I guess there is a lot of trolling on an anonymous message board about an anonymous currency.

These are the most draconian restrictions I've ever encountered when signing up to a forum. You guys must really hate dealing with spammers! Oh well, I guess if it works, more power to ya  Grin
With the popularity of this forum it is understandable.

it took me a bit to even find out the exact number of posts to get the restriction off, 5 isn't even too bad! Wish I looked this up sooner.

Funny thing. To prove you are not a troll of spambot, you are pretty much forced to spam or post 5 nonsensical posts. Still, I understand the system, Im not complaining. Just spamming Smiley

It's seems counter-intuitive, but posting this message, as well as somehow spending another 20 minutes online in the form, should whitelist me.

I'm in exactly the same situation. Give or take a few minutes.

Hi nice to meet everyone.   Been reading the boards for awhile but I had a quality statement I wanted to post on one of the Tradehill check threads - though I now see this forum has minimums in place.

Will continue reading and certainly sticking with BTC for awhile to come!

I agree waiting in the forum and posting how much it suck's to have to wait is annoying, but it proves that you have the patience = interest which mean you won't be a pain in the *** later I guess...

Yes, the waiting is quite boring but just gotta get through it, I guess.

Jep, i think so too, just surf daily the forum and i hope to getting out here quickly Cheesy

The restrictions are annoying because the first posts are just garbage posts. An optional verification system would be nice.

I think the restrictions are fair so as to be able to prevent spammers and other bad individuals.

Hurray for forum staff and admins !
