Big news everyone.
Renault officially announced that they f1 engine program will end in 2025.

It is expected that Alpine in 2026 will take Mercedes power unity from 2026.
The building where they are doing motors right now will be changed in one for building roads car projects.

This step is also very surprising to me, that Renault (Alpine) are now giving up engine production before the new regulations. Maybe they are not satisfied with the current development or maybe Renault has to make big savings, at the moment many car manufacturers have problems and it can easily be the case that savings are made in racing first. The next two years will be very exciting years for the automotive industry in Europe.

The fight for the MotoGP world title this season will still be very exciting in the five remaining races in this season. Currently Martin is still leading the championship with a gap of 21 points, but the chances for Bastianini and Marquez are actually still there even though they are very thin considering that Martin and Bagnaia's strengths are still quite a lot. So Bagnaia and Martin still have to be wary of Bastianini and Marquez in the five remaining races this season even though both of them did not get points in the full race in Mandalika yesterday.

i doubt that bastianini and marquez can win the world title with the points they have now. it is true that they have a chance, but only if they win every race, which is very unlikely. so now people are more focused on martin and bagnaia because the two riders are only 21 points apart which is not too far. if pecco can get more points in the remaining races than martin, it is impossible for him to win the world title. it is just a matter of strategy and how pecco can use all his opportunities on the track to get his best performance.

I've just noticed that we have 1 month of break?
What happend? did they remove 1 gp at start of the season?

No way that we have a longer break here than the summer one.
Yeah there is another long break. Maybe they wanted to give more space to drivers and teams to take a breath. I mean because of having two more races than the previous season.  Smiley  There are no races removed in this season for now. I don't feel like it will happen either unless there is an usual incident like the one in Imola in the previous season.

Now the season ends by December 8, with the Abu Dhabi GP. Not bad thinking there is going to be less time left for the new season.  Tongue  I assume 2025 season would also start by early March? I hope so at least.
Which was something that almost all of the teams was against, not the more races part which they do not like anyways, but the gap and the closeness of each season. Normally, they need some time between seasons to work on the new car, and lesser time means lesser work on the new car, they can make parts but they can't test it, not right now anyways.

This is why I think it wasn't something they wanted to have this another gap, it is not that easy. Most of the gap reasons is logistical, because these teams fly stuff all around the world like crazy, and that means sometimes there is a backlog and they just handle with whatever, but with a month long break, you can literally just send everything to headquarters, sort it and then get them ready once again for DHL to bring. That's a very important and tough job, and they need some breaks for all of those. I know that it is going to take some time, but it is going to be something that is not going to be that easy for them next season.

Martin has won today confidently and deservedly, but since Marc Marquez and Bastianini have dropped out, it is now a pure duel for the world title, I don't think the two still have a chance. In any case, the battle for the world title remains exciting.

Leclerc technically had a really good opportunity in Singapore but he messed it up.  Sad  Ferrari looked really fast until qualifying session as you can remember.

These are also last chances for Ferrari to get ahead in constructor championship.  I know there are still 6 more races to go but they might not catch this kind of chances all the time. We don't know how McLaren and Red Bull will return from this break.

Ricciardo was really sad after finishing his last race in F1. He is being replaced with Lawson and we don't know if we will see him here again. He is 35 years old and I can't say he is competitive anymore. I think he won't come back as long as he doesn't get a special job offer from any team in the future.

Ferrari was indeed fast in qualify, they could fought for the pole position agains Lando Norris for sure.
In race it was another story tho, they probably have his pace but only being behind him was another story, for pressure on driver for example.
As we saw Norris is a driver who does little mistakes here and there, and under pressure he could did more mistakes.

For now Max and RBR are struggling to compete on par with McLaren, either because they are getting slower or McLaren is getting faster, but indeed after Newey and some of his key people left, RBR had a bit of a problem with their car's performance, and now they are only relying on Max and their strategy on how they can take various opportunities in the race. Maybe in the US race later Norris has a bigger chance, but we can't ignore the possibility that other drivers also have a chance to get a podium, maybe Max, Charles, or Piastri, or other drivers.

Martin once again proven his strenght with Bagnaia limiting the damage.
Marquez probably after the retiremtn of today he needs to give up the hope for an incredibly comeback in the fight for winning the title.

It was a really tense race because out of 21 riders who took part in today's race at the Mandalika circuit in Indonesia, only 12 riders were able to finish. Marc Marquez, who was busy fighting with Diggia and Bagnaia, had to end his race because his engine exploded, while the others experienced a series of crashes and also crashed by themselves. This was really beyond many people's expectations because the weather was also very supportive for the race, but things like crashes were indeed unavoidable for some riders who took part in today's race. Congratulations to Jorge Martin who has successfully won the first podium after starting the race in first place today.

There are still 3 more weeks to go for the next race in the US. It is going to be a race weekend with sprint too. I hope Norris gains a good advantage over Verstappen there.

I have seen this image now.

It looks like there is a really fierce rivalry among Verstappen - Norris - Leclerc trio on the street tracks.  Smiley  We know Perez also as a really capable driver on the streets. However he is just not in his good old days anymore.

I feel like the winner of this rivalry would be Norris. Because Verstappen is already struggling to keep up with him. If we don't see a big change after this break, it would be the case most probably.

Damn I missed the schedule for the Sprint race so I missed the race, I forgot that the race in Mandalika is on 2PM in our timezone LOL.
I had to post about the result of the sprint race previously because the post I made before was after the sprint race but since I missed the schedule then I wrote about the Q2 result only LOL.
Need to watch the replay of the sprint race, but it is good to see that Marquez could take the 3rd position but bad for Martin who crashed and missed some points while Pecco who is the closest competitor got the best point in the sprint race.
I also almost missed it today because of the broadcast time and I think tomorrow the race will also start at the same time which is 2 pm. I hope the weather can stay good for tomorrow so I can watch a fiercer competition from all the riders because the Mandalika circuit also has a more technical braking level so every rider must be smarter in driving their motorbikes so as not to fall on the track. Now the points gap between Bagnaia and Martin is only 12 and Bastianini has also returned to third position, shifting Marquez to fourth position and both are only 3 points apart, but both are still quite a distance from the current leader of the standings, namely Martin.

The MotoGP calendar for next season has been released by the organizers and I don't see any Indian circuit in it, but before that, MotoGP itself has also confirmed through news that the Indian circuit will return to the calendar in 2026.

I really like the calendar next year. Brno is back and I'll definitely be there and I'll probably be at a race in Asia. Maybe also at the new track in Hungary, so at least 3 races next season.

Today in the sprint race it was the other way round, Martin crashed and Bagnaia won, this season will definitely remain exciting.

The most surprising result for me is to see Johan Zarco who can get the 7th after he was the fastest rider at Q1 with his RC213V, looks like a good improvement made by Honda especially for Johan Zarco.
Bad luck for Marc Marquez as he crashed twice during Q2 which made him unable to get the best time and starting grid for today's Sprint Race and tomorrow main race.
Seems that many riders were experiencing their bike today which make them crashed such as the younger Marquez, Enea, Aleix, etc.
Will we see many crashes in the Sprint race and main race as well?
Crashes in today's Sprint Race were only experienced by three riders and the most painful one was the crash experienced by Jorge Martin who was in first position. But he crashed on the first lap which made him drop down and rank 10th in today's Sprint because of that, while Marquez who started the Sprint from 12th position successfully got third position in today's Sprint with the winner being Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini in second position. Hopefully no one will have an accident tomorrow and the Race can run smoothly enough.

Comic news.

Liam Lawson will take the place of Riccardo and as gift he will already have 10 positions penalty.
The penalty will be for engine swap and this is why he will take so many positions.

He should be valid for the next sprint race.
