Which crypto exchange is the most popular in Nigeria?
The most popular crypto exchange in Nigeria is obviously Binance
What's the preferred exchange method?
If you do not know, our government has banned our commercial banks from facilitating cryptocurrency transactions directly from exchanges, so our most preferred method of exchange is P2P.
What are the FEEs they are taking from you?
Since we use P2P we do not pay any fees for it.

Independence but not free
When Nigeria gained independence from British authority in 1960 and was proclaimed a federal republic with Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe serving as its first president, it was a momentous day in Nigerian history. It is truly a day to honor freedom because it is not something that can be attained without cost. Following independence, on January 15, 1966, there was the first military takeover, also known as the founding of the first republic, which was controlled by several leaders who represented the various regions. Very intriguing system of governing. Although we are celebrating our independence, are we truly free? We practice democracy which was supposed to be a  government of the people, where the priority of the government is supposed to be the people but their priority is now their pockets greed has taken over our nation, and corruption has eaten deep into our system that as crumble the economy and governance of our nation indeed we celebrate freedom but still in bondage, but despite the challenges we stand firm and hope for the best, let's pray and hope for the best, Nigeria is our home our land and our nation, we also have a role to play as its citizen so let’s perform our duties correctly and God bless  Nigeria.

di independent wey Nigeria got dat na political independent, Nigeria still dey suffer 4 economic dependent. Azikwe was a ceremonial president. As of dat time of di independent in1960, Nigeria was operating parliamentary system which was having 2 heads. Head of State and Head of Government. Azikwe was di head of government nd head of govert was onli 2 attend ceremonies. And Head of State 2 carry out di administrative activities and Tafawa Balewa was the Head of State. Now afta di independent, British govermt still control Nigeria through economic means, dat is y 9ja no fit do anything instead we dey pay debit.

Those days are gone, when people look forward to Nigeria's Independence day. Back in the days it was celebrated just like Christmas and Sallah, but today the only thing most citizens are looking forward to is the two days holiday, just to take a little rest from work. If the economy were to be better than this, most of us will have more than just life to be grateful for. But the bad governance would not allow it. A government that ordered the shooting of her own citizens on their own soil just less than 20 days after the Anniversary celebration of their freedom, where is the freedom in that?
Someone is still there pray for the spirit and soul of our fallen heroes, I think we can only do them proud when we pray for and support our present and future heroes. Weve been waiting for the messiah who will not turn a blind eye to the things happening within the nation. I just hope we find him coming 2023.
I still think there's a light at the end of this tunnel, we just need to walk smartly towards it. NIGERIA WILL BE GREAT AGAIN.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE 9JA

Happy independent day Nigeria and to all Nigerians.
It has been a very critical moments in the life of our country Nigeria and for every Nigerian. We have a plethora of reasons not to be happy and proud of our Father land, not to celebrate our nation when compared to other nation's of the world. Yes! Yes your reasons, my reasons, our reasons put together are true but let's not forget we have no other place to genuinely call HOME with an identity apart from our Father land.

If we could go through these few nights left I surely believe there's brighter and better days ahead. Let us build together the kind of country we vision to live in.

weti u tok here e make sense. weti i go tok bi say 9ja e dey corrupt but our leaders nai dey cause all dis wahala we kontry. our leaders no want di youths 2 progress so any gud tin wey come 2 di contry, wey bi say na 4 di benefit of di youths dem go dey fight am back until di di tin go scater. Nai make dem dey fight Peter Obi now bcos dem see say di guy go bless di youth. Ghana no go fit overthrow 9ja 4 di crypto matayas. Ghana fit adopt crypto (bitcoin) 4 im contri pipo bt di population of pipo wey dey use crypto (bitcoin) in 9ja are more dan di pipo wey dey use am 4 Ghana. In Africa, more 100s years 2 come 9ja go still bi di highest population contri in Africa. If we contri leaders really love di youths, by now 4 don go far 4 di crypto mata.

NIGERIAN ELITES (LEADERS) HATE THE YOUTHS
They dont want the youth to progress in life, they are very happy the way we are, therefore, anyone who is trying to liberate the youth is an enemy to them. So Peter is their main enemy for now. As it is, the elites are grouping to fight OBI with all their mights.

Wetin I thank God be say the headline say catch up and not beat. Because the two mean different things. As per that one, me sha nor believe say Ghana fit catch up sha because the dynamics between the two countries dey different. For example  - The current population of Ghana in 2022 is 33,475,870 and for for Nigeria na 217,583,664 as of Friday, September 30, 2022, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data. Now for this data first consider the margin and then compare the numbers with those for Naija wey dey into crypto and those for Ghana. You see why I talk say e go dey hard to catch up?
I been try click on the second link about worldometer but e no open. However, the thing wey dey be say if we begin this comparison between Naija economy and that of Ghana, also including the technological advancement, we must talk about the Jollof rice aspect... Nigeria has more population and more languages/ethnicities compared to Ghana. If we also speak about crypto advancement, no forget say na Naija bois full Ghana dey help build their economy o. Na just open eye and longer throat dey worry us for this country.

True talk boss, Ghana don they get so much grounds even pass we Nigeria. If you go noticed many celebrities, musicians, Footballer from Europe and in the US are all trooping to Ghana when ever they want to experience true African culture.
Also when ever black history and also slave history is a topic of research Ghana is most likely the hot spot for the research.
I go talk true and that be say Ghana na country with big potentials and if their government can channel energy into tourism then fit boost their economy be that oh.

Yes I know say Ghana Dey grow but one thing way Nigeria they grow like wide fire be interms of crypto-currency and personally e Dey give me joy, I would love to see how Ghana can match that energy.

Sha all na win for African but you think say Ghana fit overthrown Nigeria for the cryptocurrency industry? No dey biased oh una well-done.

Ghana no go fit overtake Nigeria for crypto matter, no how e go fit take happen. E no dey possible. Crypto things na game of numbers and Nigeria get the numbers pass Ghana by far. The only thing Ghana go do na to improve but Ghana no fit overtake Nigeria.

Imagine say Nigeria get some kind crypto restrictions with banks and government yet dem still dey top the chart. We know say as future dey go, those restrictions go comot and more adoption go enter wella for Nigeria. So the future bright wella for Nigeria and crypto.

Topic Discussion: Ghana set to catch up to Nigeria and Kenya in terms of crypto adoption: Chainalysis
In a report released by blockchain analytics platform Chainalysis, researchers found that Ghana has the potential to achieve crypto adoption levels similar to Kenya and Nigeria, countries that ranked 11th and 19th in the analytics firm’s Global Crypto Adoption Index.

According to Ray Youssef, the CEO of peer-to-peer (P2P) platform Paxful, the local population's needs along with the current growth trends in Ghana show its potential to become a leader in crypto adoption in Africa.

Youssef said that the total trading volume from Ghana in their P2P exchange has grown by 400% in the last two years. The executive also believes that many Nigerians consider Ghana as their home during the summer and are educating Ghanaians on Bitcoin (BTC) and crypto

Abeg make una no vex, wetin we do Ghana lol. Dem just dey worry us for back like wetin I no know. Which day self I hear say Grammy CEO show Africa and na ghane e go lap even though na Afrobeats dey dominate the music scene in Africa, same with former Twitter CEO and other big names for the industry or other industry na always Ghana dem dey go. Ghana just wan take all our shine and mainly because we Nigeria no wan improve. See this small one wey we been dey use body as giant of Africa for the cryptocurency business now Ghana go soon take am.

Wetin we dey do wrong as a country, already Ghana is seen as the perfect county for most businesses coming into Africa, if them mistakenly get the trading volume over Nigeria I no think say we go see any project showing us interest and all this na due to our reputation as one of the most corrupt country. Sha all na win for African but you think say Ghana fit overthrown Nigeria for the cryptocurrency industry? No dey biased oh una well-done.
The truth for Nigeria matter why foreign investors dey go Ghana be say Nigeria don cast well well, high rate of corruption too much but the real truth na the insecurity matter why Nigeria dey face. Boko haram dey do their own, bandits dey do their own come join our economy wet no get level again.

Na all these things foreign investors dey check before them go come do business for any country. Investors dey go Ghana because them don upgrade in terms of coordinating and piloting the affair of the country well, also their economy better pass Nigeria own. Ghana money big pass our money when them get similar issue just the way our politicians dey misbehave, they killed all of them to make sure say the country progress to this extend wey them dey now.
Like play Ghana don dey pass Nigeria almost for many things. I still happy say na Ghana dem dey talk about because na still Africa, maybe our leaders go see all these things wey Ghana dey benefit come adopt crypto for we country
Even we Nigerians dey tuama go Ghana because of bad government.

I believe say everybody get their presidential candidate wey he go vote for, the Yoruba's will vote for Tinubu ,while the northern might vote for Atiku,
I nor like this Logic as you wan use style carry ethnicity enter this presidential matter. if you want to use the logic that everybody will be voting for people from their ethnic group, it means the vote in the north will be divided amongst Atiku, Kwankwanso and Shettima the vice to  Tinubu. I think however that many Nigerians have moved past this mentality and in the coming election will vote for competence over ethnic relationship.

The topic making wave on the internet yesterday concerning the election was about the whereabout of the APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and why he was absent from the signing of the peace agreement by all candidates. What do you people have to say about this?

Topic Discussion: Ghana set to catch up to Nigeria and Kenya in terms of crypto adoption: Chainalysis
A new government in Nigeria will put some spark back in our hope flame for the country. Even with the stylish policies against crypto for here, Nigerians still dey run am dey top the chart. Any developing policy that favors cryptocurrency in Nigeria generally when a new government takes over will send the number of Nigerians in crypto further higher than any other African country will be able to catch up to, Na wetin i believe be that.

As i bin they read your post, na this bolded part been they my mind to comment on, thank God say you touch on am, imo i don't see anything bad if Ghana come up wella for crypto adoption, i no know if i go like make them overtake Naija for that aspect, but if their numbers do go up, it is not only good for Africa, but for the crypto network generally.

Having said that, i don't think competition in these sort of things is bad for the leading country, it is a healthy competition, and wetin e show be say people don they enter the network, e choke, lol. If Ghana catch up with Nigeria based on that way, e no bad at all, network go they grow, same with the respective countries, all the better.

As u don see am now, Ghana de try take advantage of us because dem know say we no too de galant now due to our politicians selfish interest.
But I still believe am say dat giant of Africa wey we don already get 4 crypto go still stand kamkpe because dem no reach to overtake us 4 that unless if their Government make am legal 4 dem before us, if not i trust Nija guys na government de dull us about crypto if not we 4 don go very far world wide.

Abeg who sabi which exchange trade P2P in naija for USDT into Nigeria bank. It be like say holding naira done turn issue now and they are enforcing everyone to own usdt account if you want to trade internationally more also all other currencies are doing badly now and naira is worse, to save my currency while I put in bank and move around the world. If u sabi abeg yarn me o
Based on personal and experience try Binance P2P express which is one of the best exchange whether you wan buy USDT with naira by transferring money from your bank account to the seller everything dey fine, if want to sell your USDT to naira too dem dey there wella, however e be like say you go get a verified Binance account before those transactions go work or get some verification limit wey you go pass which depends on amount of money you want transact, alternatively some people say localbitcoins.com too dey okay but I never try them sha the choice is yours now.
Oshey baba mi, I got a verified Binance account and I done dey trade there over years but getting USDT on black market now done hard self, to see dollar hard. So if one can get a usdt account here in naija bank and do P2P to that account from Binance I no go mind now but it no dey. So I dey look for other avenue if u see o. Naira turn 735 yesterday, for naija bank how we won handle that if i get naira or even borrow dollar to pay back.
