I think that many people follow money because its the one thing that everybody needs in life. Money is what makes the world go round. Without money people would stop working and the whole country would fall apart. Sure there are some people who love their job and would still do it even when they are not getting paid. But the majority goes to work every day for the monthly salary. Honestly, who enjoys sitting 8-10 hours a day in a small office and stare at a computer screen? You are right that value should be more important than money, unfortunately that is not the case.
money can indeed be a motivation in increasing hard work. but money is not a good goal. but money is only used as a bridge to reach what you want. like buying a car. and money is the bridge between those dreams to us. So the purpose of our life in this world is to get happiness. keep that in mind. Money is only used as a tool to achieve happiness. And remember it's not money that gives happiness. but God is the one who gives happiness. can be through warmth in the family, health and so on. and one of the ways or tools to get happiness is with money. but even though we have a lot of money. but we can't be grateful for what we have. then that person will find it difficult to find happiness. so gratitude is the best way to get happiness.

It depends on the situation of the person, we can tell how to make it work for them but due to their situation, it can't happen. That's why keeping them educated and making them realize will open their minds on how to make it work correctly.

The problem is that we can't even do without money. We spend it everyday and we are always forced to works for it no matter the circumstances that we are. Money gives us what we want and added value to us which is the major reasons why big men with big investors have easy opportunities to control us that are working for them. Money is the reason why we would wake up in the morning, dress up, eat small food and off to the road. We do these almost 5 days a week just to get money to pay bills and take care of ourselves. I am still thinking because I can see that we are slowly becoming slave to money just to make ourselves uncomfortable just to get it t and fill up the gap of bills. The rich are so relaxed and want us to keep working to fill their portfolios.

I know many people including a millionaire usually talk like this, but I disagree with their opinions since there's no such money will follow you or don't try to chase money etc. Because the value you've making are to get more money, they're just act like they're very spend a lot effort to contribute for the world etc without any money, but when someone offer money to them, they wouldn't decline it.
All people do anything to get money, most people didn't improve themselves and but they're prefer to destroy other people who better than them.
Weirdly enough that’s not me, I improve myself for money and that’s how I did so far. Like for example I was asked to write, I wrote and I made money and I became a better writer by doing it over and over again. Then I was asked to make a website, well I wasn't asked, but someone was offering good money for it, and I did, and then I get paid so I learned how to do it better, then I was asked for other stuff and I learned those stuff and did it.All people do anything to get money, most people didn't improve themselves and but they're prefer to destroy other people who better than them.
Good thing is, youtube is filled with educational stuff and people decline to do it themselves, like 100$ worth of websites could be done via youtube videos in a day, and they just don't want to, and rather pay.

My opinion on this is very simple. First of all everyone who is still alive in this world all need money and that cannot be denied by anyone. Because every human being who wants to start a business in this world must always be based on money before he has the knowledge to run his business.
I think we still need to work hard and smart both in the current trend to earn money. There is no free money, there is no free way to earn money. If you need money to work for you (I am rephrasing OP statement, where they state money should follow us) then we need millions of dollars kept in the bank and we earning interest from the banks. I am pretty sure that the initial step still needs time, skills and energy to get millions of dollars. You see where we going with this? We circling around the fact that we need to work to earn money no matter what.

This is typical middle class people's mindset which I strongly oppose.
From the statement money can't buy everything we agreeing the fact we don't have enough money to buy everything so we are simply consoling ourselves that we are rich by heart but that isn't reality.
In finance everything comes into asset and liability factor even your family and there is no emotions behind it then only we can achieve the status rich, obviously hardwork and all is needed but having the right mindset is important but it should not be towards the money it should be towards the status we want to reach.

I think money is not a follower but it was the leader and we people are its followers. We do anything no matter how hard it was only to get a piece of them. That is how powerful they are but how can you say that money is poor/bad? I think that was wrong. It's not the fault of money but it's about the person if how they will use their money. If only they will use the money on proper things like buying a food and paying their bills then that is a good example but it is wrong if the person spend all if not most of their money on drugs, alcoholic drinks and gambling.

If you choose to chase after money all the days of your life, it can be very exhausting. Money is never enough so the chase may never end, no early retirements of any form, you will keep chasing till you wear out and most likely become poor if you don't seek a way to make money remain with you or come to you.
