Sturle's last post was 22 february. Suicide?

Shamefully silent as he supported and cheered them on as head cheerleader with MTGOXPOMPOMS.

Now that the SHTF with mtgox he goes silent claiming "signal to noise" ratio being to low blah blah.

Lolz hell Yea HODL for sure  Grin

I'm Holding my 0.79 btc like its my last Btc on earth.....

it is..sniff.

Still.. got my chin up and my minds whirling away on ways to improve that.

You know I was worried that we shouldnt chat on this thread but then got to thinking its not like anyone is going to come here and report a Gox transaction delay  Grin

i'll be hashing 'til eternity, with strict instructions in my will to make sure my rig is still competing for that very last 0.0000001 transaction fee.
which I will specify, must never be sold. LOL

you are right there tho, i think this thread has almost run it's course.

don't worry mate, i don't have a clue about blockchain either, I can't wait to give the transaction printoff from my account to my accountant!

Lol He would just love you I bet. Back in the day I had an accountant and talked to him about this he said get back to me in a week. Week later he said just tell me the exchange rates at point of sale and tell me how many of these things you have sold and I will sort it out. I was well impressed.

BTW Comes under capital gains if they are your coins and ya sell em Smiley

yeah I heard about that, not taxed on the store value then? HODL!

here a 860k coin is seen. May those be missig coins?
https://blockchain.info/pt/largest-recent-transactions

I wont pretend I have been to blockchain.info before I got Goxxed and have spent less than 10 mins total on the website= 10 mins ever looking at the blockchain.

However the part I looked at seemed like $500,000.00 being sent to a new address then having 10,000 mBTC split off and sent elsewhere then the pattern restarts with each wallet only ever having a history of 1 transaction in and 2 out.

Again I would be the very very worst person to look at this because I only started learning 10 mins ago.

If I'm understanding this right (lolz I doubt it) then that's going to be a very very hard $0.5mil to keep track of in the future no?

Also how far does that money go back before this process was started ?

Again great time to jump in and call me a noob and make sense of it to us all. I honestly don't mind being embarrassed over this like i said got no clue.

Hmm - well actually I think the thing that must be on Mark's mind the most at the moment is:

Almost every article I read about Bitcoin has to include some comments about the shady dark side of Bitcoin.
Meanwhile Mark seems to have lost hundreds of millions of "dollars" of Bitcoin people's money.
What might some of these "shady dark" people be considering doing about it?

There is no doubt, though the majority of us in the bitcoin community are law abiding non muderers, there are going to be some types who lurk around the darknet who may be, shall we say, sociopathic to some extent or another.

Could there be any truth to the allegations that DPR hired assassins? It seems possible.  And you have to imagine there are some folks who had fortunes on gox who may indeed have been using BTC to launder money.  Some of them the new digital drug lords...  some who are more old style bad guys just giving the new currency a try.

I would be worried as hell if I were Karpeles.

His life is most certainly in danger.

Of course, the cause could also simply be that they are retards and their system simply sent the 2nd transaction after it 'thought' the first one failed ... so there was no fraud/theft, it was simply a crap system sending BTC to people multiple times.

that wouldnt happen over years / 750k btc without one feedback from the community

Exactly. There has been a stunning silence from all the people who supposedly received double payouts from mtgox. Knowing this community there would have been some yahooing about it straight-away.

Agree, and if "Bitcoin were withdrawn illegally via unauthorized access" it should be registered on block chain , so i can't understand all this environment of misinformation !

A maybe very naive question, but still here I go.

As Tibanne being the owner of MtGox, do it have to cover MtGox losses?
And if so, how much assets does Tibanne have?
Or is everything we've seen so far the combination of Tibanne and MtGox?
