Dear All,

I am new in this. I have 2 RX 580, I installed the mining OS, it is starting, but there is only one RX 580 mining...the other no.

Please send me what can I do. I attach the picture, maybe this could help you, the experienced ones!

Thank you very much for your fast reply!

hi guys, I have one rig with 8 x RX580 nitro+ and I am trying to use claymore 11 on SMOS (the latest version) whenever I start it one of the GPUs has 0.00 Mh/s and gets also an error:

WATCHDOG: GPU 7 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
WATCHDOG: GPU 7 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
Quit, please wait...

I need to mention that on claymore 10.6 all works ok.

any advices?

thanks in advance

Hello everyone!
I have lost 1 rig. It connects, gets preferences and works. But I cannot find it in rig list. I tried to switch off all rigs, then wait for 5 minutes, then switch on only that rig. It mines, but no definition on the dashboard. Please, any advice?

Just started playing around with smos over the last couple of days.

At first when I tried to ssh to the rigs, I was not able to get to them.  After a bit of digging, I realized that they all get the hostname 'simplerminer' and I have to ssh using ip.

Would it not make sense that the name assigned to each rig in the dashboard, is pushed down to /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts of each rig?

Not a biggie, but it makes ssh'ing into rigs a lot easier if I can use the rig name instead of the IP.

That minor gripe aside, I'm very impressed with how, well simple, it is to get up and running!

Keep up the good work!

Hi tytanick, do you plan to add the latest version of ethminer (0.13)? It work as well as Claymore for nvidia's gpus without the dev fee when mining ether.

Yes i will add it as there are few requests already.

PHI miner isnt on my list right now.

Is ethminer still on the to-do-list?

Would be great if you could add it - I got a way better performance than with claymore.

Thank You!
He told me he will update it 2 weeks ago but the owner is a lurker only care about $

Being a user since v1..... if you guys only knew how hard this dev worked on this project since 2016, thru the ups and downs, delays, brickbats from haters, nasty posts, hacking, bugs, AMD dramas etc.... I guess some people don't have the patience at all ...

Hi,

Please provide feedback on the DAGfix. Running 6x rx580 rig on SMOS and supposedly the DAGfix can be flashed on the riglist, but I don't see such option:

OS Version shows RX 1146
Thanks.

What about DTSM? Mainly on equihash coins at the moment.

Anyone else want an auto restart feature on miners? Would be super handy to be able to setup an autorestart on miners in case they stop taking on work overnight in SMOS. Still a semi regular occurrence.

This is built into claymore with -minspeed and/or -r 1

how to mine amd for simplemining cryptonight

Download the SMOS operating system first then flash it using the etcher apps. after that everything is self explanatory when you enter your SMOS account dashboard. Also you can use the HELP page of the SMOS website for deeper understanding on how it works.

For the GPU(s) how cold/hot u want them to be..if u set it to 80°C the fans will work at lower % if u set it to 60°C they will work at higher %
