this is a really good idea, but at the moment it wouldn't be possible to make payment easily and quickly...it is necessary that bitcoin becomes even stronger and it wouldn't have such problems as too long transactions

mcdonalds can accept bitcoin as long as it is in the correct process for use correctly. It will be hard to use for people who do not know what bitcoin means and how it will be used. need to change the fee and acceptance using bitcoin because most cash is paid to mcdonalds stores. one year or more will take the process to receive bitcoin the mcdonalds

This is a very nice idea if they are going to implement a payment method where mcdonalds will accept bitcoins as a payment to buy goods in there fastfood restaurant, More people will eat in their place.

McDonald promoting btc is the biggest help that bitcoin can get from a popular franchise but I'm just afraid that they would end just like what Steam did because of its high volatility.

I just heard about it today. I think it's impossible to accept the mcdonalds of bitcoin because bitcoin does not pay taxes in the Philippines and no bitcoins have been used to pay for the item you bought. Because there is no law enforcing the government to use bitcoin to pay for products or goods from mcdonalds

I think it depends on the company who wants to receive bitcoin, bitcoin does not prohibit as long as it is legally used, so far I have not seen or heard in the media if mcdonalds really accept, in case of taxes bitcoin in the philippines, mcdonalds will be able to receive bitcoin. there is still a need to study such things to be legal in the country

Yes that's is true, i read some article or blog about McDonald and they actually accept bitcoin in this coming year 2018, but not all branchase i think in the other country they start to accept that when this year 2018 comes. Anyways, even in my country ( Philippines ) they start to accept bitcoin as a payment in restaurant, i don't know if McDonald also accept bitcoin in my country when this year 2018 is coming.

Correct. This will be depending on the country because of this banning, many cant avail its benefit. It is also limited to store because bitcoin wont provide free hardwared for each store of MC Donalds, meaning, another expenses for the company which can also be provided even without bitcoin payment that could cause them another money.

Possibly not and also possibly yes. Though it might need to consider the government before it can be accepted by McDonalds because it might turn to be illegal if McDonalds accept it without the consideration of the government that the they are allowed to use bitcoin as medium of payment or any transaction. In addition if bitcoin is accepted by McDonalds it would be as great as we think, also if bitcoin is accepted by McDonalds it would be a big chance to McDonalds to improve they would make a big innovation about it like you do not need to go to the counter to order your food you only need to sit and wait just something like that. And also, if McDonalds accepts bitcoin I think that also some Fast food chain restaurant are more likely to do the same thing like McDonalds might do. According to your thread I do not think they will accept bitcoin by 2018 it will take more likely 2 to 3 years I guess.

That would be great with a lower fee or a free charge for transaction when using btc, as of now here in the Philippines the only possible to happen is to use our Php currency via php wallet address for sending and receiving without fee, the first thing we'll do is to convert btc to php on the same bitcoin platform we used.

I really don't see this happening. The transaction times alone just don't allow bitcoin transactions in such a fast paced restaurant.

I find it unusual because bitcoin is usually for making large payments, but who knows. Like nobody imagined that btc would get so far
