Hamilton won again of course

Not really 'of course' though, surely? Mercedes did look to have a slightly faster car this time around, but it's the first time this season, and the gap was very narrow. Max was fairly close for the whole race. The way it's going, it looks like who has the best car might go back and forth between Mercedes and Red Bull depending on the specific demands of each track.

The Race is over. Sadly not many exciting moments this weekend. Hamilton won again of course and it seemed that he still had some reserves left if verstappen would have come closer. A shame that bottas could not keep up with hamilton and verstappen again. That is kinda sad, for him but also for the whole competition because now it's already clear again after 3 races that bottas will have to work for hamilton this year again as he can not really challenge him. Also i was happy to see that Mick Schumacher was able to overtake latifi close to the end. He really seems to have some talented as he is driving in the weakest car of all and still managed to overtake a williams.

What does everyone think of this bet:  Russell to finish with points (to finish top 10) priced at 2.85.  He said that he’s going to push really hard to get a point during an interview.

Value or could be better?

Pole position for Bottas but we already know he will fail tomorrow.

Verstappen did a mistake on 1st try of the 2 in the 3rd part of qualify so in his last and only try he didn't push at his 100% or he was risking the 10th position.

Tomorrow we will see a fun race imho the track is still slippery for the new asphalt.

Most of the time Bottas is known for bad starts in general but today is a race which is quite different compared to other tracks with a lot of bumps so anything can happen.I predict at least 1 Safety Car in today race.

It seems that blue Snow wanted to talk about Marc Marquez as he compared it to Rossi, but he did take the position of Marq's brother (Alex).
yes, sorry. I want to compare to mark but made a mistaken, 20th position is alex. marq in 14th osotion on grid.

I do not really understand which 25 points you are referring to? Quartararo is indeed still on top of the standing, but his points is 61 and Bagnaia with 46 points on the 2nd place.
I mean on portugal, Quartaro create 25 points. that I was create mistaken (25 point for 1 games) again, I don't look at 2 games (qatar and doha) before with Quartaro get full point either.

Who is getting confused here? blue Snow is talking about 20th position on the starting grid which belongs to Alex Marquez and your reply is related to the crash of Marq Marquez. Hahaha LOL. I didn't pay attention to who was in the 20th position in the starting grid, so I thought it was Marc Marquez. Because I think Alex Marquez is often called Alex and Marcq is Marquez. I'm sorry if I was wrong. But I am waiting for this race, maybe it will be more exciting than the previous series.

the race today, Marquez and Rossi position on 20th and 17th, I think it would be hard for both of them to get top position.

Last year, if I'm not mistaken, the 1st and 2nd positions belonged to Yamaha. Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinale and third place, Dovizioso from Ducati. Today it seems that his dominance is still the same, it seems that Marquez has not been able to perform optimally. I heard he fell during FP 3. Maybe today Yamaha will win again here.

Fabio Quartararo still on TOP stand with 25 points. however, Quartararo's position still at risk to defeat by Bagnaia with 20 points.

Verstappen actually had a lap time which was going to be enough for taking the pole position. But it was deleted unfortunately because he was out of track limits on a turn.
Yes, but exceeding the track limits gave him an advantage, which helped him to get such a low time.
Ultimately it was a weird Q3 session, with no-one able to get anywhere near the time Hamilton had set in the prior session. A gusting wind and a track surface like an ice rink may have made the qualifying times a little unrepresentative.

But still, I think that Verstappen could win the race if he has a good start.
Yes, as always the start is important. If Mercedes can hold P1 and P2 for the first few laps until things settle down, they might have a big strategic advantage when it comes to the pit stops... another factor in this could be whether or not Perez is able to keep up with the front three, or whether Verstappen will be left alone vs the Mercedes cars.

Today MotoGP on Jerez Circuit Spain, here starting grid the pool qualification:

Fabio Quartararo still on TOP stand with 25 points. however, Quartararo's position still at risk to defeat by Bagnaia with 20 points. In the Spain circuit, Bagnaia in the 4th pole position, If not careful Quartararo's position will be hijacked by the Ducati racer.

Very good starting position for Yamaha, I'm already looking forward to the race. I think it will be an uphill battle for victory, the new young generation of drivers has finally arrived. Seems like Rossi is already in his head next year with his own team, hope he can still make his 200th podium this year, but it will be very difficult. Marc had another bad crash, will he ever come back as old?

sadly mercedes was pretty far ahead of the other teams again with a 0,4s gap between mercedes and verstappen.

I'm not sure this is entirely due to Mercedes. Verstappen had his first time wiped for exceeding track limits... which meant he had to be more cautious on his next run, to avoid starting from tenth.
I'm not sure Mercedes have any real pace advantage... but they do have a strategic advantage now starting P1 and P2.

I'm so hyped for the race tomorrow because the race seems so tight and I think everyone in top 5 has a fair chance to win it as we saw what can happen with this gummy circuit who can kill the tyres in a matter of few corners. Who would've thought that the last sprint in Q3 gonna be full of yellow times ? No one surpassed the previous time that they've done.

Overall , great qualifiers and good to see some redemption for Vettel as he reached q3.

The qualifying is over and sadly mercedes was pretty far ahead of the other teams again with a 0,4s gap between mercedes and verstappen. Bottas managed to beat hamilton today which will help him to get some confidence back after the bad results he had in the last races. Great performance of vettel today as he managed to reach Q3 today and his teammate was already eliminated in Q1. For tomorrows race i am afraid that i will most likely be a clear victory for mercedes as they can start on the medium tyres. It will be interesting to see, if Bottas is allowed and able to battle with hamilton for the victory.

A big surprise from Alpine so far.
They are very fast, can they compete with Ferrari for 3rd place or it is only a bluff?

Ferrari has a new down part of the car and they seem very competitive so far but Mercedes and Redbull will probably go un in horse power tomorrow.

I made bet that Kimi Raikonnen will win ‘group 3’ in qualifying.  I didn’t think that Williams would have the pace.  But looking at both FP1 and FP2, it looks like I’m throwing my money away again.  Lol.  That former WRC VW super team working on the Williams could be legit.

~snip~

I'm sorry that you lost your bet. George Russell is really a very talented driver I believe. Even with a Williams car, he is doing more than the expected for sure. If it weren't for the big accident in the last race, I think he was going to finish at a very good position.

I remember that last year I accidentally got live stream of Moto E race on my Youtube feed. I watched a bit of it and race left me strange impression in comparison with good old Moto GP.

Perhaps the strange thing is the sound, there is no engine sound before the motor runs. I think this is part of an environmentally friendly promotion, like formula E. I just read that Motor E is also capable of run at a speed of 270km / h almost like an oil-fueled motorbike. They use an electric motor supplied by an Italian company, Energica. The weight of the motorbike also reaches 260 kg, heavier than the MotoGp, only 158 kg.

Source: google.com

Moto E in its current form is not a competition to MotoGP, too slow and much too heavy. Also very dangerous in the event of an accident, so nothing practical. I've also seen Moto E live, I wouldn't pay a cent to enter, something so boring and unspectacular for spectators, no biket would want to see it. My personal opinion.
