So...any new news on filling the level 1 static node empty spots?

I support the project but it's been months with no new news on this except you may charge 20% more for people willing to fill the spots

I think the priority is to get the registered nodes tested and online first before any news on filling in the remaining slots.

Withdrawal from cryptopia taking more than half an hour? Usually pretty fast.

New people to XBY you can take this has hype or shilling if you want but...

Don't assume any slowdown in price rises or some selling as a negative. Lots of early xby buyers love their shitcoins and are constantly dumping small amount to bet on them. Take advantage and buy up any sell walls you see cause I personally think it wont be too long till we say goodbye to under 1000sats. We seem to be moving nicely along with testing and in a few days there will a pr push. So of you do want to own then I would say we will soon say goodbye to super cheap prices.

I'm not a mod.  But I would argue that instead of doing any sort of due diligence, you decided to post on the ANN and in the Slack . . after leaving other channels for strange reasons of your own volition.

I will do the research for you, since you posted here . .

The PUA program flagged by clamAV is a false signal.  Here are multiple links corroborating its inefficiency.  The PUA detection system is broken.
https://askubuntu.com/questions/583729/clamav-pua-win32-packer-privateexeprote-7
http://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?p=15591

I have already answered the other flag in my earlier post.

If you do a web search, you will see that not-a-virus:RiskTool.Win32.BitCoinMiner.iexz throws up false positive on a bunch of crypto qt wallets . .

https://www.reddit.com/r/pivx/comments/6wkt9i/kaspersky_alert_message_with_pivx_windows_wallet/

"If you definitely got it from the official source, then it's probably a false positive. This can happen with wallets with Bitcoin core code in them, due to (I believe) the setgenerate function which existed prior to Bitcoin core 0.13."

Kaspersky found this.

Komponente:     Datei-Anti-Virus
Ergebnis:     Gefunden: Trojan.Win32.IRCbot.avmj
Objekt:     C:\users\123\Downloads\xtrabytes-qt.exe
Grund:     Lokale Datenbanken
Datenbanken vom:     31-Jul-17 4:19:00 AM

This was actually just some code from the IRC system as a result of the STaTiC nodes sending out there IP address. The virus scanner program is picking up a false positive. However, to avoid confusion for Kaspersky users, Borz will recompile with that related part of the IRC code removed.

You can download the new version when it's ready. The old version is also fine though, because again, this is not a virus.

Thank you for your understanding!

A simple search of the ANN will give you answers.  This has been discussed at the beginning of the month.

Why are my messages being deleted in Slack then?

The transaction feee is set to 50 XBytes. Does this mean that the price of XBytes will never reach $1 as each transaction would cost like $50?
What am I missing here?

The fee will scale down as the price rises. It's not going to be 50 forever. Borz was already doing some testing on dynamic scaling fees and trust factors, e.g. zero fees for 'friends' on the network.

oh wow, zero fee for 'friends' on the network is actually really cool, like that idea

The potential for owning a node lv1 or lv2 will far surpass any masternode due to share of service fees.

I honestly think if XBY explodes like I think it will then evn 1 level.2 node might provide a passive income to live comfortably the rest of your life. No guarantees but thats a great oportunity for about 1.5btc buy.

I believe that question was not about simply owning the coin but about incentive system so...
There will be system of first and second level STATICS that will be functioning somewhat like masternodes and people who own them, will receive XBY from processed transactions, fees and etc. I beleive that in near future team will give option to purchase them so you can earn rewards for your coins.

That's correct. There are many incentives for owning XBY, including the option to earn XBY from owning a level 1 or level 2 static node.

No POW, no POS. Any reward we can earn with this coin?

No reward for simply owning the coin but the incentive for owning this coin is that it will be used to pay for the services offered through the modules on the xby blockchain. That will add value and a use case for owning the coin.

so, are static nodes full or not?
I did not get any clear answer and I'm interested of running one. But need to know tech spec/reqs as well in terms of fees/rewards and so on.

If anybody can reach me via PM here or on slack, will be appreciated.

Thanks

I think on the short term the price gains will outweigh any staking reward you could possibly get.

It's all depends on avaibility and price of one static in future. If all go well, in the long run staking will be much more profitable than short term speculation.

Yeah a big one.....owning it.  Grin

*nodes will earn transaction fees and service fees likely far more than any masternode system.

Yes with a static node, but as i know the first round ist over to register a node from the first round.
But i heard in future there is a second round where you can register new static nodes.
