Chai this your talk funny no be lie, but I no go lie we know say everything we do, dey always get repercussion and if ASUU finally just give up after this long wait, I swear na then I go really vex because Dem suppose settle this very mata once and for all. And I dey hear say government wey carry them go court, don dey seek out of court settlement FUNNY PEOPLE. If ASUU give in to government without collecting the right settlement, then we suppose sue ASUU on grounds of jeopardizing with the future of students.

I don talk am say, this our government no dey try at all and we all know, and worst of all be say them no dey even pay attention to the right sectors of the economy, forgetting say education na one major factor because I see no reason wey Dem go reduce education allocation, come dey owe lectures wey get family and other responsibilities to meet up with and expect them to keep quiet and when they start to dey collect money(sorting) massively from innocent students to meet up with their lives, everybody go still dey put eye for them seriously and yet we government no gree do the needful for them.

Early last month we been hear story of a lecturer wey commit suicide and we still dey think say this strike affect only the students? No e reach everybody both students, staff and the entire country at large.

My guy no vex o, but you feel say ASUU dey fight for we students welfare or 4 dem pocket? I kno say no be swit tin to dey for school study course of 4yrs but say strike dey e extend reach five or six years. Which of the Presidential Candidate has mentioned any of the things I listed in their IDEOLOGY, BLUEPRINT, MANIFESTO? Non. There is a different between a leftest, a centrest, and a rightest. All Nigeria leaders that I know now are RIGHTEST. That is, they are not progressive but conservativist. APC which claim to be ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS is the no 1 conservative party in Nigeria. Nigeria just need a LEFTEST (progressivist) leader to establish industries and do the above listed. Nigeria can take care of her citizens very well if only do the listed and others. But selfishness will not allow them to do it. every government in Nigeria is looting. Abacha loots are somethings else. Niger Delta Governors are more rich than Abacha loots. I believe in Nationalism but not in Patriotism because they have fail me.

One truth to this matter be say, strike or no strike, these lecturers no run out of job and e no stop them from pursuing there individual career objectives. As them dey strike so, them still dey collect there pay, seating in there houses. The only thing way them dey miss be sorting money and small chippings them dey extort from students.

I doubt say ASUU dey supportive of students else, they for realise say, them too fit help government solve the matter with education if them feel say, government no dey try. I no go like discuss personal issue but I recall a laxity expressed by a lecturer in my time of just walking or driving down a 2kilometer distance to verify the state of a matter that has been pending for over 7months. The guy just banked on whatever excuse he had until he was ordered to and the list has been lying there for over that period of time, waiting to be picked up.

E go hard for us to dey get solution until these guys handling public office are affected by the deeds of there expenditure. There children needs to enroll and pay the price as well. The sacrifice no get to be one sided.
Students are loosing valuable working time. Person never work, e don dey retire. How can we be having year 1A, B and C cef, its unheard of.

Every time we dey here ASUU and government do meeting and yet result no dey come, ASUU no dey gree, abi ASUU na juju wey person no dey beg?
Abeg who don see the report of any of the meetings between FG and ASUU make we know who dey fault. I don tire to dey side ASUU for this matter. E be like na time to support government be this make students return to school.

My people una do well for this kind mata, even me I dey shock how the education sector for we country dey Waka, because I don even seat down ask myself how the schools wan take arrange students wey been just enter school before the strike and the ones wey go even enter after the strike. Well my head don already full to dey reason that very mata and no be just prayers we need now but strong and firm decisions.

Another problem be say even most students never ready to go back and if ASUU call off strike I dey really pity the next sets of graduates wey go enter labour market because of the high level of malpractice wey Dem go do to sort ways out.

This government to me no be democracy wey dem teach me for school, wey be say na government of we people, for we people and by we people, wey mean say na we citizens wey vote the leaders suppose get final say, but we no get voice again because anybody wey try open mouth don turn enemy of the government and either government punish am and make am no get choice but dance to thier  tune or find better money use close him mouth.

Another major problem we dey get na our constitution wey Dem make so rigid as per say no other person go fit amend am well, if e no come suit us again because I see no reason wey vital positions of government go be by appointment, positions like Chief Judge and INEC chairman no suppose be by appointment because we no suppose expect transparency from person wey dey support government wey appointment am, abi you no want make him chop again?

Government should do the needful for ASUU except them want privatize the education sector.

Secondly the funniest part of it is that the schools are no longer interested to know if the students are fully qualified to past out through the academic system or not, all the knows is to issues out certificate to those students after finding their way out. Now let say the levels of illiteracy is increasing on a daily basis, I could remembered last few years ago I went to Zenith Bank at Miles 2 in Ikoku precisely, just within the mechanic village there inside the bank a young looking and pretty Corp member came to me and said I should help her fill out a deposit form, she called the name of the receiver also called out the account number which I did help her out. After I finished she said thank you sir but to me it looks so embarrassing seeing a NYSC member who can't just formally fills out a form. Then I asked myself how did she graduated from school and even wearing the NYSC uniform, I was like she said sir you won't understand and she quickly ran to deposit. Immediately something came to my mind,  this could be one of those who graduated with their bodies and money.

Looking at her, in normal circumstances if I happened to called her on the way she might not give me attention but she secretly came to me for help inside bank without raising her voice much or even making the next person to understand what we were doing.

So in summary, our country is truly backwards and should calls for academic sanitization, meaning people has to read and graduate with what they merits or should repeat and make sure they are well educated properly before issuing out certificate to them in other not to tarnished the school reputations, It's called school so they are meant to be educated before graduating any of them.

Na point u make so b dat. One tin wit we govment be say as long as dem pikins dem no dey involved in we naija education, dem no send weda children wey dey hia get propa education or not na make dis strike don tey like dis.

Na this kind of thing wey you go d see when carry people wey their children no d study for this country put them on the horns of affairs of education of the country. Asuu going strike each time but this one na d longest so far.

I understand your frustrations but Nigeria doesn't have the capacity to take care of her citizens. When those hand picking was ongoing by companies, we had less citizens going to school and they had limited sources to make selection from. Also then the school system wasn't as corrupt as it's now,  meaning if you saw someone that was marked to be top of their classes then truely he/she did deserve that accolades unlike now that corruption has taken over the school system that even to get admitted into the school system can be bought and your way out too can also be bought.

Today there are unlimited supply of graduate to choose from because we have different education bodies graduating people yearly out of the school system and majority are not qualified. Nigeria isn't the only country struggling with unemployment. Infact it's a global problem as even the Western world are struggling with it but yet they've been doing just fine as a country because of their high level of entrepreneurship and that's what Nigeria is trying to in-store into her citizens and that's why you're seeing it at any level of educational stage you reach. Now they just have to adjust thier regulations to suit self established business and things will begin to become better.


Nothing much, we get different outlets to use hustle for this industry. We get telegram moderation jobs, social media page moderator and so many job opportunities, just dey join different projects groups as those jobs dey in different forms.
