The New Zealand bowlers did well to restrict Australia to 258. Trent Boult bowled very economically, and Lockie Ferguson (back in the national team after three months) picked up the wickets. But their batting failed.

Well.. I am glad that this match went forward. The boards have cancelled the T20 series between the two teams, and from what I have learnt the remaining two matches from the ODI series have been also called off. So I guess we may not be witnessing much cricketing action for the next few months.

Yup because more than 80 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus in India and also India witnessed its first death because of Coronavirus so yeah it is a sensible move although they could have placed behind closed doors just like Aussies and Nz did today .

The worst news for me was the postponement of IPL and there is nothing concrete that it will start in April. If things go from bad to worst they might cancel it completely for this year. I was very much looking forward to this tournament.

We always have to look at the big picture isn't it ? India just had its 2nd death due to coronavirus in matter of 2 days and hence all the decisions regarding sports are right and we just have to be okay with it right now .
There are tournaments which have a tradition of being played for more than 100 years in other sports ( like French open and other grand slams ) which might potentially not be played this time , just imagine that .

Why do I feel that this is just the beginning and by next match Newzealand will be a complete different team with a different approach. They did the same with India a d they might do the same with the Australians.

That was always on the radar and I was little surprised when initially they said that it will continue as per schedule beacuse this is something which cannot be taken lightly and if anything happens to players then who would be responsible and government would not like to take chance when they want to control things as it’s getting worst day by day in country as numbers are on rise of such cases .

NZ require another 86 in 67 balls and have 3 wickets in hand . They had being losing wickets at regular intervals due to which their has not being any kind of good partnership which can help them to reach near the Oz score . Though the asking rate is rising continuously need to check how close NZ can reach and can they survive full 50 overs .

Batting first OZ are 217/4 in 44.3 overs . They started very well and lost first wicket a 124 runs and now Labuschange is batting I. 44 runs . If he stays till the end OZ can reach 260+ runs and NZ would like to restrict the below 250 runs which would be a good chase for them unless they lose quick wickets .

Got 2.9 odds for NZ , that is something I cannot push away although I know Aussies are the favorites . Nz are capable team who defeated Indian team in their last series so anything about 2.5 odds is worth the risk .

I will use only this post to comment on Nz vs Aus instead of creating number of posts . Good luck to everyone betting.

3:34 - Aussies won the toss and chose to bat .
5:47 - 34.3 overs , short is dismissed . NZ are in a very good position right now , Aussies are 165-4 and if Nz manages to pick up 1 or 2 wickets in 5 overs it could be a real blow for Aussies.

7:20 - Below average performance by Aussies as they finished the innings by scoring 258 runs. My bet is now looking good.

He did well to score half century . He has scored 2 half centuries and a century in his 7 matches. That's good news for Aussies.

You cannot rule out South Africa's performance recently, where they dominated the ODIs by Beating Australia. But, India will be playing in their home ground and Indian team performs exceptionally well when playing within India. I am sure this series will be very interesting to watch.

Indi Vs South Africa match got delayed due to heavy rain in the morning. Although the rain has stopped but the ground is completely wet. There will be an inspection of the ground post which a decision will be taken.

Match abandoned.

This is really sad to see that match has abandoned not due to corona virus but due to rain which is unlikely in March . Due to ecological imbalance things are changing fast and it is impacting a lot. All were waiting for this match to see India make a comeback and also to witness a good and competitive cricket from both teams but unfortunately match was called off even without bowling a ball .

I made the post because as per my analysis, it will be best for India if Virat Kohli regains his form quickly. He is by far the best player in the squad right now (by some distance). He is someone who is capable of guiding his team to victory singlehandedly. Only a very few players have this capability in world cricket right now. He needs to play against quality opposition, so that he may regain his form soon.

And I don't agree with captaincy change right now. Kohli has done a wonderful job as the captain, across the formats. Check his record, and you can see that he is one of the best captains in the history of Indian cricket.
