So, we can expect good cricket from both but talking to the England Team performance as usual today was not as good as they played in their previous matches. I was thinking before that match that England today would go for 400+ but they didn't reach even 200 which is quite disappointing for the fans of England.

I am still in shocked and can't able to believe that the defending champions can perform so badly like this and will almost knockout before semifinal, it's so rude and pointing out huge question on different quality player performance. Anyway they lose four of thier matches and if they still win rest of thier match then still they have no chance to qualify unless any miracle happened and all top 4 lose thier matches against below standing teams. I think credit of this victory goes to sirilankan bowling because I taught England will fight hard today for thier qualification but sirilankan bowler not even provide a single opportunity to thier opponent to settle down and thats why they scored low and lose important match

It true that Sri Lanka did it again beating England for the umpteenth time in the Cricket World Cup tournament.
They are on the verge of being knocked out early if they continue like this because England have suffered four defeats which leaves them at the bottom of the rankings for now.
Even though there are still several more matches in the future England will likely experience difficulties in the matches against India Pakistan and Australia.
These three teams will become a wall that can prevent England from winning.

It over, there nothing to expect from England because even catching up feels impossible.

Their main players are either injured or out of form. Jofra Archer hasn't yet recovered from injury. Ben Stokes, Sam Curran and Mark Wood are out of form. And they don't have quality players to replace these ones. Anyway, world cup is almost over for England. Now it is time for introspection. The next major ICC tournament is going to be the T20 World Cup of 2024, and they need to prepare well for it.

Well... they dropped Pathirana. That was a bold move and in the end it worked for them. Pathirana is too young and he can't handle pressure situations. Today, their pace combination of Kasun Rajitha-Angelo Mathews-Lahiru Kumara-Dilshan Madushanka worked pretty well. And they were backed up by the two spinners (Maheesh Theekshana and Dhananjaya de Silva). That said, I am not sure what happened to the England batsmen. Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler have a lot of experience of playing in the IPL, but they are not scoring runs this time.

In my point of view the bowling was not good the batting of England was more weak therefore they didn't able to stay on pitch. I am saying a bad batting because if you see mostly players are catch out. So this is showing that England has bad batting line.
By the way at this time SriLanka is near to its success. They have made 72 runs in 13 overs and lost only two wickets.
