I concur with that opinion.Before I was taking a section in relatively every airdrop,but something like 97% of them were simply trash.Only 3 % of them can be exchanged on some exchanges,mostly on the Etherdelta.So as of late I have been picking airdrops all the more closely,paying more consideration regarding the group and appraisals of the activities.
I thought so because there are so many airdrop i participated and receive nothing for months specially in Telegram which turns to be another airdrop channel like airdrop king !
Nowadays more and more airdrops are coming to participate but some of them is a lie. We must choose the airdrops who are more realistic and useful in the future.
in my opinion there are some airdrops that don't lie but usually scattered airdrops and having very many participants will make the manager lazy to give gifts because the participants are too many and will need a lot of energy to overcome them all.
There's also something need to be considered when there's just too many airdrop participant which is gas fee, it's usually take a big amount of them just to pay to distribute the whole airdrop, even worse when network is congested or crowded and as a result is a higher gas fee, by that the developer left with 2 option:1. delay the airdrop 2. sacrificing their funds to pay fee.

yes, there are many airdrop is scam. there are not give what they promised, its like they just gather much people as they can for their community.
but, there is some ico that really give you coin, but sometimes that is no price, no exchanger.
the best airdrop is when some ico already reach what they targeted than they give coin (airdrop) to attrack more people.

Yes, I agree. A lot of airdrops nowadays are lies. Some people use it to their own advantage to milk money. But still, even though there are a lot of airdrops that are lies, we should still believe there are some projects that have the vision.

maybe yes there is a lot of airdrop that is not worth to put an effort joining them but not all project are lie like what you said, there is some project is a legit one you need to study further about the new projects that is emerging now. i am happy that i find good project with the help of my previous friends project and they all seems legit, i can guaranteed that they are good and legit but they all doing great and hoping it was

essentially we should be better able to sort by looking at all information related to the project before registering
I agree, indeed Airdrop is not so convincing and may waste our time if we follow it. do not let our time only for some kind of fraud or lie, and indeed only a few that are certain and can provide benefits. to better keep on following the bounty campaign, investing so that everything is fine.
yes you are right, nowadays there are a lot of airdrop scams and only waste time if we join them, I really hate the current airdrop and I don't join airdrop anymore
IMO it is just because most airdrop nowadays are targeting big user, so it seems like the airdrop price are so tiny because of the airdrop pool is just a little bit percentage & the participants are huge.
I have not participated in airdrop for a long time, and I do not advise others. It's a waste of your time .

Yes, there are airdrops that are not that real. They will just give you a coin without any value after a long months of waiting. It is also happening in bounty-signature campaign, there are scam ico.

I think that there is nothing wrong with the airdrop. You get tokens for free. If in the future the price of the token grows x1000, you will be rich
