Firstly, I would say that Congrats Indian squad qualify for final match of this 2023 World Cup by tremendous performance. I really feed quite sad for New Zealand squad because they have been out from 2023 World Cup in semi final match and a similar condition happened with New Zealand squad in previous World Cup as well. New Zealand failed to defend this huge scores target of 397 scores and they defend only 327 scores. As far as I remember, biggest defending target of this World Cup was set by Pakistan squad which was close to a score of 350. 397 scores defending target was very big and you right brother any squad of this world cup would not able to defend this target. It's all over for New Zealand. Revenge taken successfully by the Indians in style. The match was pretty much over in the first innings itself thanks to the monster total set by the Indians. Rahul's late blitz won them the game.
India had indeed ensured their victory with their batting performance in the first innings. But I was expecting a competitive match as New Zealand has some top class batsmen. The openers have failed today in front of a big target. Otherwise, the match would be competitive for sure.Also, I expected Shami to be the highest wicket taker in this game and I was right. 7 freaking wickets. I think he should be awarded the man of the match award.

Chasing big runs is very difficult especially with world class bowlers like India. If it was any other country than New Zealand team would definitely have scored better and it was not impossible to win there. When New Zealand scored 20 runs in the 41st over they had a chance if they could have scored 12 runs in the next over the pressure would have eased but the whole match saw the New Zealand batsmen miss a lot of balls which cost them such a big loss. Moreover, after Kane Williamson, Tom Latham's wicket took New Zealand's biggest loss in the match.

Team India's performance today is so good that I think they can win easily. Because the players of the Indian team have performed quite well in terms of batting from the beginning.
