Imho, you can gamble in front of your kids as long as you have authority in their eyes or family. I assume you, your kid wont become addicted just from watching or trying to gamble. Actually, it's not because of a lack of parental love, but because of several factors and there are no parents who don't love their children, perhaps because of work factors that make children feel a lack of love. The reason is, currently married couples choose to work to meet their living needs and other needs, thus making their children feel less love.

Both points are valid, people nowadays specially those parents are busy taking care of their child needs I mean physical needs but in terms of good guidance most of the time parents allow children to use mobile devices, bringing those devices to lessen the time that they need to spend with their kids, in terms of friends that's the after effect if parents don't have the time for their kids, they will be closer to their friends and the risk that they may be encourage to do something that not going to be good in the eyes of their parents.

You know what is harmful activity also? Every professional sport. Sport in general help to improve health. Professional sport not. Just take the fact that every single professional athlete has an injury and he is lucky if he has just one. So what then, never take kids to stadiums to watch sports live? Because they might want to become a professional athlete and most likely will get a minor injury already during training session.

There is no guarantee of a bright future for children because it depends on how parents can educate their children and support their children's growth and development. Nowadays, many children don't get enough love from their parents, which makes them look for other ways and they find that their friends can provide protection or other things they need. It makes them closer to their friends and not to their parents. If parents have a bad influence on their children, their children will also imitate what their parents do. If they often see their parents gambling, there is a possibility that their children will also gamble and they will do it with their friends. Parents must be careful if they want to gamble by not showing it to their children to avoid their children's curiosity and curiosity.

A child watching his or her parents while they gamble can't still gamble until such a child is of age, atleast from 10, 12 to 15 years of age when they probably already own their own smart phone or are getting some pocket money from the parents.

A child can watch an adult gamble and possibly won't understand exactly what the adult is doing, the child may possibly assume that the adult is playing some random video game, a child can only know that you are gambling only when you decide to tell them so.

Children are very quick to imitate every actions of adults around them and because gambling is one activity that isn't supposed to be introduced to children under the age of 18, it's absolutely wrong for adults to or parents to gamble in front of kids as it'll potentially make them to end up as gambling addicts.

Sad reality that parenthood needs to address that easy access to anything can really harmed our kids, what more if they see us doing things like this, the implication to their mindset is that gambling is not as bad as what we are saying since they are witnessing us doing it and for sure most of the time they will see us enjoying.

I can agree only with kids are fast learners. It took me few minutes to talk to them and they have realizes that they can lose a lot or all their money if they gamble careless. As well as to teach them that they can only gamble with their own money, but I also pointed out that they can do whatever they want with their money. I disagree that gambling is dangerous. Reckless gambling is, but in general it isnt. I can also start a discussion about them copying us. They are very selective. They dont copy 100% of what we do. Otherwise parents wont have to remind them to clean their rooms, do homework and etc.

We as parents are the ones to guide them and even if we're also gamblers, we don't want them to be like that at a young age and as they grow old, we don't have control of them anymore.
