I think that Ford is entering only to increase sales.

All of them have the same purpose.

F1 for the big giant is only a big NOT so expensive marketing tool now, with a salary cap of around 150m USD $ they can pay a fair amount of money for incredibly cheap marketing. (140m for them are nothing with the return they have)

F1 is ATM one of the biggest if not the biggest increase in the TV watched hour in the world...

Small rumor with F1.

The Britan team Hitech GP aims to enter in F1 too in 2026, they are already talking with Mclaren.

It's quite interesting to see teams like Ford, Porsche, Honda, Hyundai, and several other teams interested in being able to enter F1 as an official team and compete with other teams. Their interest in getting into F1 and competing with other teams makes F1 in the coming season even more exciting. Let's just see how in the future these teams will enter the F1 circuit and compete, I'm really looking forward to what surprises they will present.

I think that Ford is entering only to increase sales which have seen drastic downsize to their sales and they are not that interested in F1 as a sport but that is just my opinion based on all the years that I have followed F1 which are a lot,I never saw any real interest from Ford. When it comes to Porsche it is only natural for them as they mostly make sport cars while Honda is already champions with Redbull but may be they want to win all by themselves as they have the capacity to do so if they want. For Hyundai it must be about technology as their sales are up to the roof from their electric cars, they are dominating European markets.

Having some sort of break during these travels does give teams to recover all the drama and calm everyone down. Perez might become the second coming of Bottas, and he is just helping his teammate to win titles back to back, and that is not the type of legacy most people want to leave in the sport when they retire.

However, he is not good enough to win titles himself, he can't be given a car like that when there are better drivers all around, so that's all he could get, and he should be happy that at least he is in a car that is doing as well as he could drive and wins some races and constantly on the podium, so he has a good chance to end with a good record.

Verstappen is highly favoured to win the Australian Grand Prix just as he is for every race of course.
With the current form of Red Bull and Verstappen, as well as Perez, they are the favourites at every Grand Prix, although Verstappen is still ahead of Perez.

I just remembered....
Last year reliability issues, accidents, a grid penalty and disastrous timing performance by the entire team meant Aston Martin had a dismal weekend.

However, I believe that this year things could be very different... after taking two podiums in a row in the first two races of the season, Aston Martin is in a good mood to win the Australian GP, Fernando Alonso just needs a wobble from Red Bull to win the first race after his return to F1, or maybe even that is not necessary and he manages to take the top spot on the podium with the merit of his skills.

But I'm not really giving my tip for Sunday yet, I'm still a bit undecided, Ferrari were very strong at this circuit last year, Alsonso could also be good for a surprise, my tip will be spontaneous on Friday Central European Time 🤔.

As long as there is no problem on Red Bull side I don't see any driver who can stop Verstappen from finishing this Grand Prix as the first. There is a huge gap between Red Bull and the other teams' cars. Indeed even Perez can't compete hard with Verstappen. I mean I know Perez won the latest race but that was because of Verstappen's having a problem with his car. Otherwise Verstappen was catching up with Perez really fast and he could have overtaken Perez easily soon. I just wish to see Leclerc being on podium this time. Ferrari couldn't make a good start.

Finally, the FIM MotoGP Stewards made revisions back to the double Long Lap Penalty penalty given to Marc Marquez from what was previously only intended for the Argentine MotoGp race, but yesterday the Stewards made another revision for this where the double Long Lap Penalty penalty for Marc Marquez will apply when he appears again in the next race or when Marc Marquez starts to be fit again to take part in the next race. What is clear is that wherever the race will be, Marc Marquez will have to serve the double Long Lap Penalty when he returns to the race. It's not going to be an easy season for Marquez, it looks like it's going to be a difficult season for some riders already after the first race, the Yamaha and the Honda aren't really working, the Honda is hard to control and the Yamaha is just slow.

On top of that we are already missing four riders in Argentina, and that is after only one race. But the scoring is a bit strange, after only one race Bagnaia already has 37 points, when you are a contender for the championship and you crash in a double race it is hard to make up the points.

Yes, just starting and new injuries are coming. It seems that Honda signed Marquez only to provide treatment for his injury. If I'm not mistaken, he has been injured more than five times.
Regarding points, the existence of a sprint race does seem a bit anek. But for drivers who are able to compete it really helps to get points. Indeed, if you look at it, there will be a lot of points difference in the race. But it's a new format that provides greater opportunities to compete for other drivers. I still think Ducati will still be successful this season.

It is early but it looks like that. The fact in difference on speeds on both Motos is over 10 km/h in favor of Ducati and 10 km/h more for a talented rider makes an enormous difference when on track and boost his confidence to great levels. We still have to wait for a couple of more races and if Marquez is not able to be back in fight and win some races then the season is most likely over and it will again be a Ducati season which compared to how long Honda and Yahama have dominated the MotoGP I think winning again for Ducati is a great achievement.

Only the first series, Marquez actually looked quite competitive before falling. Unfortunately he had to be injured again and missed the Argentina series. If I'm not mistaken, the finger is broken. This is bad because so far only Marquez can control the Honda.

As for Yamaha, it is true that they did not show good development. Maybe Quartararo will suffer this season because they didn't develop the bike seriously. What's not wrong with Ducati, they are still very strong. Bagnaia even has a fairly wide gap with Vinaless. But it is very interesting, for points because there is a sprint race that is still very influential in the race for the championship at the end of the season.

The F1 drivers have a little rest until the next Grand Prix is driven. Admittedly, it's too early to draw any conclusions, but I think the only conclusion we can draw is the fact that Mercedes still hasn't got things right and won't play any part in the battle for the championship. Disappointing, after last season you would expect Mercedes to come up with a faster car, but the gap et red Bull only seems to have widened. Nice for the racing fans to see that Alonso is back and having a good time.

Seeing the performance of red bull is like they are racing in a different league, they are fast and have very few problems, in my opinion it will be quite difficult for Mercedes and other teams to be able to beat the performance of Red Bull at this time. But there are still 21 races to go, we don't know what the future holds, and if Mercedes can come up with another strategy and improve their performance it could be that they beat Red Bull, but the chances of that are very slim.

I don't think so.
He seems not to be the old Marquez anymore after the injured.

Also, the season is very long and I believe that neither he knows if he will race all the GP this year for his situation and if he keeps crashing the situation will not improve for sure.
A very promising start to the season for Bagnaia. A bad start for Marquez and at first I hoped hopefully there would be no injuries on his body. But it turned out that his finger was broken. It is likely to be absent for the second series in Argentina.
I don't understand a former rider like Marquez seems to have bad luck. Actually, the start is pretty good. But I saw the incident, he just couldn't wait. He was too fast in the corner, he took the inside but Miguel Oliveira walked into the corner.

I wish the Australia GP was this week but there is nothing to do about it. But still there is not much time left indeed. I wonder what kind of a podium we will see this time. Because for two race weeks we have seen nearly the same podium consisting of Verstappen, Perez and Alonso. Red Bull drivers would of course be on podium most of the time with that very fast car.

But Alonso is a big surprise this season. Aston Martin have made a great progress and Alonso is just benefiting from this situation as much as possible. I wonder if he can be on podium for the third time.
It is one of the all time hardest scheduling for a sport ever. They have basically a schedule that goes around the logistics of it. Like for example they have one at Miami, and then back to Europe, then back to Texas, you think they move everything from Europe to Miami to Europe to Texas?

Of course not, most things that matters stays, and moves from Europe to other European city, while they go to Miami, new things face them at Miami, then they go to Europe so all things moved, and when they go to Texas all things moved from Miami to Texas. So they have double sets, which allows them to move around this much, but it requires weekends to be separated most of the time so they can handle the logistics.

MotoGP has only run one series, three riders have been hospitalized and are absent from the next series. They were Pol Espargaro who had an accident in the practice session before the MotoGP MotoGP qualification started and also the Enea Bastianini incident in the Sprint Race and the Marc Marquez incident in yesterday's race which resulted in him being declared unfit and given a double long lap penalty by the FIM MotoGP Stewards. But I'm currently looking into whether the penalty will be revoked by the FIM MotoGP Stewards because considering that Marc Marquez will not be in the next race which will take place in Argentina this weekend?

The last Australian GP in F1 ended up by Leclerc's victory by a 20-second gap with Perez. It was a race like a nightmare for Verstappen as he retired from the race.

But this time I don't think Leclerc has a big chance at all against Verstappen. As long as Red Bull don't have any issue with their car Verstappen should just be comfortable with getting a win at the end. The time gap with his closest rival in the race would even be quite high also. Because there is literally no driver on the grid who can fight with Verstappen at the same level. Perez is the only driver who can as they have the same cars. However even he can't compete hard with him in normal conditions.

One week left until Australia gp. I think this is going to be one of the most obvious Red Bull races ever, it's a race where even the slightest bad move ends up having a big difference, considering they are already fast, if they make no mistakes and run on track, no sand parts, no out of track positions, just pure racing line all day, then there will be even more people who make a mistake and they may end up lapping half of the grid with the pace they have.

I am not saying that it will happen, there is a chance for it to happen but on the same logic, we could have red bull drivers make mistakes and other drivers catching up thanks to that. However, I really doubt Max would make a mistake, he is just too good.

No signs of Verstappen getting into a rut or having an off day yet so far, so expecting one this early in the season is kinda premature.  Wait for around the middle of the season and when the other teams have made some improvements for their cars.  But if you have some conviction that the Australian GP is that race, I think Perez has some value at 5.25.  Alonso is at 9.50, Leclerc at 19 and Hamilton at 26.

The books expect it to be all Verstappen tho at 1.35.  I think the line is ridiculous.  Lol.

Not only a mistake, that was actually quite bad and the penalty with a double long lap penalty is very mild, Marquez should not complain about that.

If Bagnaia and Ducati continue like this it could be a rather boring season, it doesn't look like Honda and Yamaha have made much progress over the winter.
