The shares entitle the owner to 100% of nothing.  Even if NeoBee became a successful business, the shareholders would be entitled to nothing if the profits are spent on expenses, like hiring your GF as a consultant.  You, as a non-voting shareholder, would have zero say in that.

Wheyyy, amazing...

Dear bitcoiners, I am the heir of Sir Abdullah Nobobo, a Nigerian tribal chief who bought the Eiffel tower from Napoleon in 1943.  I am selling it for 12,000 BTC, interested buyers please stand in an orderly line outside my mailbox.

Where is the media on this one?  I would think that main stream outlets would be licking their chops for a chance to drag Bitcoin over the coals, using how ANOTHER Bitcoin business has imploded as justification.  All I've seen is coindesk, newsBTC, and other small outlets have picked this story up.

How juicy does it need to be to fly on their radar?
-Insolvency after 25 days of the IPVO
-Stock traded on a unregulated securities exchange
-Holders of the stock have 0% equity in the company
-AWOL CEO
-Bitfunder mishap
-Mt Gox
-One of the leading and trusted voices in the community being involved (Andreas).*

I think that Mt Gox being picked up by main stream has peaked an interest of Bitcoin in the public.  It didn't matter if the spin was pro or con, more people are now aware of Bitcoin because of it.  I'm of the opinion that the only bad news for Bitcoin is no news at this point.

So come on CSNBC, Bloomberg, WSJ, Forbes, show Bitcoin some love (even if its the tough kind)!

*My belief is that Andreas is being authentic in claiming that he was just a technical advisor.  That was a point made clear by him before the whole melt down (maybe he saw the writing on the wall).

for people looking to make a quick profit right now, wait until this wall has been properly tested first, that's the most sound advice I can give.

And if it holds, then this is definitely insider trading. Just wait it out. A few hours and you will have all the information you need.

unfortunately, people buying now might aswell be rolling a dice and buying on an even number.

I'm off to bed, good luck.

Because I believe in the long game. I own a large amount of neobee shares I purchased @ 0.0001, and I will hold no matter what. That doesn't mean a pump and dump isn't obvious. It benefits me to have the share price driven up but I thought I would come here to give advice to the less experienced investors, even at a cost to myself. This wall will keep appearing and disappearing, keeping the pump and dump going until someone actually tests that wall. I hope people can see past there own preconceptions and realise that some people arn't just here to spread FUD and troll. I am seriously concerned with what this community is coming too, allot of people here are destined to lose allot of money if they can't see what is right in front of them.

Interesting. Care to present your long thesis?

I think it is possible neobee will be brought out. I'd look to consort with others to buy it myself if I didn't have allot of my funds tied up in other projects.

It's a great concept, if the market wouldn't have dived the project would have been a huge success.

On the other hand, buying at this stage is a calculated risk. There is a price I set for this risk and I achieved it. It's important to look at the facts and set your own value, not just follow the market blindly.

I wish everyone the best of luck but it is clear this community isn't ready for the sort of investment game that is coming, this is a small drop in what will be a huge pond, and allot of these people who are blindly following pumps and dumps are going to get killed by institutional investors in the long term

Still, I wish everyone the best of luck, just be careful, this isn't a game.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

So bitcoin.newsfeed, how are things?

You've clearly just brought some shares and are trying to drive up the price.

I have given you honest advice, either take it or leave it.

You were the one buying 2 days ago.

Guys. Be careful though. If this wall goes your all fucked.

+1

Classic pump and dump with one big player controlling the entire market

This isn't going to end well, you're all getting played. Don't be a bagholder

Oh look, a total newbie who's never replied to a NeoBee thread before, who is using the terminology 'bagholder'. Now there's only one other person on these forums who uses that term...

Price was going up long before this wall showed up. It tripled from 1 to 3 prior to this wall.
