Yeah, you will say that South Africa did win the 1st ODI but remember they lost the T20 series and i am sure they will lose the ODI series too.
It's not easy to win against India when you are playing in India. India is unstoppable with Shreyas Iyer scored over a 100 runs and Ishan Kishan missing a century by just seven runs.

Guess you were wrong here. Anything under 300 is hardly competitive these days in the ODI format which is why I expected India to win comfortably which is what happened at the end of the day.

South Africa are under pressure now due to their direct qualification scenario for the 2023 World Cup. Am expecting India to win the final too.

Dew was there to create trouble for South African bowlers, they even changed a ball when it got out of control.

Having said that Iyer and Kishan batted beautifully, this is a good sign for India and it shows the depth of the bench considering the first 15 choices are in Australia and 3-4 players are injured.

I was at first in the impression that South Africa won't be able to reach 200+ runs. However they did go beyond my expectations and scored 279 runs. The target doesn't seems difficult but it can if India losses early wickets. I eager to watch Shubman Gill bat in this match. This guys has a lot of talent but lack the experience.

South Africa made 278 which may or may not be enough. At one stage South Africa were 215-4 and at that time it seems that South Africa will score over 300 runs but then they started losing wickets and end up on 278. Everyone chipped in and made a score while Aiden Markram topped with 79 runs.

From India, Mohammed Siraj was the best bowler who took three wickets. His economy rate was 3.80 only which was impressive.

India lost their captain Shikhar Dhawan at 13 runs only. India has a reasonable target to chase and it won't be an easy task. If South Afria took two three quick wickets, they can surely fancy their chances of winning this match.
