Don't give up merits bro. Just take some time to read and understand why this merit system is being imposed. This is one way of eliminating scammers who post nonsense in this forum. You can earn that merit if you post something that is informative and useful to this forum. Maybe not now but someday you will have it.

it seems I will also be more difficult, to become Full Member, I have to find 90 merit, and to find 1 merit course, very difficult
hopefully there is a new policy again about this merit

I had 11 merit and that was my difficult period. I post post quality posts and ideas for the forum but only a few posts are noticed. Because very few people take the time to consult ideas on a particular subject, getting merit is very difficult. I think the admins should reconsider this issue and come up with a better alternative.

Earning merit to rank up is quite difficult nowadays. Even if you post quality posts, people still keep their merits and doesnt give to those who deserve. However, this is the new policy and rule in bitcointalk forum and we must follow. I still believe that many would still give us merit points in order to rank up. There is no thread to give you merit but you just have to post quality ones.

Yes it is very difficult to rank up due to merit system, but it is the merit system that serves as deterrent to low quality posts making sure quality and meaningful posts are reflected to make community better. So you are right, let us do our best to make quality posts and who knows someone might give us merit for it.
Also there is no link that allows us to tap personalities to provide merits in exchange for something, but, quality posts to earn merits.
So again let's just do our best to make our community better and a successful one. Happy posting you guys

Earning merit is not that difficult if you really provide quality content to this forum and legends here would appreciate your work here for sure as they are the one who actually engage in reading the stuff.

For this you just have to follow few normal points like : Stay honest while typing the answer and dont bluff. You should not think about the earning money on the forum in the first place as you started your post with bounty campaign and all the stuff. But you can actually start working on the forum by engaging with it, with its content and also with the people here. The more relations you will build here the more appreciation you will receive as you will be gaining the trust from others fro your quality posts and services.

The merit system was introduced to improve the quality of the post which is a great step but there are some flaws in it and people who are in authority needs to look on that.There are many post that has great content but they don't get there merit points as people who can give those points can't look at every post on every thread and Many people don't know how to draw attention of merit source's. Soo my idea is to for every new thread there should be one merit giver or sources should have their own thread and people should post their content there also with the original thread. Soo that the deserving people can get a their merits.

I think there were no links for merits, posting quality and reliable post are the way to get merit. Its really hard.. It is also my problem here.

It's hard to get a merit, let alone to 10 merit, 1 merit I get it with difficulty. But if you have felt the merit get from others people event though 1, I am sure you will not complain. Me myself if making a post or thread is not fixated on merit, because it will be our burden. But I am always free to comment on a post or create a thread as I like, I never be careful when creating a thread or post but not out of post discussion. My little suggestion is, follow the rules but do not burden yourself, let it flow because someday you will get merit with your own way.

I already a member rank and i think gaining a 100 merits is so difficult achieved because of the language barrier and lack of knowledge about crypto and even constructing a very good post, they are meriting because they know the post its because the post is constructive, have sense, constructive, on topic and good writing.

everyone here become newbies first before they rank up by working hard and learning the cryptocurrency. You have to earn trust and contribute before you rank up. How can you prove your worth and able to earn good enough of bounties if you don't prove that you're worth it.

For now the the problem of junior member is the merit,for me its hard to get even your post is good and have quality,sometimes they see it but they didnt give merit.So if your rank is junior member i could advice that be patient and dont stop.

As the new Requirements develop by the forum, it is really a pain. Having a Rank up is very difficult now. You nee activity, post and merit to rank up. those merit system is subjective (IMO) anyone can give a merit to someone, but as i round on the forum few are giving about it. They say you need a quality post that can contribute to the forum. I also see that Joel jantsen are having some merit distribution campaign where he gives merit to newbies for finding an alt. In other hand, this merit system avoid those people who rank up by spamming and maintain the quality post of each members.

We're probably stuck with Jr. Member for long now. I also see posts that are worth a merit but no one is paying attention to share their merits. I'm not mad with the merit system but hopefully the admins will be considerate to have an alternative option for us to have atleast a Member status because some good bounty now requires a member rank to participate.

Its not that easy to received a merits from anyone but prove them that you can get it by posting a quality and constructive post that can benefit to everyone. This is sort of a real job in real world because we won't be able to be promoted if we don't work hard for it so as our positions gets high the salary will increase too same like the merit system here in forum.
