believe the window is 190 days for Steam last I checked, but I am not 100% positive. I am sure some one else here who trades virtual items on Steam knows. Then it would be up to the individual debt owners to decide what they think the discount on the virtual goods should amount to in order to make up for the hassle of personally selling them on their own time. In my opinion this would be the most efficient approach to this situation.
