I told for my post say, i dey look for crypo farm in Nigeria, e reply me com carry me come here. i dey happy as i dey here, where my ppl dey yan toether about the crypo/digital world of Africa(especially Nigeria) as our Govt, dey try make things go smooth for them and rough for naija youths.

Na de Same thing people were talk say NFT na for money laundering, when in fact money launderers de follow use normal artworks for laundering, crypto and Fiat can be used for laundering, our government de use those allegations becos Dem de fear, them done see as common people de progress e de weak them!!

Do not get this confused, I would have posted this along in the last topic made, but I think discussing it separately will be the best. Although, the news are the same but this is another CBN governor's speech during the same 279th MPR meeting held in Abuja just of recent where the CBN governor speaks good about cryptocurrencies.






The questions are:
1. Is the CBN governor right about this?
2. What evidence(s) did the CBN governor has about this?
3. Is it the work of CBN governor to talk about this when no government body has not carried out a research to actually know most Nigerian crypto traders are making illegal transactions?
4. Or, has there been any research disclosed about this yet? I doubt that

When Western Union are used, including MoneyGram, nothing is done. If not because if the Western Union and money gram that make certain rules like yearly minimum withdrawal and reversing of funds sent, it has been a potential means frudsters can use, and yet many frudsters will still be using both. The CBN governor has nothing to say about it but only talking bad about cryptocurrencies. There are still many other ways fiat transactions are used illegally to defraud people, but yet the CBN governor did not ban fiat like Pounds, Euro and Dollar. In fact, fiat are mostly used in illegal activities. Also, I wonder why he has not banned the use of credit card which is impossible to ban.

Although, as Nigeria will move towards launching their own CBDC, it will be a great move so the country will not lack behind. But as we know the CBDC will be digital naira (although, just a guess) which will be pegged with naira. Naira itself is a depreciative asset, more depreciating to the extent 5 million naira kept in bank can worth 1 million naira in just 5 years, the reason people can not go for the CBDC. Also, CBDC itself will totally not let people to have privacy, another reason it should not be used. Also, we believe that this news above is indicating that Nigeria CBN are getting to know what Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are all about, rather than depicting it bad and making false new it.

This move from CBN and Nigeria government dey very lame. After all the bans and restrictions, them don finally come to terms say Bitcoin and crypto is inevitable and that Nigerians no go ever stop in their pursuit to get digital wealth na why them don come up with a plan to launch their own crypto token; hoping say we go dump our current holdings and rush to join their project but them no know. Till date, no government issued token dey do well. Oyibo people don already wash their hands from that kind matter. Make them just allow us to continue our crypto like this with no interruptions from government and their shitty policies.

Na the thing be that, we all know say CBN ban crypto na because of EndSARs wey let them dey start to know how the cryptocurrencies dey important, but they ban ham for their selfish reasons. The CBN governor no know anything about crypto before, I dey sure about that, na why he dey make use of his negative speech before to condemn cryptocurrencies. But him eye don dey open, he know say cryptocurrencies na for the new age, he know say he no get option, and as CBN ban crypto, the crypto trading volume for Nigeria no decrease.
