Australia bowling performance was amazing Adam Zampa bowling outstanding picked up 3 wicket by giving 46 runs in 7 Overs and pat Cummins also picked 2 wickets by giving 32 runs in his bowling spell. Srilanka poor batting performance they give easy wickets to Australia and its difficult to Sirlanka to cross 250 plus runs. The Target under 250 runs will be easily chase Australia have very good chance to win this match.

The Sri Lankan team had a good chance but it remains to be seen how well they can implement. Because the match was stopped for some time due to rain, a wicket fell after it resumed. Sri Lanka started well today but later on they could not hold on to wickets. Their partnership was good when they scored 116 runs in 21 overs but could not score more runs in the match due to the fall of wickets later on. Since the dismissal of Pathum Nissanka, no batsman has been able to pair the game well and since then the wickets have fallen the most and the run rate has slowed down. At the moment Sri Lanka have lost 8 wickets, but their runs have not increased much. 8 for 199 Sri Lanka are under enough pressure at the moment and I think they will lose all their wickets very soon. They could have scored 300 runs if they could have played the game today but from this score they failed and it is not possible to increase their runs. But Australia is bowling very well especially Adam Zampa bowled brilliantly and he took 4 wickets, his bowling performance put Srilanka under so much pressure today.

Yes the main reason for Sri Lanka team's failure is batting inning in past matches from Pakistan and South Africa teams and also they could not defend their big target. Sri Lanka team is in third position in the table stats at the bottom. Now, today match has been started between both teams Australia and Sri Lanka. Both these teams did not win any match in past. I really surprised from Australia team performance in this World Cup and also I also did not believe in my eyes that their performance was worst in both innings. Sri Lanka deciding to bat first seems like the right choice. In 20 overs Sri Lanka have managed to score 114 runs without losing wickets. This is a good start and surely if the partnership continues for another 50-100 runs surely we can expect the score to reach 350+ runs at the end of 50 overs. Both the openers Nissanka and Perera have scored half century and this will surely build pressure on the bowlers.

Australia is a good team, but something is wrong happening within the team. Good support from Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan towards the end. Mujeeb was man of the match but I think Gurbaz deserves this award since he is the one who laid the foundation of this victory.

Afghanistan beat the defending champions with both bat and ball to win their first World Cup match by 69 runs and they have done it against one of the tournament favourites, and the Current World Champions England. Afghanistan started well 121 runs partnership without loss of any wickets between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran and then crumbled in the middle overs to be later supported by Mujeeb and Rashid Khan with the bat and reached Afghanistan scored 284.

Afghanistan bowling performance is also outstanding Mujeeb and Rashid bowl well and rolled through the England batting line up to give Afghanistan a massive massive victory by 69 runs. The whole stadium erupted with joy as Afghanistan felt like playing at home. Mujeeb get man of the match award for his amazing all round performance picked 3 important wicktes and scored runs and give victory to his team.

The start of Afghanistan was very good. It seemed that Afghanistan can give a big target of 300 runs to England in this match. But at the crucial time of the match, Afghanistan's wickets fell quickly, so Afghanistan could not reach the target given to us. I always predicted England to win this match but unfortunately they lost this match unimaginably to Afghanistan. Afghanistan might not have lost a wicket till 120 runs but then Afghanistan lost three crucial wickets in the gap of 5 to 6 runs where Afghanistan fell far behind. If the second wicket had fallen by a margin of 50 runs or 70 runs after the first wicket, Afghanistan's first innings total would have crossed 300 plus.

Yesterday, Afghanistan proved that no team is a favorite on this stage of the World Cup, those who do well on the field will win the match. We were already in favor of England and we were sure that England would beat Afghanistan by a big margin but something contrary to our expectations happened in the last match. I think maximum people like me lost money yesterday betting on England.

At one point, it looked as if Afghanistan may make 300. But they lost some quick wickets and then ended up with a total of 284. All credit goes to Rahmanullah Gurbaz BTW. Without him, Afghanistan would have never made such a competitive total. He started by attacking Chris Woakes and Sam Curran. Both these bowlers ended up with economy rates of more than 10 runs per over. He deserved a century, but got run out as a result of a mistake from the Afghan captain, Hashmatullah Shahidi. Then it was the turn of Ikram Alikhil to get Afghanistan to a decent total.

I really missed Stokes and Moeen Ali in today's match. If these two players were present in this match, the result of the match might have been different. Stokes is an excellent batsman.
