Yes it's so sorry, the summer break is very long. But two good things, i can look live  Grin after the break at Austria the MotoGP grand Prix and Rossi will told his future.

Yes, I heard that Rossi would give his decision after this break. I don't know where Rosi is at the moment, but if you look at his performances I think he will retire soon. If he wants to spend the rest of the season then I think it's normal. But if he still wants to race next season I don't think it's a good solution. What is your opinion?

It's very hard to say, the bike is not working as well as Rossi would like at the moment. The Yamaha works continuously only with Fabio, with everyone else it is not optimal. If Vinales had not left Yamaha, I would have said Rossi is 100% quitting, but now I think Yamaha will see if they can keep Rossi another year and hire a young rider at Petronas next to Rossi and they will also promise updates. But I myself don't think it's because of Yamaha but because of Rossi himself.

But Yamaha (Petronas) will not dare to start the season with 2 new drivers, Morbidelli comes to the factory team.

As everyone expected, too easy for Verstappen. There is no-one to challenge him, unless Mercedes can come up with some big improvements to their car very quickly... but they've said they're focusing on next year's car, which suggests that this year's title race may be as good as over already. But let's see, it's a different track next time out, and maybe Mercedes can come up with something.

If Mercedes is focusing on next year car this means that now they are not fighting seriously during this year.Right now the 32 points advantage is really big,I confused with 26 points but I forgot that Lewis dropped from 2nd to 4th.

I think the fact that Mercedes signed early the contract to Lewis means they still will focus for this year season and we all need that.

It was recently mentioned that no more updates should come, but has already been revoked. I not think that Mercedes will give up the title without a fight and will also bring one or the other update, Mercedes is not used for years that they do not have the best and fastest car.

It's a boring weekend this month without the MotoGp series. The gap is far enough. Almost 1 month more. The next series is at the Red Bull Ring on August 8th. This circuit was only active again in 2016. Seeing the character of this circuit a lot of straight tracks, so I think this is an opportunity for Ducati and KTM to excel. They have fast motors.

Mercedes just wanted clarity in the future and did not want to delay the signing of the contract again. Hamilton and Mercedes continue to pay for their monstrous mistake in Baku, and then Norris intervened, who restrained Hamilton for a long time, helped to increase the gap from Verstappen and damage to the car, which did not even allow him to keep a place in the top three. In any case, Mercedes will continue to fight for the title this season, but with each past race the gap increases and the chances of winning the title decrease accordingly. As for next year, everything is vague and it seems that with the change of technical regulations, the number of teams claiming the title may clearly be more than two.

^  Was it really Perez’s fault tho?  I think it was 50/50.  He was racing...  The stewards might have gotten it wrong the first time and to be consistent, went along with it again the second time.  IMHO..  Dunno..

it is.
The rule it is clear, if an opponent has 50%(I think) of the car next to you, you need to leave him the space in the track, not in the grass or sand.

In this race, we have less asphalt in the turn so they were more severe with this rule.
If you are doing not you are at the fault.

So easy race for Verstappen he even won with an extra not needed pit stop done to score the fastest lap and get 1 extra point.
Perez what a dumbass making the same move 2 times for 2 penalties versus Leclerc.

Good race for Norris too and Russell, these 2 kids will have a bright future.

Yeah todays race seemed really easy for Verstappen in an interview after the race Helmut Marko from red bull even said that Verstappen did not have to go close to his limits over the entire race. He was able to build up a lead of almost 30 seconds and save his tyres at the same time. If the situation in Silverstone will be the same as in the last 3 races then i think that Mercedes will probably not manage to get on the same level than Red Bull in this season.
The second move of Perez vs Leclerc was totally fair though in my opinion so maybe the first penalty was justified but the second one definitely not. Everyone of the officials said the same in the interviews after the race. LeClerc can not just drive into a corner on the outside and expect the other driver to make room for him so he can overtake. The one who is inside usually "owns" the corner.

Easy start - finish victory for Verstappen. The pit stop at Verstappen was in retrospect quite good the rear tire had a slot / damage. Unfortunately Russell did not score again, but he gets the best out of the car, hopefully Russell drives next year in a better car.

What an easy win for Verstappen - he was leading from start until finish, and he got fastest lap. And now his lead against Hamilton becomes significant and he can't be reached in one race.
Another impressive race for Norris - what a season for him so far.
Perez - getting penalty for same thing twice in a race, but P6 after all isn't bad. Tsunoda got penalty twice too today.
And poor Russel - he was so close to reach points, but again, race didn't ended well for him.

Too bad that Leclerc didn't catch up to 10 sec margin on Perez, Ricciardo put up a good fight to keep him out but he could also catch up with Perez,
Checo had a some dick moves on Charles today and he was more likely the most hated driver today as with lando he could’ve waited but got too greedy. With Charles he was passed but didn’t leave any space for the second time already knowing he would have a penalty but not caring, cause that's how they used to race back in the day.

Not sure what went on with the Aston Martins who seemed to be ok slapping on the hard tires and undercutting everybody.  Maybe they should’ve gone for the mediums and the two stop?

Great to see Norris on the podium again.

And about Russell going to Merc next year, wouldn’t that create another scenario like Hamilton vs Rosberg again?  Toto Wolff will def avoid something like that happening again.  I’ll be surprised of they give seat no. 2 to somebody as good and hungry like Russell.

Edit:  And nice to see Alonso not being the salty of all salt like he used to be.  Cheesy

Another win for Max Verstappen and Redbull Honda Racing.Honda is keeping up with Mercedes and fully dominating these last 4-5 races. The Championship is wide open with just 26 points difference between the leader Max Verstappen and the follower this time,Lewis Hamilton.Even if Max Verstappen crashes in a race he would be still at equal points with Hamilton,if Hamilton won that race and the fastest lap of the race too. That means we have a good looking F1 season so far this year.
Actually after Max Verstappen winning the Austrian Grand Prix his Formula One world championship lead became now 32 points over Lewis Hamilton. as Mercedes' Hamilton finished fourth, well behind Verstappen, with team mate Valtteri Bottas second ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris.

Red Bull really dominating this season just like last week Verstappen took the lead and never let it go as now Red Bull scored its fifth consecutive victory.
Hamilton could have finished 2nds but his dammage in the back of his car made him lose grip and speed so Bottas was allowed to overtake him about 20 laps before the race finished and Lando got 3rd spot from Hamilton few laps after bottas.

Unless he makes a stupid mistake or there is a problem with the normally perfect Red Bull pit stop, then Verstappen will lead from start to finish without being challenged.

Just had a look at the weather forecast for Spielberg in Austria. In the afternoon we have a little chance of rain according to the prediction Cool
Changes in the weather conditions during the race always provide some more excitement. Fingers crossed!

This time Mercedes seems to have even bigger disadvantage. I can't wait to see the race!

The ever-increasing gap between Mercedes and Red Bull makes me much less interested in the race. We got bored sometimes over the last years when a race was just a Mercedes procession... a change is welcome, but this is too far. Unless he makes a stupid mistake or there is a problem with the normally perfect Red Bull pit stop, then Verstappen will lead from start to finish without being challenged. I really hope that at some point we can have a season where it's unclear which team has the best car, and there is real competition. All hopes on the rule changes next year...

The qualifying of the Austrian GP was just insane. Because George Russell and Williams managed to qualify for Q3 for the first time. And Russell is going to start at the 8th position. I'm so excited to see him race tomorrow. I hope that he doesn't get unlucky in the race also and he can finish in top 10. I know that it's really hard but he may really do it this time.

Verstappen didn't surprise anyone and took the pole position. But it was a great day for Lando Norris. He was nearly capturing the pole position but he is going to start as the 2nd. There was only 0:00.048 time difference between him and Verstappen. And Perez managed to take the 3rd spot which is really important for the team. This time Mercedes seems to have even bigger disadvantage. I can't wait to see the race!
