If Hamilton wins pole position in qualifying then he will win the race. Of course if there are no technical problems.

The roads of Monaco are narrow and the cars are bigger this year. It will be very to overtake.

who will win the gp of Monaco?

Vettel       @2
Hamilton   @3
Bottas       @11
Ricciardo    @11
Raikkonen  @17
Verstappen @20
Sainz          @50

Vettel seems to be the big favorite after making the track record.
If he starts pole position and defends his first place after departure he has great chances to win this gp

Overall, the differences are not big at all, and even McLaren Stallone Vanderne and Jensen Button, who replaced Fernando Alonso, are less than 1.3 seconds behind. Mercedes will improve their performance and gain qualifications

Those are the results of FP2 btw, just to make things clear to those who missed it.  And Hamiltion edged out Vettel in FP1.  I'm not sure what tire choices were used by the Mercedes in FP2 but I read that Vettel switched to ultrasofts and that's when he broke the 1'13 barrier.

Here are the results of FP1

One of best races in formula1 calendar by me. Where its not that important car but the driver is key. Skilled drivers have good chances here if the take good position remember last year it was Alonso in Honda that was keeping Nico until race is over. Shame is that he wont be here cuz he is driving Indy 500 this weekend to. Also Button who will replace him for this race is hopping to see 5th Monaco finish in point.

Best race of the season in MotoGp so far. Shame was crashes from Rossi and Marquez, but Rossi really wanted to win here and he pushes little over the edge, also would like to mentioned that Marquez did something that is not allowed he return bike in opposite direction hat is not allowed by MotoGP rules. Now we have to see if he will get punished for this for next race 5 spots in grid for next race.

It has been a fantastic race, and we have to compliment Valentino Rossi (38 years old) who has tried to win in every way. He was unlucky to fall but he proved to be still a champion.
