what is your problem ? i am just saying my personal opinion that to ME they lose some reputation as they continue to be down. No big deal, i have no big money involved, if i would, this will be a problem to ME. The same would happen with any site i put money in, with all the scams, hacks specifically in the cripto currency world one have to be carefull with bitcoin investment.

You did offense moneypot, by writing such comment I think you are giving bad impression however you should know that moneypot staff wants their site to be up better than anyone here and they are doing their best currently on bringing everything back and normal

Kind of aggressive reaction. I'm just posting what I think about it as a user of MP.
Whole business of MP is online, so if it doesn't work properly, it is bad for the reputation.
And as cryptosamurai is saying, leaving customers in the dark is maybe the worst thing of all.

And try to be a bit more friendly, it isn't meant to be mean. It's just constructive criticism.

edit: So if MP doesn't care, then no hard feelings. Then I would just be disappointed in how MP operates, and don't use it anymore. That's how it works in real life. Wink

i pretty much think that the site will work again but it is clear that are loosing reputation, all the banners and promotional tools in the net are going nowhere ... no affiliate credits, no investor profits, no gamblers playing and the biggest failure; don't send an email to every user before server move telling this was going to happen to be prepared.

again, i still have hope that they will came back fully with all the money and such but it was not handled the best way or there is something that are not telling us. Changing the server is not easy, but well done and planned it should be unperceptable to the end user or with minimal downtime.

I didn't mean that. I believe money is safe and such, but maybe some technical issues are out of control. I mean, no updates for the past 12 hours about why things aren't working (yet).

If it is other website, i will be super panic but i have a lot of trust in moneypot. I have been with them even before the buy over and MP has been doing very well from where i first started trying them out. I believe MP will last long and will reach greater height. I am also eager to get some rbies to try it out.

Just a little update:

I went to bed last night while db was restoring, and woke up today, it is still on-goin, it is now on the bet history part at 06-09-2016 (timestamp) and around 260M betid.. MP had about 340M bets, this mean less than 80M bet records to go.

As for people that might be asking regarding balances and/or db records getting corrupt, I have backed up the database before move, so if the worst case scenario happens, database will still have what it had before maintenance. And as for the balances, as i've stated in the past, most of the balances are stored on a remote cold multi-sig wallet which can be seen here https://blockchain.info/address/3PnPzfEajzbVwiwHrwb4sSFU6TWTz8C4oT while the rest are either on the 'warm' multi-sig wallet and/or at our site's hot wallet.

Ah, yes, absolutely! Was confused because when v2 is rolled out, it does include a change to the RNG algorithm (including nonce-based bets for much faster processing, akin to sites like JD and the like).

But even with the v1, the new setup is far more efficient and faster so it's a win all-around!

thanks VegasCasinoBits. i have moneypot really in a very high spot to invest before this issue and i expect to still have it this way. As each casino under moneypot can have a different house edge, i am making my tests assuming a 0,5 house edge. I am getting this profit almost every day in moneypot. is the best casino investment i saw so far.
