There are some rumours like Turkish GP is back on Oct 1-3. I was sad to hear that it was cancelled some time ago. If this news is true, then it will be really delightful to watch. Turkish GP is one of the special and hardest races.

Well it's not a rumour anymore. It's now official announched: https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.breaking-turkish-grand-prix-to-rejoin-2021-formula-1-calendar.7JsDzHsgxu26IxaOmPVnOX.html

It looks like Rossi will end his career this year, it is not fixed yet but he will decide after Assen in the summer break. In any case, his team will ride with Ducati next year and, unlike Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Saud, he can't imagine riding for his own team on the Ducati.

Marq should be more realistic with his current position and condition, what he need to do is not chasing Quartararo.
HE should be focusing to bring back his condition to be 100% fit so he can be competitive again next season.

I'm not sure if Marquez will be able to play stable after the German GP. If you look at the statistics, he is the record holder on the German circuit. So to catch up to Quartararo points or even world champions is kind of hard. But at least this result is enough to make fans happy because Marquez was able to break the egg for 1st place for the first time this season. For the next series Assen even though this circuit belongs to Rossi the same as Germany has Marquez but the lap record is still held by Marquez with 1:33,617.

Ferrari has officially stopped the progress of the SF21 car, the car of this year.
Since they have the budget cap, they will pay the money needed to end the season but they will save all the money possible on the next year's car.

This can be a big boost since RedBull and Mercedes are gonna spend all the money they have since it is so tight the difference between cars.
Yup.  It def showed.  Lol.  It would be interesting from a betting perspective cos I think there could be some betting markets that could give Vettel and Stroll’s lines some value.  Of course that’s if the books haven’t adjusted yet.

Anyway can’t wait for the next two races then it’s at Silver Stone for the sprint races!  Smiley
This type of thing makes us realize how much money means in F1, if ferrari could have both spent for this year plus spent for next year they could have finished third behind Mercedes and Red Bull, if they stop now that means there is a chance McLaren could take an easy lead and become the third (which they are already with nearly 16 point difference) at the end of the season, all because Ferrari do not have enough money.

However this could also mean that if they do this, and improve their car for next year, and actually manage to do that (and not fail again) that means there is a good chance they could win some races next year and have a clear third place, because we all know Mercedes and Red Bull is not stopping for the year and that means Ferrari will have an advantage. This is a risk they are taking, "maybe" be third this year, or once again "maybe" be third next year depending on if they can actually improve or not.

Under the new specs and the cap on spending, I think anything is possible.  I would say watch Williams’ development.  They recently acquired some good people after the take over from the Williams family...  I’d hate to see Russel leave now.  But if he does transfer to Merc then I think it’s gonna be reeeaally good for Williams to get Bottas back.

A lot is possible with the new rules, so I hope that Williams (traditional team) can catch up again in midfield, but more isn't probably possible. But why should Williams sign Bottas, what makes him valuable to Williams? Wouldn't a young driver from the Mercedes Academy be better?

Bottas has lots of experience at Merc, a top team.  That would def be very valuable in developing Williams and have their team level up with the midfield.  Partner him with a young prospect and they’re good to go.

Important point for marquez in germany. At least there is still a chance for him to be world champion although I think it is difficult. There are still 14 races to go, chasing Quartararo points is not impossible.

Agree with you, German circuit is Marquez's mainstay, it isn't standard for the next race he gets the same. Quartararo on fire, he gets unfortunately bad starting in Germany, but in the step, he can still on the podium even though in 3rd place.

I read bad news about Morbidelli missing DutchGP because he got injured when training circuit. Now, he is undergoing a medical assessment for recovery of his left knee.

This decision by Ferrari to halt progress on upgrading its car this year is unfortunate, because Leclair's pole position raised some hopes that Ferrari could make some competition with Mercedes and Red Bull as early as this season. It is clear that participation in Formula 1 is not a cheap pleasure, but before that, the parent concern always found the opportunity to find the necessary funds at the level of top teams. However, the absolute majority of teams are looking forward to changes in the technical regulations for the next year, and perhaps such a decision will really make a qualitative leap for the next season.
To be fair they didn't look like they were doing that well even before the decision, they didn't look like they had a chance, sure Lerclerc had a pole position and all but it was all about Max vs Lewis all year and that is still going on. This will only keep them from the third spot in constructors and that's it, they are nowhere at the top, and with this decision their not going to be even in the top three neither unless they get real lucky.

Ferrari is not a good team anymore, they used to be good but they are just not there anymore at all, which means it is really a shame to see them like this but it is just the reality that we have to accept. Doesn't matter if next year will be a big change or not, when the difference between cars is this big, I doubt that Mercedes or Red Bull will lose to a team like Ferrari, they will still be at the top next year as well.

14 or 13? Afaik there are 21 races only this year, and latest race in Sachsenring was the 8th. CMIIW
Agree that it is not impossible but the chance is too low for Marquez if we see how Quartararo's form this season.
Their gap is 90 points which is too big to chase, Marquez needs to win all the remaining races if he want to the the champion.
But that's not enough, even if Marq win all the remaining races, he will not be the Champion if Quartararo is behind him in all the remaining races.
Marq should be more realistic with his current position and condition, what he need to do is not chasing Quartararo.

Surprise also comes from KTM where Miguel Oliveira finished 2nd (start 5th) and Brad Binder finished 4th (start 13th)
That's right, I think Yamaha with Quartararo will get stronger and win in Germany. But it seems Marquez extends his winning record in Germany.

KTM and Ducati are what I consider to be growing quite rapidly with their bikes. Although KTM can't be as stable as Ducati but this is good progress for the future. As for ducati, he is strong on the track, not many corners, I think is a golden opportunity, of course supported by the great skill of Binder. So far Binder is good he should be wary of.

KTM has improved enormously, the new frame has paid off, and the KTMs have been very competitive since the new frame. At the beginning of the season it looked completely different and went backwards like the Yamahas in Germany, where only Fabio gets along really well.

Anyway can’t wait for the next two races then it’s at Silver Stone for the sprint races!  Smiley

The following 2 races will be done in Austria, the track is boring but at least they can overtake there.
Also expecting a small difference since the lap time is low around 65 seconds if I can remember.

One can only hope that there will be a rain race. Unfortunately, it doesn't work counter-clockwise because of 2 or 3 curves.

Sachsenring are a Marc Marquec (Honda) land, like his living room like Nadal at French Open.

I am hoping for a good performance from Rossi in Assen (which is usually one of his best tracks) and if he continues, I think the result in Assen will be very important.

Great record, I think it will continue. Marquez needs moments like this, this can pump his spirit and mentality.
Although I'm not sure in the future he will be able to reach the podium again, he needs to adapt again.
About Rossi I'm not sure he will win, it's not about home but Rossi is too old, maybe he's in the top 10 at Assen it's good.

Yes, Marc needs something like that to get back, but physically he's just not where he needs to be the old. At Rossi it is true that he will no longer compete for the World Championship or for one or more victories, but I definitely trust him a podium (it would be the 200th) with a little luck and full confidence in the motorcycle. I don't think it's just only the age, look at the other Yamaha pilots, only Fabio can handle it really well at the moment, but Rossi is also making progress with the current bike and is getting some trust.
