Yes, it is more difficult for members in the forum to rank up, but it is possible.

NO! This is unavoidable fact when new rules, new system launched, admin can not keep all things fairly, equally because we can turn back to the beginning of the forum. So merit system will bring magic effects because higher member ranks are not enough for future campaigns, which might require stricter rules to join.

Not all correct grammar is a constructive post there are some not relevant to the topic, yes dude if you doubt that our post is not good in English you may read it twice or in your using gadget, there's an auto-correction of spelling and grammar so you can easily to edit if ever have a mistake.

Earning merits? choose those section that having merit reward sometimes here in meta section they giving some merit or in the service section there's some thread there giving merit. Like pugman thread in service section and others.

Yes for merit you have to make quality posts. It's not really required to reply to every thread. Reply to the threads which are of your top interests and answer to the questions members asking in a simple and easy way.

At first glance about the merit requirements it just disappointing and so discouraging but I think, this is a challenge for a new comers like us either you Will continue to work in this forum or not. Anyway this is an open forum, some of them might satisfy with the content of your posts or in the other way that almost will be satisfied with it. Let me break your misconceptions one by one:

1) You mentioned that high rank members had imposed the merit system. Reality is that the admin made this decision.

2) There is no discrimination with any member. I saw that the admin made a thread before implementing the merit system asking for suggestions from all members regarding how to remove spam from the forum. What more do you want ? I think less than 40-50 members responded there and you were not one of them.

3) These threads complaining about the merit system are allowed here (unlike lot of other forums) and he even made some changes to the merit system.
