Done the alias thing (thanks for pointing that out to me ) its telling me I'm not forging as I have a balance of zero even though there is 4 in there.
Think I better do some serious reading up on this, but I must admit I like the look of it all.
In the mean time I have just bought a load of NXT from DGEX so lets hope I have more luck there than cryptsy

To fully protect the account, you need to do one outgoing transaction. You can create an alias for example

I had exactly the same issue with Craptsy about one month ago.
It took me 25 days, 5 private messages to bitjohn and mullick, more then 30 tickets to their support and finally after five days i've been insulting them in their trollbox they unlocked my NXT.
Good luck man, you really need it when dealing with Craptsy!
Im in that position exactly now. Only 48 hours waiting for me, tho. But i can lose some time telling every fkin one on the internet about how cryptsy behaves.
For starters, its my last operation with Craptsy ever. Bye for good. Keep on selling overpriced mining contracts to newbies, damaging the cryptocoin new arrivals, rigging "raffles" with a point system that noone cares, and ripping startup coders with the absurd vote system. Everything, but their real job: To be a fast and reliable exchange. Slow and shady. (currently the NXT are not in my account on Cryptsy, nor in my account on NXT, nor in the blockchain so... Where are they?
And this is not my last post about them. Will be on NXT forum, twitter, fb etc. You want publicity? you will have.

Yes. The Reed-Solomon has a checksum making it harder to use an incorrect id. However, who types in these ids?
You do copy and paste errors too.

There just two different forms of the same address. Once is the numeric ID, and one is the reed-solomon ID.
