Hello guys, I am also using SMOS, started a week back and just loving it. I am having 8 x RX570 cards and all working very good.
Just a small suggestion to the SMOS admin, I would love to see that watt option as we can see in Hiveos, which shows total watts consumed by GPUs.

Im my case, HiveOS does not show exact power consumption. I`m sure the only way is wattmeter.

This is what I am referring.

This values are nor accurate.
It is still more less 30%.
I have those stats in mind to implement along with many more features, still i cannot say when exactly will it be as there are much more important features and much more wanted than this Smiley
But thanks for report.

Does anyone know how to use OhGodAnETHlargementPill with 1080 on smos?
I got normal work only with 1080TI. On 1080 I got errors during any miner start. Or any opportunity so start OhGodAnETHlargementPill only on 1080ti.

Hello Tytanick,

After update 1176, my rigs with 1060s became very unstable, restarting hundreds of times, i'm forced to shut them down at the moment.
I don't know if it's because of the update or other reason, because i didn't have enough time to throubleshoot.

P.S rigs with rx480s are super stable.

Edited: Here is what i receive on the console when rig is starting (picture is on link below):

https://imgur.com/fs0a6IS

After that Claymore miner is started, and as soon as i get card hashrates displayed - rig is rebooted instantly.
When i saw the message i removed any overclocking and the behavior is still the same.
Try tweaking 1 card and see if you can find its sweet spot?
Until the issue is resolved. Don't let your miners sleep.

Whats your configuration for the Rx480 cards on SMOS? Are you using the eth mod bios? I'm trying now to set up a rig of Rx 480 on SMOS, but it's seems it consumes more power than on Win10... On Win10 I have ~ 850 W but on SMOS it's ~1000W Sad

Thanks!

Fix the issue with OhGodAnETHlargementPill.
It is not working with 1080.
1080ti works fine, but 1080 cant start on any miner.

Hi all.
Can I assign OhGodAnETHlargementPill to only one rig, not for all 1080\1080ti?

Also I got a problem with 1080 after OhGodAnETHlargementPill  is ON.

Rig is rebooting due to system error. It could be caused by too much overclock/undervolt.

Any plans for SMOS to support a Bytom Miner --  NebuTech BTMiner?
Not right now.
Only if there will be more interested people.

Thanks ewbf, this was added to SMOS today but I am having a problem

ERROR: CUDA DRIVER VERSION IS INSUFFICIENT FOR CUDA RUNTIME VERSION
seems the issue is with EWBF
Please try downloading newest image from our website and see if that will fix problem.
If not then i guess that problem could be in EWBF miner.

Bminer 9.0 now will mine Bytom. Since Bminer is already routinely updated, perhaps 9.0 could be added on next SMOS update.

Nice!

I've moved 11 rigs to SMOS. Looks good so far. No complaints.

Will test it for another few days, then put my remaining rigs into server racks and install the OS.

Looking forward to the big update.

Any word on Ethlargement button fix?
I cannot implement fix right now as we have still untested few other things. So releasing this would compromise stability.
We need to wait little bit longer Sad
Also i think i need to rebuild this LAB system. Right now Ohgodapill uses default settings but there is also parameter revA which would execute pill with older boost schema that is suitable for older GPUs.
Also i am thinking about implementing that as option "per group" and yet doing that would only slow down this procedure.
Until monday we are stucked with other things we are curently doing.
Ther is little bigger update upcoming that we are working on Smiley

No problem, thank you for the update though, looking forward to more things to come! Cheesy
