Just don't fall for those pump&dump schemes as they bring nothing for the market.
Research.... research... research... invest in a project you trust and HODL but everyone has it's own strategies  Wink

Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

Dont believe what some guy tells you on twitter. Or even on bitcointalk forum. It is proven to be not true.

So many Legendary members with such crude low level advice.

A more intelligent answer is don't assume anything you read on bitcointalk or twitter is true....check it out yourself. Plenty of truth tellers on both platforms, its discerning the wheat from the chaff.

I would say if you want more generalised advice I would say there are two major ways to play crypto currencies.

1. Chase every fashion, twitter release, trend and momentum you see and jump onto it. The assumption being they will all crash to nothing later anyway so just ride the wave and get back into btc. Very stressful and forget about sleeping.

2. Research, research, research and when you see the project that shines and people haven't really caught onto it trust in your instinct and invest. Then hold until either the price rises or until your original thesis changes. Personally I would say this is the way to get rich without stress.

As a newbie to Altcoins, you should research a lot, and set the explicit goal for your gain of altcoins. With the exact strategy of your own, you must buy at a lower price and sell at a higher price.

Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

If you want to trade in altcoin, you should do is buy cheap and sell at high prices and you can use 3 buy order to anticipate if altcoin you buy in dumper
The simple philosophy used by beginners is to buy cheap and sell high prices. Everyone can say that, and everyone will be easy to learn.

When dealing with the real market, altcoin is very difficult to predict movement. Very difficult to determine where the lowest price, and when will reach the target.

That's not enough to say. Practice is more important.

Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

What strategy are you referring to? You are not mentioning trading of altcoins. You are not mentioning altcoin services either. Or altcoin mining.

Anyway, explore more about altcoins through this altcoin discussion section and you will be enlightened what you are really looking for about altcoins.
Yes, you can ask what exactly you are looking for altcoins? You want to buy altcoins or want to earn free altcoins or want to start altcoin mining etc. if you give full description means we can help you how much we can. Any way you want to earn altcoins means you have many ways like joining the signature campaign and altcoin trading and joining any new airdrops, etc.

Hi there, I'm new to altcoins.
Welcome to the altcoin world and you should not have any problems with alts as they aren't any different from the way you use bitcoin
Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley
My strategy for profit is to buy tokens during an ICO while they're cheap or buy altcoins from bounty hunters/weak hands before they are listed on a big exchange, good luck.

Dun buy on hype.

Research for undervalued or over-dumped coins, this involves lots of time and effort.

Check whenever the alts you are interested has a good dev team or active community, joining their Slack or Telegram is one example.

Don't afraid on losses, the recovery in Alt world is far quicker than real stock market.

Patience and luck -  in the ALT world even the shittest coin could be pumped for no reasons or the more anticipated coin could be dumped as well.

Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

the most important thing that you need to know about altcoins and investing in them is timing. if you can master it then you will make a lot of money and if you ignore it you will lose a lot of money without even noticing!

you need to know when to go in and when to get out.

when you see everyone is screaming "BUY" "to the moon" ,... that means it is already too late and you should take that sign to either dump if you have any and if not to stay away.

and when everyone is saying "DEAD" "DUMP" "what is happening and why is it red" that can be a good chance to buy in some situations.

Don't be panic with FUD by certain peoples to make the coin crashed and don't be panic with panic sell suddenly that's normal in cryptocurrency market. Also make sure before you do any action on crypto market (buy or sell) try to search their ANN thread and track the progress of that coins. So you can predict which coins will be good or shit project.
Yes it is very true, do not rush to sell your Altcoin when the price drops suddenly, try to find information first before selling or buying a coin.

guys, not causing FUD, I actually invested in some of these.

https://hackernoon.com/ic-no-1a9c0f786926

Various projects were evaluated and this guy compiled some here which he found to be the worst.

Includes mentions to the Golem (GNT) token, seems like it has no value attached to it, he mentions ICN, MLN, GNO, SingularDTV, Round, DigixDAO.
Just check it if you feel like it matters.

Hope I am helping someone here.
