This series is a training session for the entire team in preparation for the World Cup and hence they can experiment as much as they want and the total they need to chase was not that huge either. So everyone does get the opportunity and build their confidence moving forward and perform so that they can book a place in the team for the World Cup, if not there is a strong bench of players that would happily replace them.

Australian women did not face any major challenges in this women’s international one day match against Ireland. Australian women won the toss and decided to bowl first. That was a wise decision. From Ireland, only Orla Prendergast was able to score a good amount of runs. She was the only one having a good score beside her name. No one else was actually able to have a good score.

On the other hand, Australian women did not even lose one we get to chase down the target of 218. Both the Australian openers got a century each. A very dominating win for Australian women.

I would say Ireland's batsmen batted well enough. Collecting 217 runs against this Australian team was not an easy task. Orla Pendargast's performance in particular was quite good. He managed to play an excellent innings of 71 runs. Also the performances of Lewis, Delany and Stokell were quite good. Stokell was unbeaten on 27 runs. However, the performance of Ireland's bowlers was not good. Ireland's bowlers were not able to take any wickets of Australia. The team reached the target of victory in just 36 overs without losing any wicket. Both the openers managed to score centuries. And the Australia women's team won the series 2-0 with the great performance of the two openers.

This was one of those matches where the Indian team could experiment as much as they can and they did just that. In modern day cricket, you will not get international matches where you have too much room to experiment.

Indian bowlers did a great job, dismissing the Indian team at 114 runs and now the Indian batsmen have all the freedom to shuffle themselves and do some experiments.

Let's see how they go about in the 2nd ODI to be played tomorrow at Bridgetown. Lets us see how they go about their batting order.

West Indies batsmen were disoriented by India's Spain bowlers. Kuldeep Yadav bowled three overs where he picked up four wickets for six runs with two maidens. I think if this spinner could have been bowled for a bit longer then he would have taken all the wickets of West Indies single handedly. However, only Ishan Kishan could perform well in India's second innings. In the India vs West Indies match we expected a high scoring match but we got a very low scoring match. As fast as the first match ended, I hope the next match will not end so quickly.

India is one of the best cricket teams in the world. West Indies can never match India. Because the Indian team plays full quality cricket, Indian players are ahead of West Indies in all aspects of bowling, batsman, fielding.

I have no idea why the Indian management changed their dark blue jersey which looked kick-ass while the current jersey looks so average and boring. Why try to fix what's great in the first place?

Also, this entire series between India and West Indies was expected to be one-sided and that's what is happening. Boring series overall!

Ishan really did well, but Surya and Gill needs to prove their capabilities for the team. KL Rahul will be fit very soon, so it’s obvious he will be keeping in world cup. Now for 4th position either they will consider Ishan, Surya or Samson. This match was just to try various players, Rohit Sharma the Indian skipper said himself before the match.

The T20 game was played like losing wickets. Yesterday's match was held mainly on the bowling piece ground due to which both the teams were under a lot of pressure while batting.
