Given that last week, they still hadn't processed my EUR withdrawal from early May, I call BS.
Of course, perhaps the last week was a super-efficient one, but I doubt it.

Knew it, USD withdraws are still "delayed" aka stall tactic.

MtGox has now stopped their support as well, it seems.

I also didn't receive any new updates on my withdrawal ticket this week. However, I just managed to catch live chat support.
TL;DR — he claims that SEPA EUR and PLN withdrawal backlog is at 1st week of june and that USD withdrawals and international wires are going "a bit slowly", but should be back in full speed within a week.

I have removed the irrelevant parts from the log:

I am not receiving any support updates to my ticket. I have not received any updates or ETAs on the SEPA withdrawal delay which is now almost 6 weeks.
Michael Support

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Can I have your Mt-gox user name and email id associated with your account
*me*

yes, of course
*me*

my e-mail is ******* and the username is ******
Michael Support

Can you hold on a minute while I can check your account details
*me*

OK
Michael Support

Thank you for waiting . On checking your account, can see that an withdrawal initiated on June 9th still not processed from our end
Michael Support

We are expecting that your withdrawal should be processed with in a week since all the back logs of May and June 1 st week cleared now
Michael Support

Can you please wait and we assure you that the funds will be credited to your Bank account once processed from our end
*me*

I also want to point out that the withdrawal page still states "[..] all fund transfers to SEPA accounts in Europe may take up to 3 weeks", which indicates that 3 weeks should be the max delay.

*me*

I can wait if it will be processed in 1 week (until July 24th) 100%. Are you absolutely sure this will be the case?
Michael Support

But unfortunately since we are working globally to extend support from massive banks, to organise the global payment system, there is such delay at this point of time
Michael Support

yes sure. I will update soon once processed from our end.

[..]

Michael Support

yes. Please go ahead with your question
*me*

when you said "[..] since all the back logs of May and June 1 st week cleared now", is this regarding EUR SEPA transfers or also USD and bank wires?
Michael Support

EUR SEPA
Michael Support

PLN too
*me*

What is the current USD backlog status? I don't have a USD withdrawal request, but many people have and they are worried as well.
Michael Support

USD or international transfer of funds are processing, but a bit slowly
Michael Support

we are expecting, that it will be in full swing with in a week

Of course, I cannot be sure about the accuracy of these claims. Just sharing what info I got.

This frustrating situation is enough to drive one to drink (if either of these could be found).

I'm not an idiot.  I canceled my withdrawals and transferred everything out in Bitcoin the day the withdrawal notice went up.

Not necessarily a bad idea.... depending on how close to the front of the queue you were.

I sold everything at a gain in the past 2 days.

Several posts on these forums.... I'm too lazy to find them.  And of course, take forum posts with a grain of salt.

I've seen several reports of funds being received in the past few days.

Where?

Anyone else thinking of legal actions? MtGox has now stopped their support as well, it seems.

Certainly, yes! We customers have deposited a lot of money there, and that money cannot just evaporate. They can be frozen, ot stealen. MtGox should provide more info now!

How much more info do you need?

They explained they would shut down for a while.

They explained they are back with several new banks, but it will take a while to ramp up and to work through the backlog.

They explained new requests would not be processed until the backlog was handled.

Doesn't look like the backlog is being handled though...

I've seen several reports of funds being received in the past few days, but feel free to continue worrying.  It will remind you to be careful who you give your money to next time.

I'm sorry that your money is tied up, but historically this is not out of the norm for MtGox.  There have been SEPA delays, Dwolla delays, account closures, and transaction limits imposed by banks that have caused similar delays in the past.  Please learn from this experience and research any companies you are thinking about sending large amounts of money to.  If you wait a month, I'm confident your funds will come through.  But dealing with such large amounts of fiat money as a startup is a very difficult task and sometimes things don't flow as smoothly as we'd like.

I waited a month.  Then I cancelled and got coins.  They are only capable of cancelling wires, not sending them. :-P

I actually saw a major advantage of MtGox in dealing with the fiat payments. bitcoin.de is just a market place, not an exchange. In a sense GOXes .6% are cheaper for what is on offer than the .5% from bitcoin.de. Yes, they have some safeguards in place, but still, if something goes wrong in the line of an unauthorised account use, it is yourself who has to deal with it.
Unfortunately the whole discussion is kind of pointless as GOX is currently not providing anything near to be called service. Simply not handing their customers money back renders all their nice features useless.

Exchange means they hold everything. Market means they only hold the BTC you are trading. I don't want anyone holding my BTC or fiat for a second longer than they have to because when it comes down to it many of these places have got hacked, or collapsed overnight. Tradehill, bitcoinica, the polish exchange that wiped its wallet.dat, that big GOX hack, and so on.

If the problem really is a daily bank account limit why don't they just open another account at another bank? I suspect because they really want an excuse to hang on to this money either because they need it or they see it as an interest free loan.

GOX are not to be trusted, They lost their entire user database then lied about it before they got hax0red and people (including me) still went back to them.

Waiting for 25 days and the lowest amount SEPA (953 Euros on 14/4/13) was cancelled without any notifications today.

Quote
"Cancel of: Withdraw to account NATIONAL WESTMINSTER BANK PLC No SEPA route".

Contacted support at #mtgox and then I found out that MTGox can't send to NatWest banks! Pissed doesn't even start to cover it!
At no point anywhere could I find notification of this.... and I waited 25 days to find out!

Also found out their SEPA limit is only 60,000 euros!

They can and do pay to NatWest. We're a verified trader and cash out to NW here in UK.

Gox not paid us since June 12 though, so maybe they don't any more...
