Considering the fact that they (Afghanistan) managed to score only 59 runs in the first match, 300 must be a satisfying score for them. Rahmanullah Gurbaz made 150 runs and together with Ibrahim Zadran they managed to score an opening partnership of 227 runs.

Pakistan started the chase well and are 75/1 in the 12th over. They can easily win this match provided they do not lose unnecessary wickets from here on in.

Pakistan would ideally want to win today's match and seal the series for themselves.

Afghanistan batsmen have done compensation for there poor performance in first ODI and now its job of bowlers. Pakistan at the moment steady in the run chase. After 17 overs Pakistan have lost just one wicket and scored 101 runs so far. Babar Azam and Imam are on the crease but still a long way to go. AFGHANISTAN bowlers must try to get rid of both these batsmen as quickly as possible to keep Pakistan out of the contest.

300 used to be a daunting target in the last decade but not in recent times, especially on the flat decks.

Afghanistan had a poor performance in the first ODI but gave a befitting reply today. In the first match, Afghanistan failed by losing all wickets for just 59 runs, but today Pakistan could not perform very well in terms of bowling. To which some Afghanistan batsmen gave a befitting reply Gurbuz and Ibrahim Zardan these two men put the Afghanistan team at the highest point of runs today. Gurbuz alone scored 151 runs off 151 balls, which is very pleasing to me. Because the number of runs and bowling are the same. If Pakistan wants to win in this second ODI match today, the batsmen must work hard. As Afghanistan meanwhile have collected 300 runs it seems very difficult for Pakistan to achieve.
Despite playing poorly in the first ODI, they improved their game in the next match against Afghanistan. But the way Afghanistan batted and scored runs today, we can definitely say that Afghanistan has the best chance of winning. We have already seen that Pakistan started a good batting performance to reach the target given by Afghanistan but they have already lost one wicket. Although today's match is expected to be tough for Pakistan but if Pakistan batsmen can play the game then there will be a chance to win easily. Since Pakistan's two batsmen are still at the crease, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam, if Afghanistan can't get them out, the match might go against Afghanistan. Of course, if Afghanistan has to win today's match, then it has to do a good bowling performance, otherwise it can lose the match against Pakistan, it is not possible to say for sure.

300 used to be a daunting target in the last decade but not in recent times, especially on the flat decks.

This scoreline might look good, considering the Afghans were up against a quality bowling lineup but IMO they wasted a good start and they had a chance to touch a 320-ish target.

So, not sure if it's a winning score and it shouldn't be too tough for Pakistan. Unless the spin trio comes to the rescue again.
I saw the condition of the pitch, it is not possible to say whether the collection of 300 runs is enough to win on this pitch. However, Afghanistan's performance was very slow at the beginning of the innings. They collected only 86 runs in the first 20 overs. They collected 227 runs in the first wicket pair. After such a big collection in the first pair, I thought the team would deliver a target of more than 320. As still several experienced batsmen will get a chance to bat. But in the end their innings stopped at 300 runs.
Pakistan bowled well in the death overs. In the last 10 overs, perhaps Afghanistan managed to collect 74 runs. Rahmanullah Girbaz played an excellent innings of 151 runs. He collected 151 runs off 151 balls. However, it is difficult to win against a team like Pakistan, given a target of 301 runs on a flat pitch.
As Afghanistan's opening pair have batted brilliantly, they should have at least given a target of more than 320/330. 300 runs is not enough to win yet. If the bowlers perform well, a win of 300 runs is possible. But the problem is that Pakistan's batsmen are very experienced. Pakistan's batsmen will take advantage of such a flat pitch very well. Afghanistan's bowlers are talented enough but they are unlikely to do well against Pakistan's batsmen.
Pakistan batsmen are batting very carefully. They collected only 23 runs in 5 overs. They know very well that they will have no problem winning this match if they don't lose quick wickets. This is why they are batting slowly even though the target is big.

Pakistan have just lost their first wicket. Fakhar Zaman returned to the dressing room with 30 runs off 34 balls. Fazalhaq Farooqi took the wicket of Fakhar. Pakistan team lost the first batsmen by 52 runs in 9 overs. Imam ul Haque and Babar Azam are now at the crease. Imam Ulhaque batted very responsibly in the first match and was at the crease for a long time. His batting is good enough in today's match as well. Babar Azam on the other hand is a very experienced batsman. If he stays at the crease, it will not be a difficult task for Pakistan to score 300 runs. The performance of Afghanistan's bowlers is not too bad. Despite the flat pitch, they are able to bowl quite well. Afghanistan have absolutely no chance of winning the match. If the bowlers perform their duties properly, Afghanistan also has a chance to win.

The second match of Afghanistan vs Pakistan ODI series has started. Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat, Afghanistan scored 300 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Afghanistan's opening batting duo showed great performances, Rahmanullah Gurbaz played brilliantly scoring 151 runs off 151 balls, Ibrahim Zadran also played brilliantly scoring 80 runs off 101 balls. The target of 301 runs has become a competitive target in today's match. If Pakistan wants to win, they have to bat well in today's match. Afghanistan win today is more likely, but it cannot be said correctly that Afghanistan will win because Pakistan also has good batting.
After being bowled out for 59 runs against Pakistan, Afghanistan managed to score 300 runs in fifty overs against Pakistan in the second ODI match. The opening pair scored 227 runs out of 300 runs. This is Afghanistan's second highest opening partnership in ODI cricket. Chasing 300 against a team like Afghanistan will be a tough task for Pakistan as Afghanistan's bowling line-up is very strong. After the end of the first match we discussed that Afghanistan need to improve their batting very quickly and have a different batting plan. After performing so badly in the first match, I would have never understood that Afghanistan can make a comeback like this in the second match if I had not seen this innings of Afghanistan against Pakistan.

Afghanistan batted first and collected 300 runs for the loss of 5 wickets today was a great game. The Afghan batsmen played their best in their second ODI match and managed to score enough. We saw Afghanistan lost their wicket for 59 runs in their first match but in today's match they played well and improved the game. It will be very difficult for Pakistan to win the match today because the Afghan batsmen may not be able to play as well as Pakistan. In today's match, both Pakistan batsmen batted brilliantly from start to finish, especially Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran both had the best batting performances for which Afghanistan managed to score so many runs today. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 151 runs off 151 balls which was truly remarkable and Ibrahim Zadran scored 81 runs off 101 balls. Ibrahim Zadran did not reach the century for his few runs, but overall Afghanistan batsmen played superbly today and Afghans are the most likely to win.

With the combined runs of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Jordan, the Afghanistan team set Pakistan a target of 301 runs. Afghanistan team player Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 151 runs off 151 balls and Ibrahim Jordan scored 80 runs off 101 balls. Rahmanullah Gurbaz's century in today's match is really commendable. Sadly, Ibrahim Jordan could not register a century, for 20 runs. But we applaud him for his brilliant batting. Afghanistan has a great chance to win the match against Pakistan in today's match. Because I think the target of 301 runs is a sky high target for Pakistan

Afghanistan 91/0, 21 overs!

After the embarrassing loss in the first ODI, Afghanistan's batters demonstrated a strong response in the second ODI against Pakistan. The Afghan openers, Zadran and Gurbaz, played a wonderful game today. I truly enjoyed their performance, it was pure class, and they avoided any reckless shots. It's a positive sight to witness their comeback. Also, the pitch seems to be favoring the batters. The match could get even more interesting if the Afghan bowlers manage to turn things in their favor later on.

Afghanistan really on fire today. Both openers have completely destroyed the Pakistani bowling lineup. Rahmanullah Gurbaz just scored a hundred while Ibrahim Zadran is not out on 74 runs. Both openers are doing right thing by scoring runs with 5 RPO. If Afghanistan can give a target around 275 then it will be very difficult for Pakistan to chase that under light.

The game of 29 overs is over, none of the bowlers of the Pakistan team have yet taken any wicket. Such unexpected bowling of the Pakistan team cannot be accepted in any way. It is not to say that the bowlers of the Pakistan team are bowling so badly. The bowling lineup of Pakistan team in today's match is shameful. If Pakistan somehow loses today's match against Afghanistan. But I think it will be due to the irresponsibility of the bowlers

Did these guys change a pitch or what? It's the same ground but today it looks like a imported Pindi's pitch. Maybe playing at the side deck?

Afghans are yet to lose a wicket but atm run rate is not looking promising, it won't be a bad idea if they start accelerating their inning in the last 20 overs.

Yes, Afghanistan is showing very professional game in 2nd ODI against Pakistan. Can't imagine they are batting 24 overs without losing a wicket and the runs aren't too bad. If they can perform like this then I don't know what they will do against Pakistan but they will have a good chance in the Asia Cup. But the main thing is the consistency of their performance. If they maintain this consistency then they will have a very good chance of winning one match in this series and they can have a good position in the Asia Cup as well.

Afghanistan cricket team's batsmen are batting very slowly. I think Afghanistan team should increase the batting pace a bit more to increase the score. Afghanistan's run rate is very low. The Afghanistan team's run average now stands at 4.6. Afghanistan team's batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz has scored 57 runs in 80 balls so far in today's match. I hope Rahmanullah Gurbaz will score a century in today's match.
