There's Harris again. If Maza is a total scam, the Lakotas won't be getting another crypto anytime soon, the potential for them to profit from this would be gone. So ask yourself, does this look like a person who would sell out their people. secretly sell the premined reserve, all for a few thousand? Could be, sure, but I'm betting it isn't.

Also the oft repeated argument that this can't succeed because it hasn't yet succeeded is asinine and could be equally applied to Bitcoin.

Interesting story...

I decided to carry out a little test.

I have tried this twice now on Cryptsy (would not dare on cryptorush with the lag, even mint pal)

Anyways I thought I would test the waters and put a fair sized sell order in first one was 50,000 and second 35,000 ish
both above the market price by a far margin... and on both occasions my sell orders started to get munched into at a fair pace...
whilst the lower sell orders remained in place...

think about that for a moment.. I have... and I have seen you ; )

And when was this as the orders will still be on CrApsty?

For those of you who are expecting meteoric risie in price soon, it's not possible. There are many bagholders now who bought at a high price. People who pump coins are not stupid, they test the water with small pump, just like the one we see in these last 2 days with the occasional rise from 4500 to 7000.

If he can tell that so many people would dump at the first sight of a price hike, why should he stay with the coin?

If you're in this for the long haul then hold until the price raise very slowly provided the development team do great 'real world' activity with the coin.

You shouldn't expect a bigger pump soon, the ship have sailed. Try to be realistic. When u daydream too much while the reality is bad, u're just making yourself worried. Let it go, stop thinking about this coin for a while and do other stuff.

Excellent analisies!

Block reward: 5000 MZC halving every 241920 blocks (about 12 month) - not dropping below
1 MZC (inflationary minimum)
Total coin mined: 2.4192 billion MZC + yearly inflation
2.4192 billion coins will be mined in approx. first 5 years
Thereafter around 1 million per year (inflationary).

How can you expect 1$?

If you look at how many Dogecoin there are right now... there are 57,697,774,629 DOGE and there are currently 104,235,000 MAZA coins
So there is roughly 553 times as many Doge in circulation now as there are Mazacoins. But when you look at Maza coin which is currently
at market cap of  $2,975,410 and then look at the Dogecoin marketcap, which is at  $54,011,605

Divide the Doge cap by the MZC cap  $54,011,605 / $2,975,410 =  18 approx  (by extrapolation if MZC had the same market cap the price of MZC today would be around $0.5x   - So what happens if Maza gets a market cap twice the size of doge?

There is x 553 difference in the amount of coins at the moment but only a 18 times difference in the amount of their market cap, so to turn your question on its head, how can you expect Doge to have a price of $ 0.00094 per coin with 57 billion in circulation at this point with more on the way also?

Also, circumstances are not the same of course, but look at AUR, at one point they hit 1 billion in market cap, there are 10 million coins approx
so each coin was $100 at one point...  by comparison imagine if MZC at some point managed to get a market cap of just a quarter of the size of what AUR recently managed which would be  $250,000,000 .and say there are around 250,000,000 coins in circulation at that point, then the price would be around $1

Also just playing devil advocate here but what happens if in 1 years time BTC market cap is x2 to x 5 what it is now... what would that mean for say the rest of the top 15 alt coins?

Could Mazacoin reach the value of $1 per coin in a year.... possible yes , $0.50....?  I think so...  all depends on a lot of factors and of course if people choose to get behind the coin.. which I hope they do... for now at least the miners like it.. but they are a thickle bunch.

Would it be wise if it rise to 5k satoshi to sell atleast half of coins and later to see what happens and act according it.

It's always wise to lock in profit when you get some.
No no, I mean if coins was bought in way over 5k satoshi price. Would it be wise to hit smaller lose than wait when it will go to 200satoshi.

Yes. If you hold and it never goes up to over where you bought in at it becomes a depressing albatross.

If you dump it, you can buy back in at a much lower price. Then if it rises, you can get either a nice short term profit or a much larger long-term profit.

People make too big of a deal of accepting their losses. If you bought it at the wrong price, and the market doesn't bear that price, adjust.

It's not like these are blue chip stocks paying dividends. My goal is to be back in BTC every night. I don't want to get caught holding the bag. Set 'stop loss' orders and you won't have this problem in the future. If you would have done that with MZC you would have been out of the trade down 8% or so instead of being down 80% and praying to the Great Spirit for a miracle.

People who bought at 17K are in a 'Wounded Knee' situation now.  Grin

Not old news to everyone, not everyone saw that earlier.

Some people only saw some bogus report on the Emmy Award Winning News site Indianz.com

It wasn't bogus, and it wasn't from indianz.com, they were just reposting it.
It was from Native Sun News: http://www.nsweekly.com/

Hm, I must admit that my jump from BTC to Alt-coin has brought me anything but loss since late february. After buying an altcoin, value dropped  Undecided bad times for crypto's I guess so holding is the answer.  Smiley

MazaCoin is going to go down more before it goes up. So buy low and sell high. 2600-2800 buy in and get out in the 3000-3500 range.
